Lots more UK records than ancestry and…
Lots more UK records than ancestry and loads of original parish/church records i e Baptisms, Marriages and Burials of which Ancestry more often than not only has transcripts.
Also the vast Newspaper collection is fantastic!!!

FindMyPast or FraudMyFuture?
FindMyPast says a payment was not taken (i.e. payment check for billing in 7 days), yet my bank says it was successful. No automated cancelling of the account, you message DELETE in the query page. I am expecting FraudMyFuture to take my money, thus these days to get response the easiest way is to come here.
To be fare they did come back to me and confirmed my account was deleted and no money will be drawn. Still a poor experience of the website.
Update: they contacted after this review and resolved the situation. A one star increase for that.

Not as good at finding ancestors as I expected. For example should be able to search for both parties in a marriage. Should able to find a connection between two given families.
Best feature (and why I chose findmypast) is the newspaper archive.

When searching a marriage directly you can search for both parties. To search a record set directly you can click 'Search' followed by 'All Records Sets' and search for marriages.

Access to 1921 census - a b9nus
I joined when FMP published the 1921 census. I have enjoyed finding other records, eg school reports and access to newspapers. Very good service. My research now takes me back to parish records in the 1500s. I have to rationalise my expenses now. Thank you

Find My Past is my go to website
Find My Past is my go to website for ancestry searches because it narrows down exactly what I want and very often displays both a transcript and the original document. The subscription add-on for newspapers is a Godsend as it’s unlocked quite interesting details of some ancestors and helped to confirm identities and, thus, break frustrating search walls.

Family tree hangs regularly when…
Family tree hangs regularly when searching. Not major but annoying. Tutorials can be quite vague. Some previously available functions on hints not now available( view another tree).
All in all , a good package, which I'm happy using.

Love the format of a community tree…
Love the format of a community tree works well and a great tool to link your tree up to research done by other people from different parts of your tree . My one complaint is if I try delete an ancester I know doesn't belong the app tells me iv no authorisation to do so but all in all a great app
