My experience with Ed Ex was outstanding! Alex and Josh were attentive and supportive and I felt truly supported throughout! The onboarding process was thorough, and I felt well-prepared for my trial day. Their ongoing support made all the difference.

Although starting promisingly, my advisor only ever offered me one placement opportunity. After agreeing to try it out, she then did not respond to me for several days until she eventually told me the school had no funding to take on new staff. I completely understand that this was out of the agency's control, but she followed this up by suggesting that I look elsewhere for work since 'these things take time', and suggested different agencies to join.

I have not had any correspondence with the company since, despite my advisor promising to continue looking for opportunities for me. I feel as though they just wanted me to pay for the DBS check and leave.

At first everything was smooth sailing, was told that the agency was confident they would find a position for me. Later abandoned, not offered a single job from EdEx. Decided to take matters into my own hands and found my ideal job within my desired school on my own. To anyone reading this, have confidence in yourself, apply to schools directly on Tes. It's also better to apply to schools directly, you are paid over 12 months and opportunities for progression are avaliable as your employed directly by the school. EdEx is not needed.

Maddie and James were a total pleasure to work with! Super communicative, always supportive, and my preferences/skills were taken into account every step of the way. James provided a ton of information on prospective schools too, which helped make a difficult decision-making process a little easier. Finding work was fast and easy, it took about 2 weeks from application to trial to offer. Plus, the role I ultimately secured has proven fun and rewarding - totally exceeding my already high expectations!

Can't praise this team enough! Alex and George helped me find a fantastic local opportunity as a Teaching Assistant in a School. They have been friendly and professional and worked on finding me this role literally within the same week of applying to the advertisement on Indeed. The onboarding process was quick and easy and I felt very well informed by these agents to be ready for my trial day at the school and also how to make a good impression at the interview. I have been so impressed with every element of my experience with EdEx. Holly, George, Ryan and Alex have all been incredibly supportive and found the perfect place for me. I never once felt like just agency staff at the school I was placed in. After a bad trail day prior to that, the staff at EdEx supported me immensely and were so reassuring. I am a university student who was looking for a Placement in education. Applied to many jobs but this experience with EdEx is unmatched. Within 24 hours of submitting my application, I received an invite to talk to Josh about my interests and a week later I was filling out my DBS and received the best support from the team. Before I knew it Josh, Ryan and Charlie all had schools in mind for me and set up a trial day for me which was very successful. I applied one Monday and by Tuesday I’d already received a reply and a call. The staff have been so lovely and supportive along the way. I’ve mostly communicated with Alex and George. They are so clear and transparent in all the information they give me. When I start my position next week, which was exactly what I was looking for, I feel excited and know exactly what I can expect. I’ve always been able to contact either of them and not feel inconvenient or a bother. The experience without a doubt has been one of the smoothest and clearly set out ones I’ve ever had looking for a job. They never tried to “sell” me a position, they made sure to find one that was the most suited towards me and for that, I’m so thankful. I’m beyond impressed and grateful with my experience so far. I think this agency is a great stepping stone into an education career path.
