Worst experience ever!!!

Here our case:

We planned our West Pacific Coast Road from Seattle to Los Angles December 2025. We made a reservation for 2 Softails for 15 days and paid the "Model Guarantee" fee for each bike. Saying this, Eaglerider had 7 month time to prepare the bikes we paid for. 4 weeks and 3 weeks before the tour was supposed to start we reached out to Eaglerider if everything is going as planned. We never received a reply. 3 days before we left Germany, we received the information that we are not getting what we paid for. We are getting Street Glides...bikes we definitely didn't want!!! In Seattle we got told that those would be the better bikes for that tour. Who is Eaglerider to tell us what's better for us??? We paid in addition and still didn't get what we paid for, even Eaglerider had 7 month to get things organized!!!
We dropped the bikes at the last day couple of hours late and Eaglerider charged us a full day in addition.

Saying this...Eaglerider expects full flexibility from their customers, but doesn't show the same to their customers.

We got told that the model guarantee fee will be reimbursed. Now, 4 weeks later, we still didn't receive the refund!!!

It was our 3rd tour with Eaglerider and probably the last...

The trip was for each of us 13.000$ and it started with a kick in the nuts by Eaglerider and ended the same way!!!

Wenn andere Leute unzufrieden sind, so kann ich das nicht verstehen.
Ich habe 2 Street-Glide Touring-Edition bereits 1 Jahr vor unserer Tour über die Route 66 bestellt.
Als wir um 09:00 Uhr ankamen, standen unsere Maschinen schon bereit.
Eine kurze Einweisung, ein paar Unterschriften und nach ca.30-45 Minuten sind wir losgefahren.
Kurz zum Hotel, unsere Seesäcke auf dem Rücksitz verstaut und es ging los.
Als ich auf 2/3 der Stecke am Hinterrad einen Platten bekam, wurde mir sehr schnell geholfen.
EAGLERIDER hat sich um alles gekümmert.
Nach circa 1 Stunde kam der Abschleppwagen, hat die Harley aufgeladen und mich zum nächsten Harley-Händler in Victorville CA 92395 gebracht.
Dort wurde ein neuer Hinterreifen montiert und nach ca. 2 Stunden ging es weiter.
Wir haben in den 3 Wochen 3.769 Meilen gefahren und die Maschinen waren in tadellosem Zustand!
Die Rückgabe in Los Angeles war in sehr kurzer Zeit erledigt.
Alles in Allem:
Ein sehr guter Service und sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
Nächste Tour dann wieder mit EAGLERIDER !

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
If other people are dissatisfied, I just can’t understand it.
I ordered two Street Glide Touring Edition motorcycles a year before our Route 66 tour.
When we arrived at 9:00 a.m., our bikes were already waiting for us.
A quick briefing, a few signatures, and after about 30-45 minutes, we were on our way.
We stopped briefly at the hotel, stowed our duffel bags on the back seat, and hit the road.
When I got a flat tire on the rear wheel about two-thirds of the way through the trip, I received help very quickly.
EAGLERIDER took care of everything.
After about an hour, the tow truck arrived, loaded the Harley, and took me to the nearest Harley dealer in Victorville, CA 92395.
There, a new rear tire was installed, and after about two hours, we were back on the road.
We rode 3,769 miles over the three weeks, and the bikes were in impeccable condition!
The return process in Los Angeles was completed very quickly.
All in all:
Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff.
Next tour—we’ll be riding with EAGLERIDER again!

Third time I have gone to different stores and had issues. Two times in Seattle, bike was not available even after confirmation. Offered another bike that had a flat battery. Once in Las Vegas, I understood this one, another rider crashed the MT09, but they did not reach out and let us know. One other rental in New Orleans was great. Seattle is a waste of time.

Out from the UK picking up a Road Glide from Eagle Rider in New Orleans. Pick up was fine except there were hidden charges which I am trying to sort out with the holiday agent to see on the validity of them. The bike's gearbox broke a few days into the hire and I limped it to Nashville to swap it (with no issues) to a far better bike. Then I was warned a few days before drop off the Eagle Rider shop at end of trip was closed so had to travel quite a way further to drop it off. Having said that I was offered another day's rental at no charge and my resulting extensive Uber ride was re-imbursed. In other words a mixed bag but Tim at Eagle Rider New Orleans was amenable, kept me informed and I generally had a great ride.

So many hidden fees, more than double the price of the other rental options, uncomfortable , stock bikes, membership scam that just takes your money and gives you a small portion back to make you keep returning but never getting your credits back.
I went to riders share after and was completely impressed ! Saved more than double without all the crap with eagle rider.

