Awful product awful customer service
I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of this product and the customer service I received.
I purchased five tins of Floor Savers epoxy resin floor paint, spending a considerable amount of money because the product is advertised as being hard-wearing, easy to clean, and suitable for garages, workshops and industrial spaces, with claims that it can withstand vehicle traffic, hot tyres, chemicals and daily wear without marking or lifting.
I carefully prepared the floor and applied three coats in one of my rooms, following the instructions. Despite this, the finish has been incredibly disappointing. The paint scratches very easily, has already started lifting in places, and the surface absorbs even simple dirt and mud stains, leaving it looking permanently dirty even after cleaning. This is completely the opposite of what I expected from an epoxy floor coating marketed as durable and easy to maintain.
What disappointed me even more was the response from customer service. I contacted them politely, simply asking for advice and hoping they could help. Instead, I was told that moving chairs across the floor was likely the cause of the scratches and that this was probably why the floor was absorbing stains.
I find this explanation unacceptable. If a floor coating marketed for garages, workshops and industrial use cannot cope with something as ordinary as chairs being moved across it, then it is clearly not fit for the purpose it is being advertised for. A durable epoxy floor should not fail under such basic everyday use.
I wasn’t looking for an argument—I simply wanted some advice and a reasonable solution. Instead, I was made to feel as though the fault was entirely mine, despite using the product as intended.
Given the amount I spent on five tins of paint, I expected far better quality and much better after-sales support.
