Interesting biology material and great teacher and explanations.

The mentors went into great detail with the concepts and were open to questions. The class was very interactive and enjoyable and the material was interesting. The projects are also very interactive. Overall, an amazing course! Highly recommend it!

I liked how much content there was, but sometimes I did think it was overwhelming. Especially since the program was only 2 weeks.

Elio Academy provided me with a great opportunity to participate in an interactive classroom and create an independent research project. The class gave me a good background on neuroscience, which would be helpful to me in the future and as a career.

I was given a format and a general structure to start my research along with an instructor to be able to consult with and was given a lot of help with finding resources. While I think there is always room for improvement I was given the time and resources to do my own research and that was a valuable experience.

I had a great experience in this neuroscience program, which combined learning about the brain with doing real scientific research. The lessons gave me a good understanding of neuroanatomy, neural signaling, and neurological disorders, and the project helped me apply what I learned to real research questions. My instructor was supportive, knowledgeable, and encouraged us to think critically. I would definitely recommend it to students who are interested in neuroscience, biology, or medicine.

I learned a lot about the basics of neuroscience in my course; however, I wasn't a fan on staying on zoom the whole day listening to a slideshow. To improve student experiences I think that students should be able to collaborate more throughout the course.

I got to dive deeper in topics that I was interested in and topics that are related to neuroscience. I also got to learn more about ways researches do experiments in real life. It helped me build my attention span, focus, and not procrastinate.
