Fraudulent Sale, No Protection
Purchased a table, seller vanished, table never arrived
Folksy claimed they have no obligation to step in and the money was lost, that they offer no protection to consumers using their site

Very good site
Really love this site with loads of talented designers and makers. There is a huge range of unusual handmade items for sale. It’s just such a shame that Folksy isn’t a well known brand as they don’t seem to advertise themselves. Other better known platforms have TV ads, buyers app etc.

Honest, friendly site
I much prefer Folksy to other, unnamed maker sites. It feels far more intimate and honest. As a maker/seller I find it very easy to use and love the shop layout. I suppose my only issue would be that not enough people seem to know about it, making it slightly hard to reach potential visitors.

Ok sold one item over month takes to long to list items no shop sections all bundled up together. Not allowed sell bladed items half my stock is knives I’m bladesmith and woodworker. Good points are low fees etc but nowhere’s near as good as Etsy sorry

Plus account fees have risen but I can’t see why ? You tend to favour and highlight businesses with more followers and sales than us ordinary part time crafters 🤔 I never see Folksy being promoted anywhere unlike Etsy (who I’m not a fan of)
