Just started using DIYDIRECT.CO.UK - quite impressed with service. Goods turned up just over 24 hours after order. All good and decent price.
Comms were pretty good, and courier was Royal Mail, ordered small cabinet items (brass casters, box corners, screws and a brass handle). nicely packed 10% discount code included for next order.

Excellent customer service. I ordered the wrong size of one of my items, they spotted my error and emailed me. They corrected my order, posted it and it arrived the next day. I can't fault this company and will definitely use them again.

I ordered 12 small hinges of various sizes with screws included. I couldn't find another source with the same variety to purchase. They all arrived next day at a reasonable price. Very happy with the service. Will definitely use this company again

I ordered 10 locks and I am a locksmith, they supplied all faulty items. Selling manufactured faulty items. Cheap and not usable locks. When I requested a refund, so many excuses, luckily I paid by PayPal. I got money back but did not return postage costs. Beware of these guys, they are not practicing fair trade policies. I have placed some light bulbes but they were wrong items due to difficulties to see the differnt base.
Requested returns but they will find all sort of excuses not to accept the returns. If I were you I would be very careful to make sure you are buying the correct items.
Customer service is terrible specially Scott.

I CONTACTED THIS BUSINESS REGARDING A GATE LATCH ON ITS QUALITY AND STRENTGH. WAS TOLD BY SCOTT " OH YES IT'S NOT THIN, IT DOESNT BEND IF GATE GETS SLAMMED" SO WITH THAT ASSURANCE I PURCHASED IT. ANYWAY IT ARRIVED I LOOKED AT IT. THE QUALITY IS POOR AS FOR THE RIGIDNESS THAT TOO IS VERY POOR AND IT ARRIVED WITH A SLIGHT BEND IN IT! IT WAS ALSO NO DIFFERENT TO THE LATCH ALREADY ON MY GATE THAT IS SAME THINESS AND QUALITY THAT'S BENT

I CONTACT THE BUSINESS, YOU SEEM TO HAVE TO FILL A FIRMOUT THE WAIT FIR THE TO APPROVE OR DECLINE THE RETURN FIR REFUND. NEXT DAY I GOT THE APPROVAL BUT THEY DINT TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY RETURN POSTAGE EVEN FIR A NOT AS DESCRIBED ITEM! (SEE ON ASKING TO RETURN THEY ONLY PUT LIMITED REASONS TO SELECT)

I RESPONDED BACK EXPLAINING I'M NOT PAYING POSTAGE FIR A FAULTY NOT DESCRIBED ITEM I'VE BEEN MISSOLD AND THEREFIRE REQUEST PREPAID POSTAGE LABEL ISSUED OR REFUND IF POSTAGE COSTS HONOURED ONCE RECIEVED.
OH NO NOT SCOTT HE JUST TRUES TO PASS THE BUCK BACK.

SO NOW I LEFT WITH TAKING UP WITH TRADING STANDARDS FOR MISSELLING AND LEAVING REVIEWS ONLINE AS TO WHY THIS BUSINESS IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOESBT DESERVE POSITIVE REVIEWS!

I made a mistake and ordered the wrong item but DIY Direct customer services were brilliant in patiently helping me to sort it out. Great products too, I will definitely be back!

When I contacted customer services they told me it was cosmetic. It was functional not cosmetic!

A first class experience. Helpful customer service, fast delivery, good products at great prices - what’s not to like?!

I purchased hinges from this company only to find out their advert was very misleading. The hinge they sent was not what the hinge I wanted, because of their bad product advert. I have sent emails to the company only to be told I will have to pay for the return postage even though it was there fault.
I will never deal with this company again and suggest you don't unless you want a lot of aggro.

Only just completed the order and it was at the door! Job complete and onto the next. Cannot fault and will use in future. Many thanks

Rather pay few quid extra and get quality stuff.
I had to return.
Took 15 days to acknowledge my return after I kept chasing them. They they say 1 screw was missing so refunded me for 3 locks instead of 4.
Avoid if I was you. Cheap quality, poor customer service. You will regret it. I should have checked reviews before buying.

Purchased some chrome ring handles. Delivery amazingly quick, however items were poor quality and required special chrome screws that were not supplied.

Very pleased! Ordered prolam a few weeks ago for a pergola. Hired a 3m trailer and picked up today from Owens. Very well packaged. Was a bit anxious given the 6m lenght but worked out perfectly. Thanks DIY Direct!
