Absolutely apalling...
I placed my order, the website clearly states all order before 1pm will be delivered next day.
They use APC Overnight as their delivery company, they are an absolutely disgusting company.
I got email updates day after day from APC Overnight to say they had delays and my delivery would be the next day and this happened four days in a row now.
All this time my order has no doubt be sitting on an unchilled vehicle rotting.
How could it be fresh fruit and vegetables four days later. this is now day 5 and still nothing.
Trying to contact exotic fruits is impossible, they don't answer the phone or return your calls.
The same with emails, I have sent them an email every day since I ordered and still not a peep out of them.
I want my money back, they are totally inept.
Useless.
It is obvious they have people connected with this company putting up fake reviews saying how great they are.
Trust me, they are NOT, don't risk losing your money.

Do not use. Didn't fulfil my order properly. Do not reply to emails or answer their phone. Use one of their competitors that have better service.

Such a great idea, I thought to myself, of getting kids eating more fruit by trying all those exotics! We had a box, then another one, then another one, and another one... Getting results that were worse and worse and worse each time. Now I am officially giving up trying as the quality of the products is constantly so-so at it's best and you will never receive the fruit that looks like on the picture. Bananas ALWAYS too unripe to eat and start to rot before they ripen most of the time. Soft fruit, such as peaches, kiwis, and persimmons, arrive damaged due to improper packaging. Rare exotics such as star apple, ice apple, mangosteens, and similar, arrive overripe and mouldy/rotten. We even had a mouldy coconut once!

The rule of the company is that you must report any damage on the day of arrival, which is understandable, but impractical from a customer’s perspective as you are unlikely to cut open every single fruit you receive on that day, so most of the time, you find out the problem just a little too late. We have learned that rule the hard way, so photographed all the visible damage straight after the fruit arrival but got scrutinised as the photos did not look bad enough and we were advised to eat some of the clearly spoiled fruit. Another thing, the compensation value, which is always £5 regardless of the actual amount of fruit that went into the bin. Last time we have spent about £80, the box was in transit for five nights (in actual transit, and two weeks from the order date), one third of the product was smashed and spoiled (not mentioning underripe fruit here which was plenty too), and we were offered a whooping £5 compensation voucher! Hooray...

There are some fruits which were consistently OK, such as granadilla, dragon fruits (yellow one is yummy), Turkish melons, papaya was fine too. Pineapples and oranges are as you would find them in Tesco, so not worth overpaying.

And, last: there are still plenty of glowing reviews, and most are because... They offer a free box if you write a 5-star review!! I almost fell for this, but decided to tell you the truth which costed me quite some £££ in lost fruit box, so I hope it was worth it and you find this review useful!

Absolutely do not order from this company. Took my £126 asked me when I would like to deliver and failed to deliver!! I ordered the fruit for a specific event. You won’t succeed with phoning them and leaving a message. They don’t bother calling back. They won’t reply to emails or social media messages. Still no product. They have my money and completely ignoring me. Shocking customer service. Scammers!!!!!!

3 weeks waiting for the delivery and nothing. Company very slow to resolve and respond to emails. I asked them to refund the order, and no money to be seen. Expensive fruit (if you eventually get it) but in my case feels like I've been scammed. Stay away.

I wish I read the reviews before ordering. £80 and all went into bin. What a waste of money. I would never buy again

Don’t waist your money and time. Parcel of exotic fruits for 50£ went to the rubbish bin straight away, some fruits was damage and over ripe, the rest I bought was under ripe, and there is no instructions that you need to keep it to get harvested for few days, and because it was 1 of each different fruits I cut them and realised you can’t eat them. They are not ready. So very very disappointed. I reported the problem and they refunded only 2£ for over ripe fruit 😀🤦🏼‍♀️ joke

I've bought two boxes now and both have been incredible! A great selection of fruit that I've never tried before. Delivery is super smooth, and the fruit comes in good condition. My only request would be to include some kind of guide in each box with pictures as to when each fruit is good to eat, as scanning a QR code for each fruit takes a while and it can be tricky when you don't know what the fruit you're about to eat is called!

