This company will try to rob you, avoid!
This company stole £715 ($900) from me in May 2020 when covid hit.
Despite a travel ban from UK to USA, they charged my card the full rental amount even though I had emailed to cancel. Like others on here they gave me worthless store credit which I never used as the US border was shut for 20 months. Cannot get a reply from their so called customer services department, but they did manage to put together an 8-page document when I contacted Amex. Amex were only able to refund the deposit, so in fact I could have been a lot worse off. I think this company just relies on the fact that there aren’t too many options location wise but I would urge potential customers to look elsewhere if possible so as not to be left out of pocket.
Biker read it before you book!
Don't believe my words: Pick up the phone and try to contact his people, you are not going to make it. Try to send them an email., you are not going to make either. If you try to make any changes to a reservation 25 days before the pick up day good luck, you get a store credit that you are never going to use in your life because you don't want to see these people again! Fellow bikers, they are not part of the group, trust me. This are the ones that drive by you in the highway when you are in trouble and don't stop!
Club Eagledider - Thieves
Same as most others - such a shameful thieving company. 0 empathy. But they sure do love to quote terms and policy. As a Canadian it has been impossible to travel the last couple of years, but they refused to do anything to work with me to help me at least get some value for my credits. Nope - their stance: too bad you can’t travel, but you need to keep paying. Pandemic be damned.
And then yesterday, got a cool email - as a “charter member” we get to have our credits devalued by up to 67%! Bikes that used to be 1 credit are, as of today with no notice, 2 or 3 credits. Just like that. On top of the of all the ridiculous fees and honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced (consistently) with any company ever, I don’t see how someone can get value from this outfit anymore not even considering the impossibility to travel to a location to use those now almost worthless credits.
As a top tier member in a few global hospitality programs (airlines, hotel, car) used to certain levels of service, it is more than a little jarring dealing with these crooks.
Do yourselves a favour - stay far away from Club EagleRider.
Same thing like others
Same thing like others. Trip canceled due to pandemic. No refund only a store credit which I could not use because travel was still banned to the US. I made a new reservation before the expiry of the store credit, but still cannot travel, so again I claimed my over 600 dollars back, and now they claim I already used it for the reservation. Shameful customer service in this pandemic situation as there were no costs on their side which would justify to hold back the deposit and this was not the customers who canceled their trips, but the US government banned tourist flights.
A MES AMIS MOTARDS, FUYEZ CE SERVICE !
Ne rembourse pas si vous annulez, a éviter absolument !!
waiting for refund since 18 months
still waiting a refund of 617$ for a ride which never took place in April 2020 due to the pandemic and the USA being close to foreigners until Aug 2021 !

I had them for 2 years
I had them for 2 years. At first, it was good. The last year the rentals were simply not worth the price. They add so many fees there’s no way you’d wanna rent a bike from them. If you’re gonna rent a bike for a few days once a year just rent it without eagle rider….you can’t use more than 3 credits at a time anyways. You will still get hosed with fees. At least you don’t have to get hosed with fees 4-6 times per year just to use up the credits you have already paid for. Then, when you cancel at the end of your subscription, you lose the credits. There is literally no point in someone getting this program. They 100% win. You 100% lose. I wouldn’t rent a bike from them again if they restored all of my credits. Either way I would get hosed. Avoid this company. Brent Stewart Lake Villa, IL
Not the company they used to be… now unresponsive and thieving
Changed reservation well in advance to return rental 1 day early. Eaglerider still charged me for the day I didn’t use. I’m a charter member of Eaglerider, and am of the opinion they d gone way downhill. Do not respond to online request or phone calls. Doubled number of credits required for a day’s rental. Charging me for a day I didn’t use I’d the last straw.
Poor Service
Poor Service
Booked a 4 day Ducati rental out of Boston, flew up from NYC for the ride.
Arrived at local dealer for pick up and the rental Ducati had a broken clutch lever, cracked windscreen and bash guards that were literally taped onto the bike. Not the way you want a trip to start.
2 days into the ride NE was hit by Hurricane Henri, my house in NY was flooded and I had to end the trip and return home.
Eagle Rider refused to make any accommodations for the early bike return in Boston. Eagle Rider rep took on a condescending tone on the phone when I called looking for some help sorting the early drop. Had nothing to offer in solving the issues I was having.
Ended up riding to the drop location, visiting a mechanic operating across the street who was able to contact the shop owner and for $40 he took the keys to the bike for return.
Ive been on tours and made rentals from Baja Mexico to Morocco and haven’t ever encountered such poor service in a motorcycle rental company. Complete inability to solve a simple business problem, poor condition of rental equipment. (would have taken an hour to replace the clutch lever, screen and bash guard)
Would not recommend Eagle Rider to anyone in my community.
Total scam of a company
I was active duty military for 2 years deploying, paying into Eagle Rider hoping that when I got back home I could rent some motorcycles and use the credits up. I have been trying to book motorcycles through Eaglerider multiple times and was either told that the location doesn't honor the Eaglerider credits, or I was loaded up with so many fees on the rental that I can't even afford to use the credits. And of course if you try and cancel instead of continuing to pay in and pay in you lose all your credits. This business model is a total scam and I regret paying into this so much. Lost years of credits because I just can't afford to use them. This company has caused me so much frustration and disappointment.
