shopped at Farmers Chartwell this morning . Was greeted by a lovely girl in the mens wear dept . Had to change something She took me down to the area of clothing I was exchanging and helped me pick out the best product to buy she chatted all the way back to the counter and the exchange and price difference went thru excellent This girl named Feitei (hope I have it correct) needs to get a reward for excellent customer service . All staff in all retail shops should learn to
GREET THE CUSTOMER WITH A SMILE THEY PAY YOUR WAGES .This girl was tops in my eyes and it made me feel good instead of staff who dont want to be at work and it shows with the look on their faces but have to be .

Defamed a pregnant lady.
Farmers Sylvia park - The lady forgot to pay for 1 of the 3 items, and instead of asking her about it, they made the whole scenario as if she was shoplifting by telling her that they had seen on CCTV and she was shoplifting a $30 foundation. Although the lady was shopping around and forgot to pay for the foundation.

When asked about it, she quietly accepted the defamation, not knowing what to do and paid for the item, and left.
Did the security person think that she was running away with a cheap $30 foundation?
It's a shame that they can never catch the real thieves and can only make the innocent pregnant lady feel bad.

I bought a perfume from Farmers Sylvia Park, but my friend already had the same and I went back to return it at the same store with in an hour and they refused to give me money back.It was not $10 or $20 .It was $145 and ended up with a gift card as refund.very dispointing.Never buying anything from farmers in future.

Thames Farmers did not have the correct sized dress I required. Saleslady suggested to go online to purchase. I placed an online order Saturday 26/04/2025. By mistake I clicked on delivery to my home instead of delivery to Thames Farmers to collect.Parcels to my home get stolen. I made contact by email and 0800 phone number to be advised that they cannot change my delivery request. I asked can they cancel so I can reorder the dress . I really want the dress. I was told it is still getting ready to send. No one cares if my parcel gets stolen. No accountability no empathy. I do not recommend ordering online from Farmers

I am disgusted by the treatment customers receive from Farmers. I was treated like a thief for wanting to try on clothing. I chose to purchase elsewhere following my experience and including the shipping it was still $14.00 cheaper. I bet you let actual thieves steal all the time through sheer incompetence, but you lost 100 bucks because your staff and managers are horrible. Not to mention how filthy the carpet is in the store and the pathetic range.

It would be really good if the product stated that the cap is only useful for people with short/thin hair. Hair caps are often worn by people who have thick curly hair and often long hair and this cap is completely unsuitable for that. If you have more volume to your hair and it's a bit tight, the design of the cap is not great because the front part digs into your forehead. A lose fitting cap can still work really effectively to protect hair as I've had one before, so it doesn't need to be super tight. Please add that this is only suitable for certain hair types. Too pricey as well for its quality.

Every piece of furniture I have purchased from Farmers has been poorly made and not lasted more than a year. Terrible quality - I’m talking tv cabinet, sofa, chairs. The tv cabinet was the worst, screws not put in properly so they have broken through the wood, latches broken and unfixable. Horrible. And terrible customer service. They deny or refuse to acknowledge, but love to take my money.

My partner has cancer and i walked into porirua branch and asked to see what aftershave was available on sale and i when i went to pay fr her ck1 aftershave i burst into tears and said sorry to the lady behind the counter and said why and out the blue the lady said to the guy behind the fragerance counter give the man a nice gift and giftwrap both of them while i give the man a hug .as times like these things can be tough and after o paid for the gift i walked out happier not crying so much so i highly recommend shopping with farmers retail store in North City Plaza ******

Awful customer service. 2 weeks Non disclosure of delivery to PO boxes. Now I have to try to locate with NZ post, and at my cost to have it redirected. I will no longer shop at Farmers.

I want to take a moment to appreciate Sue Ali, who works at the YSL counter at Farmers Sylvia Park. Even though I had bought a perfume from her counter, she went way above and beyond by helping me explore other fragrances at the farmers fragrances section — even though she didn’t need to!

That awkward feeling you get when asking to try multiple perfumes? Sue immediately put me at ease with her words: “I will help you select any perfume, from the first shelf to the last. I have all the time you need from me.” And she truly meant it — I ended up trying around 20 different fragrances, and she remained incredibly patient, attentive, and kind throughout.

She didn’t just show me random options — she took the time to have warm, genuine conversations to understand my preferences and the occasion for the perfume. Her suggestions matched my taste perfectly, and she even gave honest insights into the popularity and uniqueness of different fragrances. She also helped me get the best possible deals.