Love the concept of being able to eat exotic fruit at the click of a mouse. Fruit arrived in decent condition and customer service was polite and quick to respond. Would buy again.

I came across exotic fruits UK after watching Americans eat so many fruits that I’d never even heard of and exotic fruits UK stocks all of them! I’ve been ordering fresh fruit from here since finding out about them, fruit is always fresh and delicious, never been late with deliveries!

We ordered a box of their minimum free delivery box and we spend more than that. My asian partner was been excited for the fruits to arrive. My partner was devastated how the fruits arrived in our home. Their seasonal fruit box is not worth it. Their mangoes have brownstone and also too ripe and bruised as well. They send us a banana that you couldn't eat either. The company is cunning people who wants to have Asians fruits. It's nor worth of the money. Better to buy in Chinese or Thai supermarket they have a good value and also better options. Never again to this company.

I have ordered several times and have spent a considerable amount of money. My last order contained a completely rotten custard apple. It was black, wet and truly disgusting. I was lucky it had not impacted the rest of the order.
I emailed customer services and sent some photos requesting a refund. I received a reply asking for more and clearer photos and showing me cutting to show the inside. Presumably my iPhone photos are not good enough for them!
I replied and explained that the rotting piece of fruit was naturally in the bin and they already had photos. Are they really suggesting that I am trying to defraud them for the cost of a custard apple?
I’m astonished that they treat repeat customers in such a way. It’s a very foolish policy as I certainly won’t be ordering again. Looking at other reviews it is clear I am not alone. I would be extremely concerned about obtaining a refund if there was a more significant issue. Avoid.

The box of fruit was so fun to go through with the family and try. I especially love tamarillo. The only thing is the courier asked for my name when dropping off the box, when it was my husbands name. And so he wouldn’t give me the parcel, it was delivered the following day but everything had gone soft by then.

Just used Exotic fruits for the first time and was very impressed. Ordered on a Friday, received on a Tuesday, much quicker than I expected. It was a treat for my partner which I shared of course!
Loved the Mangosteen, it’s the best we’ve had! I’ll be back to place an order again very soon! Thanks

I recently purchased a box from exotic fruit for my Mother and it was the best gift I could give her, my mother is from East Africa and she said while she was eating the fruits she felt like a “little girl back in her home town” it was an emotional and beautiful experience I didn’t expect:) I will definitely be purchasing again thank you so much ☺️

Such a shame the fruit stock is getting worse every order, customer service is non existent now too. I bought egg fruit which I love but was unripe and off for the second time. Also bought an ice apple, having never tried it before and it looking nothing like the images online, nore having anything but hard seeds and a stringy interior I emailed exotic fruits to ask if any of it is edible. That was Tuesday it's now Saturday and still no reply. Not the first time emails haven't been replied to.

Fruits arrived rotton! I ordered quite a variety of fruits and it came in a flimsy box and poorly packaged. So badly that the papaya was all bruised and squished by the time it got to me. My 3 chayotes I ordered was rotton from outside to inside.
I've emailed them regarding this and have had no reply from them, I've called them up but no one picks up the phone. I advise NOT to order from them, and to find elsewhere to get exotic fruits.

I would give 0 stars if I could! Worse experience ever, fruit arrived rotten, smashed and in unacceptable condition.. had to throw it away… I’ve meiled them several times with pictures supporting my claim and asking for a refund.. They refused… it seems they have send me a few pieces of fruit but not the whole order almos £95 and this was 2 days ago haven’t received anything yet… so let’s see.. anyway I won’t be buying ever again and I highly recommend you to buy fruits from another company.

Fast delivery and fruits were good quality. Dragon fruits were lovely and flavourful, peaches were a little hard but I understand they are a bit out of season. I definitely want to try other fruits!
