Me and my partner had ordered our carpet from floors 4 you Kidderminster and was pleased with the customer sevice from Josh and James both were very helpful and James came out on the same day to do measurements which was very good of him. They tried there best to get the best prices available and managed to sort us out with a good deal. Couldn't ask for any more really.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Floors 4 You at Camp Hill, particularly from the store manager, who has shown very little interest in resolving my concerns or providing acceptable customer service.
I purchased flooring which was fitted in July 2025. Shortly after installation, I raised concerns about issues with the floor. Both the fitter and the sales team repeatedly assured me that the floor would "settle" within a few months. Instead of improving, the condition of the floor has only become worse.
Throughout this process, both the fitter and the sales team blamed the flooring supplier, claiming the product itself was faulty. However, I have experienced nothing but poor communication, delays, and a complete lack of accountability from everyone involved.
What I found particularly concerning was the manager's own admission that "we're not flooring experts, we just sell the floor, that's why we hire fitters." If that is the case, why are customers expected to accept the consequences when the company's recommended fitter fails to identify or address problems correctly?
Before the flooring was installed, I specifically asked both the sales team and their recommended fitter whether the subfloor needed levelling. I was clearly told that it did not. I firmly believe this poor advice is one of the main reasons my floor now squeaks throughout the property.
Despite spending approximately £3,000, I have been left with a faulty floor, poor workmanship, and a retailer that refuses to accept any responsibility. Instead, I have been passed between the fitter, the supplier, and the store, with each party blaming someone else while I am left with an unsatisfactory floor.
The level of customer service has been unacceptable from start to finish. I would not recommend Floors 4 You Camp Hill to anyone based on my experience. Customers deserve honest advice, competent installation, clear communication, and a company that stands behind the products and services it sells. Unfortunately, I received none of these.
THIS IS THE BLETCHLEY MILTON KEYNES STORE NOT STOURBRIDGE !!
You will note I have stipulated which store I had business with as Floors 4 You continually say the negative reviews are for Stourbridge even if no store name is mentioned.
I purchased wood flooring on 27th April and paid £1040 after a £8 discount. I had a full conversation with the young man about fitting & skirting etc and when it would be done.
Fitting was arranged for the following week 4th – 8th May to be confirmed by phone or email. Fitters would come down from up north as all your other stores are based up there. One of those fitters would come beforehand to my house to ascertain any extras needed such as door bars etc. My old skirting was previously removed. I was informed they could also fit new skirting (which was in the house ready) for an extra charge no problem.
On Friday 8th May I phoned the store to find out why no fitting had been arranged with me. !st excuse was it was a bank holiday to which I replied was only 1 day what about the other 4 days. 2nd excuse waiting delivery possible today or Saturday. Will call me back to let me know.
No call back so on the phone again Monday 11th My response was busy with a customer will call me back. 25 mins later I called again and was cut off. I then made the head office call.
Spoke to a nice man called me my lovely all the time. He apparently got onto the phone with them and said the store would call me within a hour.
The store did call me back before the hour. It was a foreign man who's English was not very good. Firstly tried to increase my fitting charge to £400 when I have it in writing and its on the estimate in the store file it would be £294. I then said could the fitters bring some glue for the skirting. He then rambled on about having to order glue. I said I can go out later and buy it. Still no fitting date. Call was ended I was even more annoyed about the attempt to overcharge for the fitting.
A little while later phone rang again was the young man from the store he wanted to clarify the glue as he was well aware the flooring was going to be floating and not glued. The manager had got mixed up it the glue was for the skirting not flooring !!
Fitting at the agreed price was going to be done Wednesday 13th May. Fitters would do skirting aswell. Then another phone call could I do Thursday instead a lone fitter would do the fitting and skirting for a total of £330. Thought it was too good to be true but I agreed.
Received a call Thursday morning 14th May to say fitters were on their way to which I replied there's 2 fitters ? he said yes. When the guys arrived told me the original guy had pulled out and they did not fit skirting so I had been fobbed off yet again !! Fitters changed 3 times.
I was then put in the situation of no pre visit to view any flooring requirements beforehand which was promised more than once to be told my room has 2 different floor levels and 1 side needed a screed. No flooring could be laid till that was done.So today I have paid out £380 for a screed and no flooring laid again and no skirting either.I could have had the screed laid earlier and sourced a skirting fitter ready. Now I am still in th same position I was 3 weeks ago apart from a level half floor and 15 boxes of wood flooring in my lounge.
Thankfully the fitters almost finished a wonderful job but gave me the bad news I was a box short. They rang the store who said they could supply another box. As suspected they did not add on 10% wastage to my order. The guys picked up the box next day and were charged by the store !!
Emailed their head office listing all the problems caused by their staff and the lack of positive customer service which was ignored. No surprise there negative attitude consistent with the store.
I am really upset and appalled at the way I have been treated listening to sales garbage and the made up excuses which to put it bluntly were not true trying to blindside a pensioner. I actually regret walking into the store.
Hidden costs
I had a very disappointing experience with Floors 4 You Shrewsbury.
I purchased my flooring and was under the clear impression during the sales process that fitting was part of the service. At no point was it made transparent that the fitters were independent and that I would need to pay them separately. This lack of clarity resulted in unexpected additional costs, which I believe should have been clearly explained upfront.
The situation became even more frustrating after installation. The fitters caused damage to my property and left waste behind, which I then had to deal with myself. On top of that, I had to hire an additional tradesperson to trim and refit five doors and two kickboards due to the flooring installation—another unforeseen expense.
When I raised these issues, the company declined all responsibility, stating that fitters are independent and that they only supply materials. While this may be their policy, it was not communicated clearly at the point of sale, which is where the real issue lies.
Overall, I feel let down by the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and unwillingness to take accountability. I would strongly advise others to clarify all costs and arrangements in detail before purchasing, especially regarding fitting services.
Milton Keynes/Bletchley store worth a visit
I popped into this lovely flooring shop in Bletchley (MK1 1EQ) after spotting it while leaving a nearby DIY store, as I’m currently looking for carpets and flooring for my in-laws’ new home.
From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by three friendly staff members who took the time to really understand what I needed.
They offered thoughtful suggestions, showed me a range of samples and patiently answered my many questions. I never felt rushed - they were more than happy to talk me through their products, colour options and all the extras I might need, like subflooring, preparation and underlay. They even provided an approximate cost based on some rough measurements I had, which was really helpful, as well as give me approximate lead times and explain their fitting service.
For a small refundable deposit, I was able to take several samples home to show my in-laws and see how the colours and different shades would work in their new space. As a nice touch, they even carried the samples out to my car.
I spent quite a while there, but the team remained attentive, honest and incredibly polite throughout. I’m really impressed with the level of service and would definitely recommend them.
A good range, helpful staff, competitive pricing and special offers! Worth a visit if you need any flooring in and around the Milton Keynes area.
Fantastic company
Hi just wanted to leave a review for the staff at the walsall branch on green lane. I was helped by a lovely young man called faz he was outstanding from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble he answered all my questions. Sorted it out for me and I am really glad and appreciate all the help he gave me. Hannah was lovely as well when she came and measured up. What can I say brilliant people. Will be leaving a review again when fitting is done and posting pictures. Highly recommend. Price was very good. Overall quality service
Great Service …
Adam at the Kidderminster branch was very helpful, helped sort out what we needed, gave us an excellent deal, arranged fitting, other staff were just as good when I had forgotten a few details, sorted straight away, fitters turned up on time and did a great job laying herringbone laminate flooring in three rooms and adjusting a couple doors. Clean, polite and efficient. We live on a rural location over twenty miles from the shop, this was not an issue for them at all.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company - in particular the Stourbridge/Camp Hill vranch! In July this year, we ordered flooring for 4 rooms. First 3 were fitted, looked great. However, this is where the horror story begins. The 4th room, our bathroom, we were told that we needed another pack of flooring (despite measuring the room and being told 1 pack was enough to order) and so our floorer said he would return the following week to complete the job. A week went by, continuous phonecalls to the company with no answer, including me visiting the store to ask about the missing pack and the floorer. I was told to take a picture of the flooring and send it via WhatsApp so that it can be located. I never had a reply. We managed to get the second pack, but found out that our floorer (booked with this company) had left the country, with our money, and so we were told that another floorer would be sourced for us and we would finally have a bathroom floor. This was the last week of July. I have tried phoning the company multiple times, as has my partner, and we kept getting told it was being sorted. Then, we were told that they were going under/into liquidation in August, so it is very surprising to see that they are now open again. And since then, we have had no communication, no money back for an incomplete job. In September, I left a similar review on the previous listing of the exact same company, as did others, but it suddenly disappeared. Interesting to see it is back up. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Avoid at all costs
Without question, this company (The Camp Hill, Stourbridge branch specifically) is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Empty promises and abject lies are normalised here, particularly from management. The third party fitters they choose to work with are obviously unqualified to do a job to an acceptable standard. Even a revisit (which was a much bigger challenge to arrange than it should have been), resulted in next to no improvement. Despite many attempts to get things rectified, a refusal at management level to accept responsibility, despite clear and obvious photographic evidence, was abundantly clear. The notion of good customer service does not even hit the scale. I am in the process of reporting this business to trading standards and the Ombudsman (as I advised I was quite prepared to do on the phone in the hope it would jog them into positive action - sadly it didn't - just more lies that were obviously so). After my own imposed deadline for negative reviews has now elapsed, I am following through on my promise after further chances have been disregarded by this business to put things right. Do yourself a favour and avoid these cowboys - there is no other word to describe the pitiful level of service I encountered consistently over a period of 2 - 3 months. I am now left with a substandard vinyl fitting that I need to pay to have rectified somewhere else. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

