Nice product - not quite what I was expecting though
Delivery was exactly as notified.
Product was very tasty but not exactly what I had expected.
I ordered a Tarte Tatin expecting the traditional caramelized "upside down" apple tarte - what we got was more of a caramel apple flan - delicious , but not the traditional version I had expected.

Thanks so much for the review, though I'm sorry to see what you received wasn't what you were expecting. This recipe is a creation of our Managing Director who was trained under the Roux Brothers, and so this Tarte Tartin is a direct descendent of them! Naturally between chefs there will always be small personalisations, which is a beautiful thing, but I can absolutely assure you that our Tarte Tartin is very classic, you can't get much more classic than the Roux Brothers!
However I am sorry that, despite it being delicious, it was different to what you were hoping for. If ever there's anything that you weren't happy with, or even if there were any questions regarding the items you receive (or are yet to receive!) please do e-mail us, we're always happy to help and no query is too small.

Hi, the chicken soup arrived and I was so disappointed as the stock was tasteless. I had to add a stock cube. Shan't be ordering again.

Ouch, this was a very disappointing review to read! Honestly I have to wonder if something has gone wrong with our cooking method here, as so many people absolutely love the chicken soup, it's one of our best sellers!
I would always recommend contacting Customer Services if you have have an issue (I'd recommend this for any company, but especially our own!). We're a small business and your happiness is important to us, it definitely stings to get a 2 star review especially when we've not yet had a chance to look into, and more importantly, fix anything.

Thank you for your comments. I can see discount code was e-mailed to you when you subscribed to the newsletter and it looks like this e-mail was opened too, perhaps you didn't see the coupon code at the bottom of the e-mail, is that possible? Either way, I'm sorry you were left feeling dismayed about this. It's a relatively new process and system for us and so there are times we're ironing out any teething problems as and when they come through, I'm sorry if you got caught up in this.
With regards to the Salted Caramels, I've just spoken to the team who confirmed there were no problems with stock of this product when this lovely package was dispatched, so it absolutely should have been in the order.. I can't see that anyone has been in touch to let us know that the chocolates weren't in the box so it doesn't look like we've had a chance to fix this, could you perhaps e-mail our Customer Services to get this rectified?
It's always disappointing to receive a negative review, but even more so when we haven't been notified of any problems that we need to fix, so we'd really appreciate a chance to fix this please.

Good morning Christine. Thank you for your comments, though I'm sorry to see you were left disappointed.
We love the Mel Bagel toasts so much, but they are incredibly delicate. We've tried so many different methods to keep them completely intact in transit, including introducing a sturdy (and lovely keepsake!) Forman & Field tin to dispatch them in, but unfortunately we just haven't found a way to maintain the beautiful shape that they leave us in. For this reason we've almost had to admit defeat, and so now we make mention on the website that the toasts may unfortunately break in transit. However, this should mean that if they do break in transit they will simply turn into bite sized cracker pieces that are perfect for your pate!
If they arrived in anything less than this and were unusable we would always recommend you contact Customer Services with some photos, if we need to make something right we want to know about it!

Food was delivered in good condition was tasty and my guests devoured it. Not having a time slot for delivery is quite hard to negotiate.

Our drivers will leave your package safe somewhere if you're not in to receive the package, so whilst there's no delivery slot as such, we do our best to make sure that this doesn't impact you too much. Fantastic Fish Feast
Really enjoyed the meal that Forman and Field delivered in the main.
The Miso Cod was amazing as were the huge prawns and the salmon and scallop skewers delish.
The victoria sponge was not amazing, although serving with Tesco custard definitely helped
The main disappointing part of the meal was the Petit Fours - I had hoped for something a bit more special for the money charged.

When I placed the order, it was a with a very friendly helpful lady on the telephone. It was a pleasure to be able to speak to a real person! They recommended when the best delivery date would be for me and the order would be delivered by one of their own drivers they were extremely reliable and did what they promised to do, my order was perfectly executed And I even was given some chocolates as a gift in my order which was a lovely surprise

I had missed thr drlivery slot but had an important dinner event . Foreman and Field asked the chefs to see if they could turn this around for me and they did . They never disappoint.
Found them in lockdown and hsve used ever since . Lots of choice snd the vegetarian options are v good too .