EagleRider exceeded my expectations! Renting a motorcycle from Canada was easy, and the team made sure I had everything I needed for a safe and enjoyable ride. The tours were fun and provided stunning views. It’s clear they care about their customers and their experience. I can’t wait to book my next ride with them.

Voleur et menteur ! 2 motos louées en octobre pour faire le trajet Las Vegas vers Los Angeles .Le premier jour a Bryce canyon le voyant moteur d’une des motos s’allume , je les contacte on me dit que ce n’est rien que c’est dû à l’altitude et que nous pouvions continuer .Lors du trajet Grand Canyon vers Kingman , au niveau de Grand Canyon caverns la moto est tombée en panne .Nous les avons contacté et tout suite sans même avoir vu la moto mon interlocuteur à évoqué un problème de type carburant mis dans la moto . Lors de notre vol retour en France plusieurs débits ont été effectués sur ma carte bancaire pour un total d’environ 2500 € en utilisant mon empreinte de carte bancaire . The service and staff have been mostly OK - with the odd exception. I've joined as a member in 2011 or 2012 and rented a lot over the years. The locations that honour eagle rider membership credits has decreased. The number of credits used per rental day has increased, and random charges show up every time I rent that don't seem the same as the last time - I always have a sense of a "bait and switch" every time I rent - no transparency. The entire pricing model has become rediculously opaque and I believe that is intentional. One one occasion, I rented a dual sport motorcycle and when I arrived, they said "where is your trailer - this bike is intended for off road" - it is a dual sport motorcycle and should be plated and insured!!! Nowhere was it stated that it was for off road use only - and the staff member was terribly rude as if I was completely at fault. The Vancouver Canada operation has been awesome, great staff, Las Vegas not so much. With all the policy changes it's just not worth membership any more. The credits received for monthly membership fees used to last forever, then they started expiring at 24 months, now 18 months....it's just not what it once was. Read the fine print and beware of the final price out the door.

Bought a gift card on the Australian website not realising can only use in USA!!! Spoke with a lovely man in the Melbourne branch that has told me it is an ongoing issue and he himself has told the USA team many times. He has contacted them to ask to transfer the gift card to AUS as well as I have and still zero contact from USA in 4 days. This is a Christmas gift for my husband from his elderly father. Not impressed with lack of communication from USA and starting to worry that I have lost that money now, we have no plans to visit USA in the near future.

Absolute charlatans - despite outward appearances this outfit has no presence in Malaga, Spain and merely sub contract prospective bookings to TravelBike.eu (who were very good).
Do yourselves a favour and book direct with TravelBike.eu and save €30 on a 2 day rental.

While EagleRider has a huge selection of bikes, my experience was mixed. The Harley I rented had a minor mechanical issue that required a swap-out, which cost me half a day of my planned tour. The staff at the location were helpful in resolving it, but the process felt bureaucratic and slow. For a company of their stature, I expected a more streamlined contingency plan. You're paying a premium for the brand, but the customer service flexibility when things go wrong doesn't seem to match. Good, but could be much better.

Cette année, nous avons fait Vegas Chicago en 3 semaines de trip à 2 motos. Nous avons réservé nos motos auprès d EagleRider.
Chez EagleRider le premier jour à Vegas lors du retrait, première déconvenue: une des deux motos que nous voulions a été upgradé sans notre accord. Street glide Touring à la place de la street glide demandée, déception!!! 2800 miles avec une moto qui n est pas votre choix, c est franchement pas sympa!!! En plus ce model avait un CarPlay instable et « sautait » intempestivement. Il fallait arrêter la moto et redémarrer pour tout rétablir. La bulle avant empêche une bonne vision pour la conduite et n’est pas réglable ce qui n est pas le cas sur la street glide que nous avions essayé en France en concession pour s assurer de la bonne vision de conduite car bulle moins haute.
Concernant la seconde moto après une journée je constate que la selle bouge beaucoup (jeu très important et désagréable), que la béquille remonte mal et redescend en conduisant avec les secousses de la route. Le clignotant droit est resté allumé en permanence tout le trip. Le voyant de chargé s allume intempestivement et coupe le Cruise contrôl qui ne peut plus être réactivé. Ensuite c est le feu stop arrière qui s’ allumait tout seul quand il le souhaitait!!!!et qui même ne fonctionnait plus du tout le dernier jour pour faire St Louis Chicago sous la pluie battante. Dieu merci nous sommes arrivés sain et sauf à Chicago en m’ étant fait peur plusieurs fois à cause de tous ces défauts touchant ma sécurité. Lors de la restitution après 2800 miles l opérateur EagleRider était choqué de tous ces problèmes qu il a lui même constaté et noté et il s' est excusé plusieurs fois. Ill m’a conseillé d écrire et de téléphoner au service client pour faire une réclamation.
J ai fait cette réclamation et relancé plusieurs fois. Je n ai jamais reçu de réponse même pas un petit mot...
Donc si vous ne voulez pas qu il ne vous reste que vos yeux pour pleurer:
1- ne leur faite aucune confiance...
2- prévoyez une demi-journée pour le retrait ( on a envie de partir et tailler la route. C est comme cela qu ils vous enfument)
3- soyez deux pour pouvoir tout voir surtout feux stop ...
4- exigez un essai avant de signer quitte à tester sur le parking ( À Vegas il est très grand et vous pouvez rouler autour du bloc sans aller sur la route
5- Checkez tous les points de sécurité moteur tournant (être à 2 permet de rien rater )
Et si tout est ok ...taillez la route et gaffe

