Motorised turntable ordered online
My wife is a crafter and we wanted a motorised turntable to display her work. I found one that looked good on the net and ordered it Sunday evening.
It arrived on Tuesday morning.
In terms of the ordering process, delivery and e-mail communications I can only say excellent.

Extortionate delivery and point blank no discount
I purchased some small acrylic price blocks and went on live chat to see if there was any discount codes available. There weren't. Why have the box available to fill in a code if you don't have discount codes (as the Live Chat agent told me). I also asked if there was a cheaper postage option rather than the £9.95 standard delivery - the Live Chat agent just told me that was the charge like or or lump it. I pay £4.00 next day delivery with my company for a DPD express pack which can take items far bigger than this. They also said this charge includes time and packaging - I include this in by business model and felt a bit fobbed off . This was for the purchase of a tiny box of price blocks. I feel a bit ripped off on that basis and not necessarily use them again.

You are correct in pointing out that we have a dedicated section on our website for applying discount codes, a common feature among e-commerce sites. However, it is not our standard practice to proactively communicate available discounts (if any) upon customer inquiry. I regret any misunderstanding this may have caused and appreciate your perspective.
Regarding the shipping costs, our agent did clarify that the £9.95 fee represents a standard charge for our tracked, insured, next-day delivery service. This pricing model is designed to accommodate the needs of many B2B transactions, and we believe it offers good value. It is indeed noted that this shipping fee was visible during the purchase process, and if you felt it did not reflect the value of the items, I understand how that could have been disappointing. You always have the option to reconsider the transaction at any point before making a purchase.
