Would never use again

Received some flowers last week that I paid £27 for they only lasted a few days. Contacted customer service and they said they would send a replacement which arrived a few minutes ago. Less than 10 flowers and already half dead. I have seen better flowers in a petrol station at a quarter of the price.

There was a delay in delivering my…

There was a delay in delivering my flowers which was ok as I had ordered with enough time, there was a quick response which said they had a delay from their stockist so had posted them out that morning 24 hour delivery. They did arrive the next day which was great however the flowers were wilted, dead and unusable. These flowers were for my wedding day so I then had to go to a local supermarket to get flowers to make up a bouquet therefore spending 2x for my bouquet.
Customer service has been appalling as even after sending pictures of the dead flowers they have stated they don't offer refunds but will send me out some more flowers (I obviously do not want this as they were for a specific occasion). One of the responses from the store was that “the flowers didn't obviously last well” which is unacceptable. I am very disappointed as I don’t think its acceptable to receive a faulty item and not receive a refund after providing photo evidence of the poor condition.

DO NOT PURCHASE!

I ordered flowers from this company because I needed specific white tulips to remember the anniversary of a close friends father passing. I selected the date, ordered in advance and received a confirmation saying they would be delivered on said date.

The flowers didn't show up, making it look as if I had forgotten such an emotional and important date. When I rang the customer service an extremely rude man answered the phone with no remorse, not a single apology. He just said "we had to get them from Holland, you should read our terms and conditions, it says we can't guarantee the day". I went on to explain what an important occasion it was and that this wasn't clearly advertised on the website, even asking him "do you ready the terms and conditions in depth before ordering, or would you trust the confirmation stating it would be the correct date". To which he admitted he wouldn't read the terms and conditions, but it wasn't his fault, next time read the terms and conditions, he then proceeded to hang up.

I can't describe the level of unprofessionalism and lack of empathy displayed, it really does show this company has awful service and even worse customer service. I understand logistics, I'm not unreasonable, but to not receive even an apology let alone compensation is disgusting.

By the way he spoke, it sounded as if this was a regular complaint he was used to and didn't care about. I would say it shows them to be a 'cheap alternative' but the prices are higher than leading flower companies, with service x10 worse!

Don't waste your time, go for a reliable company that care when taking your hard earnt money.

Appalling Customer service

the customer service from this company is possibly the worst I have ever experience.
Very easy to take your money and order, but when there is an issue no interest is helping to resolve it,
Stay away from this company and use one which actually values your custom and want to deliver a good service

Stunning flowers

I have been sent flowers from various online flower delivery companies as monthly subscription for a birthday present. I have to say that Flourish is the best. Beautiful bouquets in perfect condition, last for ages. Thank you Flourish.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.
Tried to get a bunch of flowers to a friend post surgery and they were most unhelpful. Offered no solution to get the flowers delievered. Withheld the fact that they would have never rectified a missed delivery. Do not recommend

Stay away from this company.
The could not supply the 50 daffodil stems I ordered but supplied 30 freesias. I know their website says if they can’t supply your order they will send a replacement. I didn’t see that point as I was ordering flowers to give out to mourners at my mums funeral this Friday. They say they didn’t let me know there would be a replacement as it states it on the website. It would have been a matter of courtesy to let me know.
I ordered 50 daffodil stems but only got 30 freesias stems!!! I paid £46 for the order. I have had better stems from Aldi and I’m waiting to see if they last as long as Aldi.
This company has no empathy or understanding of the impact this has had on me at this sad time. They will not give me the outstanding 20 stems. They will not give me a refund and they will not accept a return.
Awful, awful money grabbing …………! Steer clear is it’s value for money and good customer service you want.

