We initially made an enquiry about selling our family home of 64 years last June. The property wasn’t quite ready for sale then but Curchods kept in regular contact. They were the only Agents we approached. When we were ready to sell, we initially found things a little pushy but we didn’t sign any paperwork or instruct the EPC until we were 100% sure. After this things worked very well and a buyer was secured in less than 3 weeks. Only criticism is that the property wasn’t left as it was found on viewings with internal doors and blinds left open right up until the last visit days before completion. Also there seemed to be some confusion with the Agent asking for instructions which we feel should have come from the Solicitor. We were also told that on completion the Agent would contact us to make sure we were happy to release the keys but this didn’t happen and the Solicitor informed us she had already released them. Would definitely recommend or use again though.

If you are selling a property head straight to Curchods in Cobham. The Cobham team are brilliant. Any form filling in etc that I had problems with they were more than happy to help. A special mention for Clinton Liem who contacted me regularly with updates on how the sale was proceeding. Outstanding customer service!

We found all the staff to be friendly knowledgable and supportive especially Rupert, the sales manager who, when we had a buyer, kept a close eye on proceedings to smooth the process as much as possible. We would definitely recommend them.

Curchods in Godalming have just sold my brother-in-law's property with myself as power-of-attorney. They were quick to find a buyer and with their recommended solicitor were able to see the sale through very quickly. The staff were very good at keeping up communications. Although only a sale with no chain, there were complexities with the property being empty, the poa situations and my being out-of-country. However, Curchods were most helpful and facilitated matters beyond their remit. No hesitation in giving them a 5-star recommendation.

The team at the Ottershaw office were very friendly, helpful and professional. It was good to meet them all when they came round to the house as a team to see what the house offered prospective buyers and have answers ready to some of the frequently asked questions before viewings were booked in. Phill Shortman worked quickly and very effectively to find a new buyer so that we did not loose the house we had an offered accepted on. Alex kept us informed on a regular basis of how the process was progressing. Overall we were very pleased with the service and attention we received.
