I recently completed the Business Management Essentials certificate through eCornell, and it exceeded my expectations.

As a Pharmacy Technician in healthcare operations and someone involved in managing a small service business, I found the program highly practical and immediately applicable to my daily work. The courses covered leadership, communication, organizational culture, strategy, innovation, and business decision-making in a way that connected theory with real-world situations.

What I appreciated most was the project-based learning format. Rather than simply reading about concepts, I was challenged to analyze my own work environments, identify opportunities for improvement, and apply what I learned directly to professional situations.

The instructors provided thoughtful feedback, and the content was well organized, engaging, and relevant across industries. The program helped me strengthen my business knowledge, improve my strategic thinking, and gain confidence in pursuing future leadership and operations-focused opportunities.

I would highly recommend eCornell to working professionals looking to expand their business skills while balancing a full-time career.

I thought the experience was great all the way around. I received above and beyond when I came to educational content. Not just the course material but the access to Workshops and Keynotes that I took advantage of. Additionally I found the engagement with my facilitators and cohort extremely valuable. The content was easily found and navigated. The communication and notifications were extremely helpful.
The downloadable frameworks and course transcripts were of tremendous help and value.
Excellent experience overall that I would recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience with eCornell and would highly recommend it. The courses were engaging, informative, and provided high-quality content that challenged me in a meaningful way. The workload was rigorous, but it pushed me to think critically and helped me gain valuable knowledge and skills.

One of my favorite aspects of the program was the opportunity to interact with classmates. Being able to discuss ideas, share perspectives, and learn from others made the experience much more enriching. I was also impressed by how much many of the professors genuinely cared about student success. One instructor even provided personalized video feedback on assignments, which made the course feel much more interactive and supportive.

I also appreciated the flexibility of the program. Being able to complete coursework at my own pace made it manageable alongside my other commitments. Overall, I found the experience extremely rewarding and plan to enroll in more eCornell courses in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed this certificate course. The curriculum was delivered at an excellent pace, offering clear instruction while remaining challenging enough to stay engaging. Through this program, I was able to learn new concepts and formalize current professional practices that I previously lacked the formal terminology for. This course has significantly helped me refine my leadership skills, and I would highly recommend it

I needed to learn more about investing our retirement accounts so I was very glad to find this course online.

2 of the courses were particularly helpful for me, Portfolio Management Essentials and Evaluating Stocks. The course facilitators responded to my questions and I learned a lot from the recorded lectures and projects.

Each of the 4 courses that were bundled together for a certificate lasted 2 weeks. I thought that it was a little challenging to complete the assignments at a time when I was very busy at work. However, you are given 2 years to complete them and scheduling was pretty easy.

My experience was very positive and I gained some valuable knowledge.

Earning and completing my Frontline Skills certificate at eCornell was one of the best decisions I made to pursue expanding my skills on leadership. The course worked cohesively with my lifestyle and gave me skills I could adopt immediately into my career and personal life. I’m very happy with the Financial Success for Nonprofits certificate program. The coursework was practical, well organized, and directly relevant to the financial challenges nonprofit organizations face. I especially appreciated the focus on budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as the clear explanations of concepts that can often feel intimidating. The instructors presented the material in a way that was accessible and engaging, and the program provided tools and frameworks that I can immediately apply in my work. Overall, it was a valuable professional development experience that strengthened my confidence and skills in nonprofit financial management.

I thought the program was well curated and it was easy to navigate around both my university course and work due to its easy class sign up. The courses themselves were informative and did help me gain a lot of different perspectives. The only reason I rate the program 4 out of 5 is because in the growing age of technology and ai it’s easy to have a set script and read off a teleprompter. Which made the pre recorded videos feel slightly less personal especially from such qualified professors like the ones at Cornell. In the future maybe relating back to personal life experiences could possibly make the sessions feel more personal.

I really enjoyed my experience with Cornell’s Business Strategy program and am very glad I chose Cornell for this certification. The program was exceptionally well organized, and the course content was both engaging and highly relevant. I am confident that many of the concepts and frameworks I learned will be valuable not only in my professional work but also in my personal endeavors.

I particularly enjoyed Professor Johnson’s lectures. His explanations were clear, engaging, and insightful, and the real-world examples he incorporated helped bring the material to life and made complex concepts easier to understand and apply.

One aspect of the course that I especially appreciated was how thought-provoking many of the assignments were. They encouraged me to think strategically, challenge my assumptions, and approach problems from different perspectives. Rather than simply focusing on theory, the assignments pushed me to apply concepts to real-world situations and think outside the box.

A special thank you to two of my course facilitators, John Martin and Noor Ashouri, who were outstanding throughout the program. They provided thoughtful and timely feedback, were always quick to answer questions, and created an engaging learning environment where students felt encouraged to participate and share ideas. Their energy, responsiveness, and genuine investment in student success made a meaningful difference in my experience and contributed greatly to the overall quality of the program.

I would also like to recognize the student support team. Whenever I had questions throughout the process, they were consistently responsive, professional, and courteous. Their willingness to help made the experience much less stressful, and I greatly appreciated the support they provided.

If I were to offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to make the student portal a bit more user-friendly and intuitive to navigate. That said, this was a relatively minor issue and did not detract from my overall experience with the program.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and grateful for the knowledge, skills, and perspectives I gained throughout the course. I would absolutely consider Cornell for future certifications and would not hesitate to recommend the program to others.

It was a helpful program. the technology was easy to use. content was at the right depth and the teacher feedback was personalized and helpful.

Design of AI Solutions with Lutz Finger

I'm grateful to have had incredible teachers - and Lutz Finger is certainly one of the best professors I've ever had.

His class left with a strong understanding and ability to practically apply ML and AI to create value. The depth was incredible, and I enjoyed putting in the work to get everything I could out of it.

Beyond his class, he takes a personal and genuine interest in his students. His time is valuable and he is busy, but will always find a moment to support his students and their interests.

Lutz Finger is easily one of the best professors I’ve had. I took his class Designing and Building AI Solutions and his workshop Building AI Agents, and both were among the most valuable parts of my program.

I came into the class already interested in AI, but Professor Finger helped sharpen the way I think about it. What made him stand out was how dynamic he was. I enjoyed bringing him difficult questions about AI, agents, business applications, limitations, and where the technology is heading. He would take those questions seriously, research them further, and often build future discussions around them. That made the class feel alive instead of static.

He does not teach AI as a buzzword or a slide-deck topic. He teaches it as something you design, build, test, question, and apply. His courses connected technical architecture, business value, implementation, and strategy in a way that felt directly useful. He pushed us to think clearly about what problem we were solving, why AI was the right tool, and what it would take to make the solution work in the real world.

The Building AI Agents workshop was especially strong. It gave a practical view of how agents are built, where they are useful, where they break down, and how to think about them beyond the hype.

Professor Finger is engaging, current, and genuinely intellectually curious. He brings real experience and strong insight into the classroom, but he also responds to where the conversation is going. That made his classes feel relevant, challenging, and unusually practical. I would strongly recommend any class or workshop taught by him.

I recently completed the Restaurant Revenue Management course through eCornell and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The course materials were very well laid out and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the way we worked through the different models. It made complex concepts clear and practical. I have no constructive criticism to offer. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the course and would highly recommend it to anyone in the hospitality industry looking to sharpen their revenue management skills. I am looking forward to putting what I have learnt into practice.
