I am so grateful to Charlie, who was super supportive and attentive throughout the process and helped me to secure a role at a great school. She was always quick to reply to any queries I had and provided me with really useful tips to help me to prepare for my trial day at the school.

I connected with Ryan just before the summer holidays and he very quickly found me a temporary position and made it clear he would try and find me something more long term in the new academic year. Even for the temporary position I felt supported along the entire process, Ryan regularly updated me and give me tips on the interview process. He also did a phenomenal job of understanding my situation and what it is I was looking for long term. Every job he found for me was very relevant and appropriate for my situation. Once the new academic year had started he put me in the very capable hands of Josh, one of his team members. Josh again went above and beyond when helping me secure a role and was even messaging me late into the evening the night before my interview for the role. Something he didn’t have to do but chose to do because he is that dedicated. The position he found is perfect for me and what I wanted, I’m so grateful for all their support and would genuinely recommend anyone that is looking for work in schools to connect with them, as you would be in great hands that will find you the best role for you.

I have had a fantastic experience with EdEx. I applied for a teaching assistant position, and I have since been placed in it. I normally have a cynical view about recruitment services but have nothing but good things to say about EdEx, in particular George.

It took a week from me first messaging them to them securing an interview with a school which matched all my criteria. It was clear from the get go that George had actually read my CV in detail and had listened to and understood my requirements during the initial interview. Not only this this, but he also had a good knowledge of local schools and their hiring processes and requirements in detail. At no point was I pressured to make any decisions and was treated as a person throughout (which was hugely appreciated coming off the back of a stressful PGCE year).

I've since recommended them to many of my teacher friends.

I spoke to George a few terms before I handed in my notice. He really look the time to listen to what I was looking for, understand the role I was currently in, and get to know me. Honestly the whole recruitment service was 10/10. It was smooth from the get-go. EdEx made the process of applying, interviewing and looking for a new role seem less. Everyone at the company is really friendly and well organised, I never had to chase anything or wait for a response. I ended up securing a really exciting new role that I am really pleased about. If I was going to go through the recruitment process again I would always go to EdEx.
