Excellent resource for Irish and UK research
I'm a professional genealogist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota who often researches Western European immigrants to the USA and their ancestors. FindMyPast is a helpful resource, especially for my research in Ireland and the UK. I appreciate the links to records at the NLI, which I often need for my own and client projects. The search functions provide useful ways to include name variants and possible transcription errors and to extend the possible location for a record gradually. It can also search a location for siblings and extended family of my main subject. Access to newspaper articles is terrific as well.

My first choice for my genealogy research. The search engine works very well. Love the optional spellings and suggestion for nearby places features. Also love the feature with birth registrations that provides the mother's maiden name. Also love the "Report an Error" feature allowing transcription corrections.

way too expensive. subscription is even higher than youtube premium and netflx and amazon put together. no one's going to use this 365 days in a year. so it should be economical. only ways for them to make money off you.
besides the membership, to view other docs you need an extra exclusive and premium buy in. daylight robbery in the name of your ancestors.