Sue is truly a gem — caring, cheerful, knowledgeable, and passionate about her work. This has been hands down the best perfume shopping experience I’ve ever had, and it’s all thanks to her. This review is solely to acknowledge her outstanding service and ensure her efforts are recognised

Went in with my family to buy nursery items for my daughters on coming due date at Farmers Porirua North City Center and there was no one to help waited for awhile then a indian lady manager came walking towards us and helped us with everything needed plus getting lots of bonus feedbacks on carseats and strollers it was so fun and very good service by this manager Meena she was so bubbly and very good in person thanks farmers for the worse with no one around then to very good service at the end.

Ordered there 12cm pots online for $15 each arrived today 24/03/2025 and we're not what they seemed to b online by the pictures there so small they won't even fit a packet of noodles in them there like toys I feel like it's something that would happen on temu and when u return the item u can't get your money back only a gift card for the value of the items to spend in there shop again do not buy these pots

This is a long overdue review for the exceptional over and beyond customer service I received from Bonnie at the Farmers Kiehl’s counter Te Awa, Hamilton 😊 This lovely lady needs Management to know the heart and care factor she puts into delivering to each and every customer. I’ve suffered problematic eczema all my life and struggled to find products my sensitive skin allows. But thanks to Bonnie, I was able to try little lots of little testers and now have several Kiehl’s products I use daily. I even got a text about an up and coming Kiehl’s promotion with a gift with purchase because she had remembered me personally and knew it was a promotion that would greatly benefit me. Upon coming to that (only because of her text), not only did I receive the gift with purchase, she had gone and done an extra packaged tester kit designed for my sahara desert skin 🫶🏻🌸 She’s what I call fabulous customer service - Bonnie at Farmers The Base - 🙌🏻 Thank you

Farmers is getting way too expensive.. no wonder people opt to shop with overseas options

I recently had a fantastic experience at Farmers Sylvia Park, thanks to an amazing beauty advisor Mehenaz who really went the extra mile. She helped me understand what my skin needs using their fancy scanning machine and even treated me to a lovely facial massage with a cool facial device.

She was super helpful and nice, giving me great skincare tips and teaching me the steps I should follow. I felt so comfortable talking to her and could tell she genuinely cared about helping me.

If you're looking for awesome skincare advice and a pleasant experience, I highly recommend visiting Farmers Sylvia Park and getting her assistance. Thanks for the amazing service and making my skincare journey so enjoyable!

After just a few washes, the fabric started stretching out, and the stitching came loose. For the price, I expected much better quality. I wouldn’t recommend this bra at all

So went in today to return a tee shirt that was a Christmas present. Already have the same shirt but different colour but same size.
As it was the same size I ripped the tags off assuming that it would fit. Nope. To small.
It's taken a while to go back to return it but have receipt and original bag it came in.
It also had a small mark on the inside of the shirt. Maybe from deodorant . Who knows. Maybe it was already there from the shop.
I only tried it over my arms to know it doesn't fit. Definitely did not wear the shirt at all.
The staff at farmers Manukau were very unhelpful and quite rude. Refused to swap the shirt for something else.
I spend alot of money at farmers but not anymore. Just left the shirt on the counter and walked out pissed off.

My best advise for other shoppers: unless you are standing in the store with the item in your hands and it happens to be on an unresistable deal, just go elsewhere. Anything out of the ordinary is not possible for this company.

What is going on Farmers?
You are seriously close to loosing a life-long customer.

I’m not sure if you’ve got the memo, but in times of recession QUALITY customer service is key.
Absolutely no effort whatsoever attempted to try and help me. (This has happened on a couple of occasions now).

I’m not sure what the point in having a “customer services team” is if they are too lazy (?) to actually provide anything beyond the standard reply. Initiative, effort, attempts to assist - these are all things that would go a very long way.

I was shopping for bras in Hamilton central Farmers (which is most older womens worst thing to do!) The amazing Mel asked if she could help and proceeded to find me the most comfortable, well fitting bras that I've had for years. She was amazing and I'll certainly go back there again due to her assistance and friendliness.

Ordered on the 10th of December thinking it would get here by Christmas. Updated that my order was packed and ready on the 16th and my order is still sitting waiting to be picked up on the 19th. Was told it could take 8 days to get here once it was picked up. Delivery cut off was the 15th but that is obviously not true. Should’ve ordered earlier.