The overall 2.4 star rating speaks for itself. They only offer a instore credit as a refund. Paid $143 for one day rental on a plan trip that fell through, canceled less than 24 hours later and after all fees I was “credited” $32 back, $25 cancellation fee, $86 penalty for cancelling and then they tell you it goes as a store credit. Just close your business already.

I have foolishly been an Eagle Rider member for almost 8 years. To be fair, I should have canceled long ago. The number of eagle rider locations that take credits continually decreases. The number of credits allowed to accumulate also decreased. The franchise and misc charges continually increase. Their change policies are not at all accommodating. The discounts that are still offered may only be worth it if put against several rentals a year

Just back from a great guided tour of the American West - guide and support were excellent, roads and planning excellent, hotels pretty good.. All good apart from 2 things ..

Firstly- i originally booked and confirmed a different tour - which was cancelled with 5 weeks to go - so make sure you organise changeable / cancellable flights or wait until final payment has been made and the trip is confirmed before finalising travel plans. ER did offer a discount for the replacement tour but obviously i had to pay extra to organise travel plans to suit (as well as do a different, though similar, tour)

Secondly - many of their tours are listed twice on the same dates - one in English, the other in a variety of other languages. Seems like ER then combine them and I ended up as the only English speaker with a party of 15 french speakers (guide and support were in English as well as French). While everyone was friendly etc the off bike social side of things obviously wasn't what i was expecting or hoping for. So if you're a lone rider expecting some decent company off the bike try and get ER to confirm the nature of the group you're being mixed in with.

Other than that the riding experience itself was excellent

Just returned back to the UK after a truly memorable experience riding route 66 with eaglerider. A 2 week trip with 16 quality harley davidsons Road glides.
Quality tour guide. Quality hotels. And never a dull moment.
Good back up not short of ice cold water and good company and a welcoming beer at the end of each day's ride.
Can fully recommend this trip as a life time stress free experience.

Worst ride I ever had was on a 2024 Ultra limited. Hurt so bad I had to ride with feet skiing the hiway. Don't expect anything extra like hiway pegs. These are bottom of the barrel bikes that have been beat on by 100's of people like me before you. Watch out about signing on to eagle rider club. Read the contract before you sign up. There are hidden fees. Membership is for a year so make sure your going to use the credits and not just throwing money away.

Ho prenotato sul loro sito una moto che veniva data per disponibile. La procedura preveche anziché in garanzia venga pagato anticipatamente l’importo del noleggio. Al termine della procedura ho ricevuto una email in cui, come peraltro già evidenziato, si specifica che non si tratta di una conferma del contratto di locazione ma solo del ricevimento della richiesta. Il giorno successivo mi hanno risposto che il modello da me indicato non sarebbe stato disponibile e che quindi annullavano la mia richiesta ma che avrei potuto scegliere tra altri modelli. Ho risposto che mi andava bene qualsiasi moto disponibile. Non mi hanno risposto e sono andato in sede dove mi hanno confermato di non avere moto disponibili ( senza dare alcun segno di dispiacersi) e che per il rimborso ci vorranno un paio di mesi. Per fortuna nel giro di pochi giorni mi è stato reso. Lo stesso giorno dal loro sito risultava possibile prenotare diversi modelli di moto : davvero molto scorretti e ambigui. Li conosco da tempo e non mi aspettavo fossero così. Se tanto mi dà tanto, meglio evitarli.

My second rental in 5 years, a BMW GSA from Vegas with 79,000 miles, the bike felt rough with a service light on, the seat was jammed in the low position, the clutch had all but gone and finding neutral was impossible (so I left it in first) an the right pannier wouldn't open/close - returning it to salt lake city the guy was so rude to all of us, he couldn't open the filler cap, I did and he actually asked how I did it - I gave him his key and said sorry buddy its your bike?
