Terrible service - never again
I ordered three bottles of syrup. What I received was three sticky tubes of bubble-wrap filled with broken glass, wrapped in a single layer of cardboard.
When I complained and sent photos, they responded asking for photos.
I resent the photos and they refunded me for the syrup but not the postage.
I complained that it was their choice of courier and poor packing not mine, but apparently it’s their ‘policy’ to fob customers off with a substandard service and shirk responsibility where possible.
Order 165679 no show
Well going by the website and delivery guidelines i should have had my item before Christmas considering i ordered it on the 18th December. But shock horror there has been no delivery and according to the dpd tracking it hasnt even been sent out. Ive emailed the company but no response. Looks like im going through the bank to get a refund. Avoid at all cost.. its not worth it.

I received a 1kg bag of coffee beans that had been opened, when i say open the whole of the top was open, such that beans had spilt into the delivery box
I queried this with discount coffee and the reply is
"I do apologise for this. I have spoken to my manager, and he assures me that the pack will still be fine to use so long as you transport the package to a sealed container to avoid any additional air or moisture getting to it"
I have no idea how long the bag has been open for, who opened it and what may have contaminated it.
Very disappointing response for what I see as a very valid complaint.
Great cheap coffee
Wow, so many negative reviews - I don't understand it, just put in my fourth bulk order of Rio Classic coffee beans over the last year. The coffee suits us just fine, works in a french press or on the mokka pot on the stove. Nice coffee and the cheapest I've found by far. Not had any problem with delivery, or with the company. P.S. Ordered 8kg yesterday, (17th), arrived today (18th) by DPD.

Ordered online and they took the money and lost the order when they found the order after telephoning them they agreed too dod next day it.
Odd course this did not happen
Yet another telephone call found out if was still with them. (don't for get was promised next day dpd)
Aoz a week later got mist te items. The missing g part of the shipment was showing not ferfilled yet there staff said it was sent.

This time wanted 4x rio freeze dried as its cheaper. There staff said no I could only have one.

Both our sister companies use loads off there coffee it's a decent product for the price but playing games with your customers. Putting them on hold untill your clossed is this how u trade

Bad experience

After waiting for a week, the parcel with the wrong syrup was collected, but I only received a partial refund. This was unfair because the mistake wasn't mine. I tried to contact them about this issue, but they never responded. Despite this, I managed to get my money back, but I did lose the postage costs. This experience has led me to decide that it was my last purchase with them.

Have been ordering from them few times but last order is nightmare i recieved message from.dpd they will deliver on saturday then nobody came amd then they said they will deliver somewehere else when contact discount cofee they siad i should go and look around for my parcel and not willing to help when i asked to speak to supervisor some one named David said he was the supervisor and i sugestion was i go to everyone and ask for the parcel and not ready to help
Shipping emails meaningless

Don’t order anything from this place because they’re useless , promise one thing and deliver another , called them to cancel the delivery the just hung up , very unprofessional and rude . Never order again .
Legend has it, it's still on its way
I live in Italy. Despite being in coffee central they don't have many of the things I was used to in America. Cue my excitement when I found this website that was offering things at a decent price. So, I put in a 60 euro order in mid-December. It's 15 days into January and I still haven't received it. First, they told me that the original package was lost so they resent it and sent me a tracking number which didn't work. Then after a while, I get a number from a third-party shipper saying it was on its way (a week ago) and over the course of the week I have received links to two different sources that are 'tracking my package' and each one is on a different step in the shipping process. I'm going to wait 'til the end of the week because I really want my stuff. But if it doesn't get here then I'm asking for a refund.
Falsely advertised
Spent £20 on a 'premium' ground coffee which is shown on their website nicely packaged in a resealable pouch. Got sent a pack with a pixelated printed sticker on the front (could barely read the small print) not even stuck on central. Not a resealable pouch. Basically told nothing they will do about it. I can return it for a refund, however I've spent above £5 on delivery already and have to pay for tracked delivery back! Fumin.

Second time using them
Second time using them, disappointed this time. Paid extra for next day delivery with DPD through discountcoffe and royal mail email me telling me its due in three days time instead. I hate being a karen but i paid for next day, not three day delivery. To the point i don't want the order now.

Great vegan coffee creamer
I recently had to start avoiding dairy, but don't like milk substitutes so I asked in my local Health Food shop. They didn't have anything so I Googled "vegan coffeemate" and found Discount Coffee.
I tried a bag of their vegan coffee creamer and it's the best discovery I have made in ages! It dissolves easily without any lumps and tastes lovely in coffee. I even use it in tea (am I allowed to say that on a review for a Coffee website?).
It was well packaged and arrived in a couple of days.
I definitely recommend it!!!