Thank you EagleRider LA for a great…
Thank you EagleRider LA for a great experience! This was my first time booking with EagleRider. My two brothers took a self guided tour through LA, Palm Springs, and San Diego. We saw national forests, hot springs, beautiful sunsets and the oceanside. Highly recommend this route, perfect 3 day getaway!
The staff at EagleRider was extremely helpful and professional when we were selecting bikes. They also suggested different routes and how to avoid traffic. The bikes were also in great condition. I would happily book with them again.
A friend of mine and myself both rented…
A friend of mine and myself both rented from Eagle rider in San Antonio Texas. We booked the bikes 30 days in advance the original trip was going to be four days. We ended up changing it to three days EagleRider had no problem with that we gave them three weeks advance notice on the change. EagleRider assured us that they would refund the fourth day Which has never happened we made numerous phone calls and just to be put off. The manager of eagle rider in San Antonio Texas told me that eagle rider was the worst company in the world to do business with. With that he said good luck trying to get your money back. I wish I would have read reviews before I rented from them they are by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
I had the worst experience with Eagle…
I had the worst experience with Eagle Rider. They took my money, but didn’t provide me with any customer service or help. I’m still running after them. 😡
Eagle Rider stole my money
What a ripoff! I'm on the same boat as others here. I made a reservation with Eagle Rider and after cancelling my reservation, now i don't have a way to get my money back since they won't give me a refund. Will never buy anything from this guys again, ever.
I'm going to open a dispute with my bank and will take legal action if needed.
Beware of Eaglerider
I subscribed to Eaglerider for a year and a half. I booked a bike that I was told would be available for my long planned vacation, and when time came to tighten up the reservation, the bike was not available.
Since part of the trip, a major part, was to ride this bike, I tried to cancel the trip. I received a big "No can do" from Eaglerider.
Despite COVID, they aren't doing refunds for cancelled rides, this is part of their conditions when you sign up. Beware! Any money you send to them is lost forever.
They are a horror to work with, needing dozens of phone calls, threats, cajoling and much lost stomach lining to accomplish the slightest thing.
I work in customer service, and we work to make people happy. Eaglerider operates in the exact opposite manner.
Grossly Overcharge for Minor Repairs!
I rented a bike from EagleRider for 8 days, during which I managed to drop it (not moving) and broke the front right turn indicator as well as the end of the front brake lever (when I picked up the bike, the end of the clutch lever was broken off already). When I brought the bike back, Eagle Rider charged my credit card $5000 for the above broken parts (which retail for less than $110 total for genuine Triumph parts, which I doubt they will even use)! The guy said it was EagleRider's policy to charge $5000 up front, no matter how minor the damage. EagleRider subsequently refunded about $4580 to my credit card, resulting in a repair charge of over $420 to replace parts that retail for less than $110! I think that was grossly excessive. If you rent from EagleRider, expect to be overcharged for anything broken. Moreover, expect to burn up at least $5,000 of your credit line while EagleRider decides how much to overcharge you!
booked a bike a month in advance and…
booked a bike a month in advance and when i drove there "50 miles" was told it was over booked and i was out of luck ...
TOTAL RIP OFF !!!!!!
A total rip off is right!!!! They just stole $168.21 from me. Booked and paid for a rental up front but couldn't make the trip. Told me i have a credit but now won't honor it. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.
RIP OFF ALERT!!!!!!
This company is a total rip off!!! I booked a bike unaware at the time that a Motorcycle license is now required. (I'm Oldskool and haven't rented a bike ever, just owned them for 25 years)
I attempted to cancel and was initially assured they would by a rep. In the end I got back a pretty nasty response from their customer service person stating it was all my fault and too bad for not knowing about needing a license.
I told them that info is not clearly stated before rental and so too bad, we're taking your cash anyway.
This is not the kind of service I would ever have expected from anything to do with Harley Davidsons brand.
Born To Be Wild? Fuggeddaboutit!!! Born to get ripped off more like it.
WARNING Read this before renting
I saved for many years to take the trip of a lifetime and ride across America from coast to coast. The rental bike came from EagleRider. A third of the way into the trip I hit a lump of concrete on the road. Somehow I didn’t fall off, though I did wreck the front wheel.
I paid EagleRider a total of $3820.71 for a 19-day hire. Of this $1234.34 (32%) was for 3 separate insurance policies (the highest possible level of cover). So I was shocked when the Harley dealer I was towed to said EagleRider had instructed them, to take the bike off me. It seems in spite of my insurances, that by hitting the lump of concrete in the road, I had invalidated my contract with EagleRider. I pleaded that they were leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country. EagleRider said if I'd read the 10 pages of terms and conditions sent to me after booking (not the ones on the website) I would know that this was their policy. The insurance was to cover their bike, not my booking with them.
To continue my planned trip, I had to make a completely new hire agreement with EagleRider and pay for a new rental bike. I acknowledge that eventually, I was able to get a 70% reduction on the second hire, but only after prolonged negotiation with EagleRider.
If you are thinking about a road trip with EagleRider, you should be aware there is no way you can you protect yourself from EagleRider cancelling your contract in the event that you have an accident which leaves the bike unrideable.
Think very carefully before using this company and ask them, when booking ‘what happens to your EagleRider contract in the event you have an accident immobilizing the bike’. Most of all make sure you read both sets of terms and conditions!
The EagleRiders website may have lots of pictures of smiling bikers punching the air in joy but this company has no moral compass and their corporate greed is more important than their customer's welfare.