Appalled

Appalling. Bought a peony bouquet and 99% of flowers were not peonies. A very disappointed customer caught by some florist sharp practices. Avoid this florist

Bad customer payment jouney

Ordered online even tho postage was very expensive for the 1 bulb I ordered, then saw after I had committed payment via Applepay that the postage price increased so what I actually paid was an even higher postage cost. I emailed FlowersbyFlourish to query the postage cost increase after payment was committed, and asked if this was an error, I was told it was the addition of VAT on the postage. I replied and said I felt the journey was misleading for customers as the amount changed after payment was committed, so I paid more than I expected - I was told by James from their team that I was being offensive!
Clearly they dont want to listen to or willingly accept customer feedback, it was lucky they had ‘run out’ of the item I ordered and I was refunded (including VAT).
I would definitely advise others to avoid this company, as they don't seem to care about the experience they offer customer's or care what they think + the postage is very expensive.

Great customer support

Great customer support - some flowers ordered were out of stock, they have quickly reached out by email and offered replacement options instead. Next day and even same day delivery are possible which is very helpful.

Wanted a subscription for a present

Wanted a subscription for a present. The description on the website states:Subscription for your flower beds at home. Our colourful perennials, shrubs, bulbs & grasses will brighten your borders throughout the seasons. However...This is false. They sent 3 identical plants. Who buys 3 identical hydrangeas? Cancelled subscription and had to pay £10 because I'd used a code. I wouldn't have cancelled if they'd sent a range. Not happy with service at all. They were not understanding at all when i fontacted them. Avoid!! I've now used another service and for less.

Poor

Bouquet seemed undersized for price paid but quality appeared ok at first - two days later half of the flowers were dead and the entire display had to be binned after four.

Not as all of the quality expected.

Delivered flowers late with zero accountability

I ordered a bouquet of my friends favourite flowers to congratulate her on her new baby. I set the delivery date to arrive prior to our visit with her so we could give them in person. The bouquet and delivery was £68.95.

The bouquet did not turn up.

I contacted Flowers by Flourish to advise them and request a refund. They did not acknowledge any fault and referred me to their terms and conditions stating that I should have allowed 48hrs from the requested delivery date for the flowers to arrive. Nowhere on the delivery information page on the website does it state this or during the checkout process. This is a completely non-user friendly process and non customer focussed business.

They did not attempt to make good on this bad experience.

The flowers turned up late and our cats and housesitter are currently enjoying them as we are on holiday and the occasion of our visit with our lovely friend has past.

I would not recommend.

Terrible AVOID!

Terrible, utterly terrible. Ordered flowers that never arrived for an occasion and arrived 2 days later. Spoke to James Hunt MD who bluntly said no they won’t be issuing a refund and that I’d decided to return the flowers because as I’d stated they were no longer needed.

Trapped in a contract where you cant cancel

The flowers by this company are brilliant & I really loved being a customer until I found out that when you try to cancel they told me I am in a binding contract to subscribe for a certain length of time and that if I cancel they will take £50 out of my account. This is after recieving 12 bouquets of flowers over 12 weeks. I unsubscribed & it said pending. They deleted my request to unsubscribe and carried on sending the flowers by force. Because they didnt want to have to fine me £50.

I would have been a much happier customer without this discount code trap malarkey, just paying the full price. Its like giving people a nasty shock when they are loving the service & having a good experience of it. I will be very warey in the future. Im terminally ill and shouldnt have to read huge long terms and conditions documents to check there are no tricks and traps in a contract but thats how it seems to be nowdays.

The information about the commitment was not given to me when I set up the subscription over the phone.

This is how you get bound into the commitment. Its written in the terms and conditions document but if they dont tell you, you are still trapped by agreeing to the terms and conditions.

13.3 If a customer cancels their subscription before they have paid for the minimum number of deliveries as per their respective offer codes then Flowers by Flourish Ltd will recoup the full amount of the discount retrospectively in addition to £10 cancellation charge. If a customer has only had one discounted delivery and then cancels, we will recoup the discount applied to that delivery and a £10 cancellation charge. If there have been 2 deliveries then we will recoup 2 discounts and apply a single £10 cancellation charge. Avoid at all costs

Ordered 6 dahlias. 4 were damaged and one was a different colour to the pic on the website (falsely advertised). After bringing this to their attention I received no correspondence. Upon this I returned the items tracked and signed for and still no refund. I've since spoken to my bank and as it was a preorder item they're going to chargeback. You don't get poor service like this from Farmer Gracy
