Waiting time was excessive
Waiting time was excessive. Frames are very cheep and small, more like a childs frame. Ordered varifocal extra light weight lense.
Would be good except I can't see through them, the distance is blurred, unable to read road signs, the reading vision seems no different to the distance. Wouldn't use on line services again. Waste of £150.

We'd like to clarify that the lenses you ordered were Occupational Varifocals, which are designed specifically for office use. As discussed with you by email after receiving your prescription details, these lenses provide intermediate and near vision only and do not include distance vision. Because of this, they are not suitable for activities such as driving or viewing distant road signs.
We're also sorry to hear you're unhappy with the frame. We can't see that you've contacted our Customer Service Team since receiving your order and we'd really like the opportunity to help.
If the occupational lenses aren't meeting your needs, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to discuss exchanging them for a standard Varifocal lens, which provide distance, intermediate and near vision.
We always want our customers to be happy with their glasses and we'd welcome the chance to find a solution for you!
Onthis occasion there was a problem…
Onthis occasion there was a problem with the precription I sent in. This resulted in the wrong lenses being fitted. However, Direct Sight were extremely helpful when |I reported this. The glasses were returned to them, the correct lenses fitted....and returned to me very quickly.It's best to judge a company when things have "gone wrong" and Direct Sight rose to tho occasion. That is why I have awarded a 5 star score. (I should stress that the original fault lay with me and my optician rather than with direct sight)

We can see that your order was placed using our Express Service on Sunday, which was outside of our working hours. As a result, your order was produced and dispatched on the next working day (Monday) and delivered on the following working day, 14th July.
Our Express Service prioritises production and dispatch, with orders placed before the cut-off time on working days being processed accordingly. Weekend orders are picked up on the next working day.
We hope this clarifies your query and do hope you’re happy with your glasses!
I cannot fault the varifocals
I cannot fault the varifocals. I was worried that they would need adjusting, but so far, so good.
The delivery was slower than I needed. I was told the glasses were dispatched but got no choice in the delivery timeframe. They arrive in what I consider, flimsy packaging. Fortunately they were okay but one delivery error away from being broken. Customer should be consulted as to speed of delivery.
