Login issues in all browsers
Login issues for two days in a row. I spent two hours on the phone with two agents. One said that if I reset my password I have to enter everything in UPPERCASE "for security reasons". Use Chrome only. Pardon me? The second one said that any popular browser is OK, but I have to turn off my VPN even if my "location" is in Ontario. So far only Edge works, the other browsers stay on the login page for hours.

i am having trouble logging into my account today. I called the help line and i was told my addresses don't match their system. This is the first time this has happened to me after being a client for many years. I have now been on hold for 45 minutes waiting for a supervisor. Ridiculous.
Equifax is criminal - 1 year nightmare
Equifax should not be allowed to report credit. What they are doing to people is criminal. I have been dealing with them for just over 1 year to fix 1 item on my file that they have been incorrectly reporting. Causing my score to continue to dive. I sent the same info to TransUnion and they fixed on the 1st try.
I have sent over 100 emails to Equifax, Bank of Montreal, various complaint platforms with escalations to each. I have also had to submitted my complete dispute 8 times to Equifax and there was always an excuse why they would just close the file without correcting. Even though I was told multiple times they had all the information they needed to change the file.
I spoke on the phone with them over 50 times. Supervisors, escalations more forms.
I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau a few weeks ago and they came through and got it all fixed for me.
If I could give Equifax a negative star I would. They should be charged criminally.

I wish you could give negative stars. Logging in is an issue. They say its their technical error but never fix it. Asked for a supervisor twice. Each time they said there was one beside them but then put me on hold for over 30min. Don't buy there service, you will regret it as I do. I am canceling ASAP. I tried Borrowell its free but has ads but at least I can get answers when I need them.

Invited registration including sensitive ID information
Created new login registration and invited 2nd-step passcode to smartphone, but then, disaster:
1) no way to enter the passcode on the (Firefox) website page itself;
2) tried a new login and stuck on a blank page
3) tried to report issues using chat bot. Got kicked out by clicking on a tab
4) Have not yet tried total reboot of my windows 11, or attempt to login using smartphone itself.
5) It this is legitimate, it is howlingly-bad.

I tried to cancel a subscription today twice with two reps and had nothing but harassment trying to do this, sarcastic attitude and never ending verification questions...even when I answered at least 7.. they still asked more
The rep by the name of (Kett employee #159) Should be fired... immediately I repeatedly asked for a supervisor and was denied one until... I answered the verification questions...!

Terrible Customer service. I went to their website and sent in their form to dispute something on my credit file. They then respond and tell me I have to go to their website and fill out the form... which is EXACTLY what I did. Over a month this has been going on. Use Transunion. Not Equifax. This company is garbage.

Wrong information
2022-11-17 I've accessed my free credit report, found incorrect info (unknown addresses) that are impacting my access to other credit items. I've submitted a dispute 3 times, and my address is still wrong. How did that info get on my report in the first place? To change anything, a passport and driver's license has to be submitted.
Doesn't exactly inspire confidence....
There should be an option to cancel on the website, not having to call in and get upsold to! It doesn't exactly inspire confidence to have to spout a bunch of personal info to a stranger over the phone, especially since Equifax itself had a data breach a few years ago.
The whole experience just made me nervous.

I guess overall, not bad? Heavily priced for mediocre service at best… extremely annoying to try and cancel this membership…Ironically enough, you can sign up online but you cannot cancel online…Instead they make you call a number, jump hoops where they pitch 50% discount if you continue with their service…they try to use fear and prevent you from cancelling….and not sure but it sounds like the call centre was not in Canada, despite Equifax using Canada in their description! You’re better off to call once a year and get your free report or use another service… They should not be profiting off my information
Worst - No online cancellation
They charge customers heavy and I guess they use them for their software development, but they do not have an option to cancel our subscription online. They think customer can wait an hour in call or people will be lazy to call to cancel it many times. So, Equifax needs a free money from clients which is a worst service. They may say that it is for security reasons, when we upload our credit card details for them to take our own money, security is not a concern for them. because they get the money. And only when we cancel the service, security is a big concern for them. what a worst thought process from their product team.

Too bad there is not a zero star available. Signed up for the family plan so I could get protection for my 87-year-old father who is both hearing and visually impaired. After both of us talked to Equifax for four weeks they informed me that they could not sign him up as they could not confirm his identity. What a joke. A once proud Canadian company outsourced to the same country where the biggest scam centers are located. Ironic The call center did not even try to help retain me as a customer by helping they just went ahead and cancelled the service. I will keep checking to see if I keep getting billed by these fraudsters. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!

I cannot print report and no where it says that one cannot print any more. I have cancelled the services. Lets hope I get a refund. I am scared reading reviews that reps are not helping customers with the refunds and its taking months.

Will charge you repeatedly after cancelling
I called to cancel their services back in May. They fraudulently charged my card for June so I called again and they promised I would get a refund and assured me that my account was cancelled. I still have not received this refund. I have called to follow up several times, and each time I am told "the request has been expedited". Now today I have a fraudulent charge for July. I call and they don't help, I ask for a supervisor to talk to, they say he's busy and will call back in 30 minutes, it's now been 2 hours. Always an excuse. Earlier today when I called I was told that the "system was undergoing an update". I'm done dealing with these people. I have had my credit card company dispute these charges and put a block on them charging me further. Don't sign up, you will regret it. Ironic how the company thats supposed to protect you from fraud is actually committing fraud.

Since my last review ( September 3, 2021) a couple of tickets was created. The last time Equifax support disconnected upon me. Time to call equifax support again. Soon it will be a year since I can not log in to my equifax account.

My experience for now is zero stars. 2-3 months ago I stopped being able to log to my equifax account although I was on 19.95 monthly monitoring plan. I got notified by equifax that my address has been changed but I still was not able to log in to my account. "We are temporarily unable to complete this request" is showings since June/July or so when I am trying to log in. I was contacting support by phone around four times and still I am unable to log in. I will be calling equifax on Monday again and again speaking with one of their employees promising they will fix the issue. It is a shame that company for some lack of corporate ethics or ability is unable to provide proper service being in monopolistic position at the same time."

They changed their format months ago and I CAN NOW never log in.They said I must have lost my own login I.D.. THEY HUNG UP 2 TIMES ON ME ALREADY.

Second dispute, but very bad experience !!!
This is second time that Equifax mistakenly has an account under my name but it actually belongs to someone else, however, it is blocking/impacting my mortgage application. I claimed a dispute to them 3 weeks ago and at that moment was told it was put on higher priority and should be fixed within 5 business days, However, day after day, and 15 business days already, it is still not fixed yet. Every time I called them to follow-up, and the same response to me saying, it is in progress and will take another 24 or 48 hours. Oh, man, I feel they just put my case off over and over again, and no any explanation on where the issue is exactly. I am thinking to complaint to Consumer Protection. So bad experience, frankly speaking.
