Very pleased I found these guys. There are so many middlemen out there, referring customers onto dodgy installers selling cheap kit. These guys are genuine, did a clean and quick job and were reasonably priced. They were happy to come to me (surry/ west sussex border).

We have now had these solar panels for over 1 month. Never looked back, should have had them sooner!

CRG have been brilliant from start to finish, couldn’t recommend them enough.

Everything was done the way all companies should do it. I’m so glad I found CRG after having months wasted by another company.

The process began with a friendly, non-pushy visit from a salesman who was able to advise us what was most suitable for our circumstances and to negotiate a favourable price. It was clear from this moment and over the few days we took to deliberate and obtain a second quote, that this was a trustworthy company.

A technical survey was carried out and an installation date within only 6 weeks was agreed. Scaffolding was erected and all the components were delivered, ahead of the agreed date. A crew of 4 fitters turned up on time and installed the whole system amazingly quickly with minimal disruption. Despite the atrocious weather conditions they remained cheerful and friendly throughout.

A few minor installation problems were promptly rectified two days later and the scaffolding and rubbish were all taken away.

We were kept informed throughout the entire process. There was always somebody willing and able to answer phone enquiries and respond to emails…. Just how it should be and just what customers are entitled to expect. Other companies should take note.

Our system worked perfectly from the moment it was commissioned. I was quickly supplied with our MCS certificate and now just await our DNO approval in order to start exporting. Meanwhile, even in the current dull winter weather conditions, we are happily enjoying reduced bills from our panels and batteries.

After getting a few quotes I chose to go with CRG mainly as they were more local than the others. I am glad I did as the install, setup and support is exceptional.

We have just had solar panels installed on our roof.
We chose CRG because their approach was businesslike and efficient.
The sales pitch was detailed and proved to be entirely without bull.
The equipment arrived on time.
The scaffolding arrived on schedule and the fitters arrived exactlly as expected.
The four man team had the job (12 panels, 10kw battery and inverter) done in less than a day, as promised.
On time, on budget and working well.
I'd be surprised if you could find better.

Excellent work. Frank was very helpful in explaining the options and specified the system that worked really well for me. I found his experience shone through when I needed help in understanding the process. The scaffolders did a great job and took care to protect a flat roof. The installation was quick and efficient. Frank was available for any issues but there were none. Many thanks for a great installation.

We found CRG Direct through the Martin Lweis website via an intermediary company who made the initial appointment. We chose CRG Direct because of the following points:
They were on time and their initial assessment consultation was concise, they listened to our needs, options were well explained and there was no "hard sell". Frank's use of Leymans terms was appreciated. A point to note: List your requirements and needs for your home and they will give accurate options for you to consider, have your usage available to discuss as this is used to help calculate the needs of the system required. Communication be it either email or telephone conversations throughout the installation was exceptionally good with any queries answered in a timely manner.
Scaffolding assembly and dismantlement were efficient and prompt as were the installation team.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this company, Frank and his team did a superb job.

I was introduced to CRG via SolarGuide when looking at getting a new Solar PV and Battery Storage system quoted for. CRG were quick of the mark to make contact and Frank attended to carry out a home survey a few days later.

Frank was incredible, he really listened to what I was looking for and really was able to tailor and inform myself of the different options available. Frank was not there to hard sale, he really took the time to explain the pro's and con's, how the accreditation schemes worked and warranty. It was a refreshingly honest experience

Since the initial home survey, Frank has answered and provided further guidance quickly via email.

The overall my dealings with CRG has been outstanding and would highly recommend anyone looking at Solar PV and Battey Storage to speak to them!

Solar is a considrable investment and I did a fair amount of research so as to gain some info prior to the risky business of inviting salesfolk in my home. I contacted four reputable companies inviting them to quote and not one replied. I found one of those'middle man' agencies who vet contractors and they undertook to send three bona-fide contractors in to quote. First one in was CRG, a very kowledgeable chap named Frank came to quote. I was expecting double glazing style bull/pressure selling but I couldn't have been more wrong. I was treated with respect, given background info on not only the company but also the suppliers, along with informative conversation on options available and an ability to have input. Such a refreshing change to the near-forced 'recommendation' that I have come to expect in a modern day sales pitch. CRG provided a proper detailed contract including named specification of components, lead times, works duration and payment stages. They also included a sensible penalties section protecting both parties. I signed a few days later - with no pressure!

Come the time for installation, proper scaffolding was erected in advance and a four man crew rocked up on the day at the specified time and set about their work. It's no small job and I was anticipating losing the house to them for the duration, With boxes of components to unpack and equipment to assemble you have to be ready to accept a loss of access to hallway, stairs, landing with much too-ing and fro-ing between loft and meter cupboard. Inside five hours it was a done job. Cable off-cuts, dust from drilling, cartons and packaging all gone. The team didn't have one crossed word between them, just entertaining banter all the way.

The system works, all of the mandatory registration was done for me and I was given an app and instruction on how I could monitor the effectiveness of the system in operation. I have never had such stress-free service before. These guys are absolitely fantastic, I can wholeheatedly recommend them.

I was looking for a solar installation and had received other quotes from two national companies and one other local company. Being local CRG were able to visit the property and offered me either a solar only installation or solar/battery. I chose this option from saying yes I had an installation date within 4 weeks far better date than any other company. Communication throughout was great and the installation was very good. I’m now saving money on my electricity which is great.

CRG offered us very good price for installing bigger amount of solar panels compared to another competitor. They want customers to be independent on the grid as possible, so we can generate sufficient amount of energy even in dark winter months. Communication throughout the process very swift, they were professional sending abruptly all the relevant documents and explained everything we needed. They use the best products in the market and were even willing to put the cables differently to suit our needs. So not only is the system efficient but looks good without cables on the outside the house:)
Only scaffolders were not notified of installation completion, so waited next day for them to take it off and only after my text they knew, so arrived a day later.

I enquired a few months ago as my electric bills were so high and I was visited by a consultant Sy who was fantastic. Gave me peace of mind that I would get a great service from the team.

I have had my system installed for a month and everything is working perfectly. Would highly recommend this company for solar panels installation.

Not only were CRG Direct able to beat all other quotes I received , they also installed the system within two weeks of ordering ( others were saying minimum 8 weeks) and were incredibly professional and friendly helping me throughout the whole process . The install team were great and the quality of the kit and install are top notch. Frank and his guys have done a great job and I’m sometimes not the easiest person to please, so a big thank you to them as I sit here generating electricity smugly !!

The solar pv system has been installed with care and is working well. At the time of writing (August 2022) an iBoost is awaited to complete the installation, but that is dependent on the international supply chain. One other detail is unfinished - the sealing of joints on the external piping that carries the live cable from the roof to the fuse box. When both these jobs are completed I anticipate upgrading my rating to five stars.

CRG Direct were excellent, from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From the first visit it was clear that they would provide a great job. When we had any concerns (eg when the scaffolding didn’t turn up) we rang them and the issue was soon resolved (scaffolders were there within a couple of hours).
