First experience of Croner and have to say I was very disappointed. i was advised by our Accountants to contact them to discuss an ex Employee which we did via an online portal giving all information which we required advice on. I was surprised to be contacted by Croner who after answering a few more questions, arranged a Face to Face meeting for a legal representative to speak to us about our issue. We were sent a meeting request and when looking at what was being discussed at this meeting, it was not what our initial enquiry was about - more to do with updates to contracts, handbooks and policies. I declined the meetiing then spoke to the Legal Department at our Insurance Company and was given an answer to our problem immediately. A few days later I received another email from Croner re-confirming the meeting even though the subject matter in their email clearly said "Declined Meeting". I emailed them back, saying thank you for speaking to us but this meeting is cancelled. I have just received a telephone call from Croner asking about the meeting and how it went. I said that the meeting was cancelled, to which he agreed it had been and then changed direction, asking why had we cancelled the meeting and asking if we needed to speak to someone about updates etc. I said that we were ok and kept our records up to date, he then put the phone without even saying Bye! As I have said I have never used Croner before and will certainly not consider again or recommend to anyone. I feel they are sales people who, from reading the above reviews, want to sign you into a contract and get money for doing so. Some people may have a different, positive, experiences with Croner but if this is how they operate, I cannot see anyone wishing to use them.

My experience with Croner has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
What is marketed as a “free consultation” quickly turns into pressure to sign a contract, especially when you’re already dealing with challenges in your business. Key details, like the lack of a proper cancellation option and the strict 90-day notice before renewal, were not clearly explained at the time of signing.
Once you’re in, you’re locked in. When we tried to exit after realising the service wasn’t suitable for us, there was zero flexibility or understanding—just a rigid contract being enforced.
It feels less like a support service and more like a sales trap. Even more concerning is seeing others share very similar experiences, which suggests this isn’t a one-off situation.
If you’re considering them, take your time, read everything carefully, and don’t feel pressured into signing anything on the spot.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend them.

Very disappointing experience with Croner. Our charity was locked into an auto-renewed contract despite a complete change in committee and no approval from current trustees. They strictly enforced a 90-day notice clause, yet were unable to provide evidence that the required renewal reminder was actually sent.
Even more concerning, important communications continued to be sent to a former contact despite us raising this, showing poor account management.
While polite in communication, the approach felt inflexible and process-driven rather than fair or reasonable — particularly when dealing with a charity.
Would not recommend.

We appreciated Croner's quality of professionalism and helpfulness throughout a settlement process. This was a particularly difficult claim for us. We appreciated the Croner Face-2-Face advisors calm and considered advice throughout. We are content that the settlement made was a “good” outcome for our company and are pleased to be able to close this issue, finally. It is a relief and allows us to focus on our daily business again.
