Ordered the straightener for my daughter's hair and was highly upset when I received a generic Chinese knock off of something I could have purchased at a local store. Save your money as this is a complete scam. I wish I would have seen this website prior. I have submitted a complaint with the FTC and will be contacting my bank.

Product looked so good on FB! But product is crap, doesn't work; complete waste of money. I went for the hair straightener but I think they sell other products too. Weirdly, after seeing nothing but ads every time I was on FB, now I can't find one of them!! It's a scam so please be warned.

Has anyone managed to get their money back, either from the "company" or from their bank?

I did not want to even give a star, I also have been duped, I am totally disgusted with the product and the way this company are treating people, and they are still advertising the product. Honest people buying this product as a gift. How they can sleep at night is unbelievable, they should be jailed for what they are doing, and forced to give the customers their money back. Unhappy uk customer.

Do not purchase anything from this company. They are a fake chinese company not based in france or america. They sent me a cheap pair of straightners made from cheap plastic with chinese symbols on them. NOT dona hair branded and nothing like the pictures on the website. They dont even look real. They look like a toy. Theres no way im going to even plug them in as they dont look safe. I messaged them and they said they changed their supplier thats why they are different to website, and they refused to give me a refund. This company is based in china thats why they always reply to messages early hours of the morning. Also the package was sent from china too. Those straighteners on the website dont even exist and the videos they show are another company with a different straightener and they claim its theirs. STAY AWAY AND AVOID THIS FAKE SITE.

Absolutely terrible product and customer service. No refund although I meet the criteria, my brush is faulty. Do not purchase from this company!

Same rubbish as everyone else - sister got duped into this unfortunately. so STAY AWAY. do plenty of research before buying anything advertised on facebook. Will be doing charge back from CC company, as clearly enough evidence on reviews on facebook to show this is an actual scam - not just a poor product, but i fear this will burst into flames or explode if even plugged in

BEWARE NOT WORTH 1 STAR

What a SCAM of a company, never replied to my emails sent numerous and finally after numerous attempts to get a refund on my straighteners got this reply, absolutely awful never mentioned this when I ordered online from them, they are not the straighteners I ordered and obviously this is a scam incorrect items sent and you have no hope of gettingyou're MONEY BACK, THIEVES. BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!!

I am the same. I have received a cheap Chinese brand and been told the same thing as previous reviews. Their customer service is now not replying to my emails.
I am going to contact my bank and trading standards.

I was unaware but this company false advertises. They do not send you the dona hair product. I'm in the UK they sent me a chinese product with a usa plug. I got an email explaining they had a high order so order and use different suppliers but are of the same quality. This I'd false advertising I've emailed back stating I'm contacting my bank and also trading standards as they are not allowed to do this.

I got ripped off also. Recieved a cheap plastic hair straightner. Emailed them and got told that there was nothing they could do because i bought on sale! No refund and replacement product. Not happy!!

Disgusted with what I received, cheap, nasty product from China which I have waited weeks to receive, I wouldn’t even trust using what they sent me on my hair. I wish I’d seen these reviews before ordering. Nothing at all like the advertisement, without a doubt a fraudulent company. I have emailed them requesting a refund, we shall see if that happens.

Someone needs to stop these people from defrauding customers. You order in good faith and expect to get what is advertised and what you paid for, not some cheap substitute. What a SCAM!! They need to refund people's money.

Avoid at all costs, order one product and get something different, no box, no instructions. Emailed customer service who say no refund as the product is on sale, doesn't matter that it isn't what you ordered.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. As the other reviews have stated the product was from China with a USA plug. No branding and the company gave me the same load of rubbish as what others have said. I have decided to take this to trading standards as it is blatant false advertising and no where does it say that the item will come from China.

So wish I had looked on this site before ordering from Dona Hair.
Had a similar negative experience and they had the cheek to say that its on their website that if they don't have the advertised item in stock they ll send a similar item. What kind of marketing nonsense is that.
It was inferior quality without even a branding.

Only put one star because I had to, received completely the wrong order and emailed them about it and now they are refusing to accept a return or refund me! Wasn’t even the brand on the straighteners ! AVOID AVOID AVOID !! save your money and go elsewhere !