We had an absolute nightmare we had to…
We had an absolute nightmare we had to wait 4 weeks for a fitter then one turned up5 hours late levelled a bit of the floor 1m square charged £80 and we never saw him again even though he was supposed to come the next day no phone call to keep us informed then given another date which was a no show again no phone call then given another date fitter turned up LATE did the floor took plinths off didnt put back on as we agreed to get new ones he was paid extra for doors to be taken off so we got new plinths and we have never seen him since after numerous trips to the shop finally got a fitter to come do the plinths he turned up 4 hours late and well it was the worst workmanship i have ever seen it cost us another £80 and they were all loose gaps everywhere and i mean the gaps were 10mm wide then the bar came loose not fitted prperly all this took approx 9 weeks cost us approx £900 the customer service was horrendous i had to put the work right myself on the plinths that took me a day this company should be strck off or stopped from trading

Not flooring related but I went into Floors 4 all on Allesley old road in Coventry asking for a cardboard box or something flat that I could use for my jigsaw and Luke Jenkinson kindly gifted me a white board 😊 a very good deed on his part and wanted to write a review so people know about the generosity he done.
I will pay it forward in kindness, the world is a better place with good people like that 🌍😁.

Although when we came in, the flooring we wanted was out of stock in-store, he went above and beyond, calling people to source the EXACT same flooring for us, at a discount, and ready for collection.
Within minutes, he’d solved the issue completely and we left feeling very happy. Excellent service, great range, and such helpful staff. Huge thanks to Daniel!

The fitters Nevi and Teki..carried out the fitting superbly taking care on all aspects..
