Ordered on the 10th of December thinking it would get here by Christmas. Updated that my order was packed and ready on the 16th and my order is still sitting waiting to be picked up on the 19th. Was told it could take 8 days to get here once it was picked up. Delivery cut off was the 15th but that is obviously not true. Should’ve ordered earlier.

Absolutely appalling farmers, very upset I purchased my daughters and mothers Christmas presents online for Christmas on the 4th of December today is the 17th and $700 worth of items has still not been shipped, you should be ashamed of your company and customer service I do not know how you can think this is acceptable to do this to customers it causes a lot of stress, I can get items shipped from overseas faster then your company, Ihave had no contact what so ever after countless emails, fair to say you need to stop false advertising as it’s not fair that you can get away with it

Wow. Just wow. Their customer service is just rubbish. I rang to ask about an estimate delivery date cause your item hasn't been sent in 8 working day and delivery states 7 working days. The lady on the phone was a condescending cow. No help just outright rude. First and last time ordering from farmers online .

Made a Click and collect order now 2 weeks ago, still not ready to collect. Have contacted customer service, given a vague response of “it’s being processed through our carrier”. A second email not responded to at all. I wish I’d read reviews before doing an online order, it looks like I’ll have to repurchase the products so I can gift them on time!!

Bought an expensive stick deodorant 07/12/24 rang today 16/07/24 and told it’ll be another week. For a stick deodorant???
After reading other similar reviews I’m not holding my breath. Lost a repeat customer here

4th of December - Ordered Purfume for a Christmas gift
10th of December- Packed and assigned tracking number “ready for collection”
13th of December- Emailed enquiry re status, still ready for collection (has of yet no reply, only been 24 hours though)
14th of December- Picked up/on it’s way, expected delivery time 24th of December? As it’s a Christmas present it better be here before then, it’s expensive perfume that I just can’t go out and buy another to replace it.
Really Farmers? Do better.

Going back to buying from Other suppliers, you have lost this customer.
I understand posties are busy this time of year and that’s ok I understand that, and include that in the decision to buy online but Farmers is a big brand “trusted” store where almost 2 weeks from placing the order to Farmers actually getting the order packed and picked up in this day and age is just really bad service. Do not recommend. Have parcels arrive from Australia in half the time a Farmers parcels takes (and still waiting) Just wised I had read these reviews first.

Poor shipping timeframes, it's been 8 days since I placed an order and it's only been booked for pickup now. This is for two beauty products so not hard to fulfil at all (even given the time of year)

The same as most bad reviews. I don't understand how such a large company can be so unbelievable poor with their online order fulfilment.
I ordered something 28/11/2024 and the email confirmation said it would be delivered 06/12/2024. That date has come and gone. When I spoke with their customer support, he assured me it was set for delivery on the 11th so I took more time off work to wait for a delivery, that yet again did not show up.
Customer support still can't give me an answer to where my order is or when it will be delivered.
Completely and utterly useless. And this isn't even a long time to wait compared other people who have left reviews.
Definitely will not be buying from them online, or instore if I can help it, ever again.

Avoid online orders from Farmers! Placed an order for a few cosmetic items on 28 Nov. Got an email to say I can expect delivery 6 Dec. Already that is a super long time to wait for an online order, but I accepted this. On 10 Dec, the order has still not arrived! Trying to follow order status up with NZ post, they refer to sender. Low and behold, the excuse came - apparently the cosmetics I bought are seen as 'dangerous goods' and therefore needs 'extra processing' at Wiri. nowhere on their online store do they warn of this situation. Still no one is able to provide an indication of delivery, other than ' you should see the order status change in a few days'. Well, its been 8 days at Wiri, one would hope so., Funny that Mecca sends and delivers the same order in 3 days or less. Guess, that's who I will be using in future. It seems in this digital online first age, Farmers is still out in the paddock.

I was served by Desmond at the Botany branch, and I must say he was exceptionally helpful. He went above and beyond to assist me with my return, making the process seamless and stress-free.

Purchased Table online. Took about 5 days for Farmers to just process the online order. Product purchased was advertised as "In Stock - For quick delivery". Was not what I call quick. If you advertise a service, make sure you live up to that service. To me quick delivery is 2-3 Days after purchase. When contacting customer support I was emailed an update with another customers name in greeting. Overall, Happy with product purchased.

Went to the Perfume sections of Farmers in St Lukes and what a pleasant experience it was. Very friendly and efficient and no rush. We just kept spending as a result and would we go back. A definite YES.

I went to the Pukekohe Farmers store, to look for some Christmas presents, and as soon as I stepped into the store I was follow by a indian women. As a maori women who owns my own business, I was so disappointed. But I must say the lady that greets you at the door was Beautiful 😍 maybe she deserves the job from that rude Indian lady!!!!

I was looking for a perfume that Farmers in Timaru didn't have in stock. The staff were absolutely fantastic , they spent at least half an hour trying to help me & gave me the contact numbers of the Farmers stores that stocked it. I contacted a Farmers store in Hastings[ which I had been given } & the staff there were equally as amazing .
I cannot recommend them both highly enough. Amazing service. Thank you.

FARMERS DO NOT DO REFUNDS IF YOU RETURN AN ITEM NEXT DAY . THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU A GIFT CARD. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD OVER THE YEARS THAT THIS IS POLICY. I BELIEVE THE STAFF MEMBER SHOULD MAKE THIS CLEAR WHEN YOU PURCHASE. WILL NOT BE HAPPY PURCHASING A LOT OF ITEMS I HAVE DONE OVER THE YEARS BECAUSE OF THIS

Customer service is terrible, spoke to a person called Vicky about a parcel that has gone to Gisborne and it's now in Christchurch even though I'm in Northland. She keeps repeating the same thing to me even though I have phoned NZ Post 3 times and been told the same thing, sure keeps repeating a totally different thing as the only option. Then tells me she hasn't even contacted NZ POST, yet keeps telling me what they need me to do... Frustrating much!

Today I visited Farmers in Henderson to purchase lingerie. Having recently been in hospital I required someone to help me. An assistant came to my aid and spent considerable time bringing me items to try on and changing them when the size wasn't quite right. Between times she had to handle customers at the counter, returning to me until I was completely satisfied and purchased my items. This young woman's name was ELAINA. She is a credit to Farmers.

Sue Ali at Slyvia Park was an outstandingly, helpful and such a personable professional sales assistance. I will return to seek her for further purchases.
