We recently had a solar system install at my house. Initial impression of Jon who came to look at the job and quote was very positive. He was both professional and knowledgeable and no "sales pitch/push". Install was arranged pretty rapidly and delivered via their sub-contractors. The install crew were excellent, but the scaffolders turned up without a ladder and I'm still waiting for the scaffold to be removed over 3 weeks later! Communication from CRG themselves could definitely be improved and I've already exported 84kWh of power which I'm not getting paid for because the paperwork hasn't been processed yet. I think the title sums up my view.

Really disappointed to find that I have nesting pigeons underneath my solar panels. I was convinced by the professional advice I received at the time from CFG that these would definitely not be required when I was negotiating costs up front. Beware those given similar advice!

Recently had an install done which my partner organised and dealt with and have to say we are both immensely happy with the final result. Massive thanks to Melissaa who helped us all the way through and ensured we knew what was going on from start to finish and I would highly recommend this company

The GRG team were excellent from the start to the finish of the process. They assessed our house to see what was possible and discussed their recommended options. A configuration plan and schedule for installation was agreed. Everything was delivered on time and excellently co-ordinated. The installation process was completed and fully commissioned as scheduled. The pre and post installation support was excellent, timely and helpful. The installation and commissioning teams were outstanding in every way and were a pleasure to have on site. From the start to finish it has been a real pleasure to work with the CRG team – well done to everyone. GRG are a company that genuinely cares about their customers. A huge thank you to all of the staff at CRG.

It takes a good communicator to convey complicated information into simple language. I think that's what Frank does, he is a great sales person. Calm, knowledgable and trustworthy. When I started looking into solar panels, batteries and inverters, it started to get a bit confusing after a while, but I've managed to get sense of it all with the help of CRG. After we have agreed on the quote, they have come around to install our panels, battery and connecting it all up.
The electrician Sharni, was also a joy to work with, she is an amazing asset to the team! I can honestly say this company works as a team, and their work reflects that. The installation is top notch, all the cables fitted neatly and now I can just watch how much energy I can generate from my phone app. Oh and the whole process took just under 8 weeks (from the date of the technical survey to finish), but I love everything about it now, and I couldn't agree more to recommend these guys. They're 100% trustable company, and most importantly they do what they say they do!

CRG installed our solar panels last year and by the time we were registered with the Grid and our power company it was December. We have been amazed at how much power the panels have produced during the winter months. And with the diverter to heat our hot water we have cut our gas usage. There were administrative delays, but the technical advice we received from Frank and the quality of the installation have proved to be excellent.

XXXX came out on the 13th March. I wanted solar and a new roof. They said they could do both. Over 3wks later I've had nothing from them despite me speaking to XXXX last week who said she will get XXXX to call me. Very disappointed with them. I would not use now

After doing extensive research and with rising energy costs we decided to invest in solar panels, as like a lot of people we are at work during the day so we also wanted a battery to maximise our savings.
We contacted three companies to compare quotes and CRG were the first to respond and offered a visit the very next day. Sam who conducted the consultation was very professional and guided us through the minefield of the world of renewable energy, he translated it all into plain english and explained the whole process.
The survey was carried out by Ash who ensured everything we wanted and needed would fit, and then an install date was agreed.
What amazed us was the speed that the installers worked, within 5 hours(And numerous cups of tea) we were up and running.
We are now looking forward to generating our own energy and look forward to recouping our investment.
Without a doubt from start to finish it has been an absolute pleasure to work with CRG and it has been so refreshing to find a company that actually cares about the customer.

CRG did a great job of installing my solar system and I have been very pleased with its performance. We have had a slight problem with tripping of our consumer unit RCD tripping. I contacted CRG and a superb electrician - Sharni - called by the same day and made a modification which should solve the problem. She was very knowledgeable and a delight to talk to. A great asset to CRG!

CRG are an Excellent company. Their very courteous polite efficient and a happy team. The design was excellent from the very beginning survey. The different teams that came were very efficient and the site was clean. I would recommend them to anyone. The final installation and the actual production is perfect.

CRG installed 6 solar panels on our garage roof. Excellent service from start to finish. Competitive and fair price.
Several other companies only used Google earth to do the initial survey and decided they could only fit 4 panels and so a battery pack was pointless.
CRG did a proper accurate on site survey and determined that 6 would fit fine and so we could have a battery as well - which was what we wanted. Great job , really happy. The fitters didn't replace some of our block driveway very well, but Victoria and Melissa in the office organised a proper repair, and wouldn't take final payment until everything was spot on. Really pleased and can't speak highly enough of the whole company . Thank you CRG Direct. Also, great App to watch the sun power our home and little or nothing coming from the Grid! :-)

We had a great experience with CRG installing our solar panels and battery. Pre-install I had quite a few questions and they were always answered quickly and in an easy to understand way. During the installation the team discovered that it wasn’t going to be as straightforward as they initially thought due to the strange layout of our house and the location of the electrical fuse box etc but they did a great job of working out a route for the cabling that caused the least disruption. Since the install I’ve had another couple of questions about configuring the system and again, I got a quick and helpful response.

So glad that I found CRG. From my initial meeting with Frank through to quote and installation I have been very happy. The solar PV system was installed end of August last year and I benefitted from the team being able to fit one panel more than we originally thought possible. Initially I did have to wait for an iBoost but that was dependent on the international supply chain; now installed that really does give me the extra benefit of heating the hot water when an excess of solar is being generated.

One thing I have now done is have CRG supply and install an extra battery. Wish I had done this with the original order as even in February, on a very sunny day, I am able to run my house on battery power from sundown to sun-up with very little coming from the grid during the day. Looking forward to seeing the full benefit when the lighter days appear.

I have recently had CRG complete a solar installation on my property. From the start of the process they have provided an excellent service. David came over to do the quote, he was friendly, polite and professional with no 'hard' sell involved. Ash, their technical surveyor, was very informative and helpful and was able to make the best evaluation of the property and system, so as to customise it precisely to my requirements. The install was done within a day by a very friendly, polite and professional crew and was up and running by the end of the day.
Their pre/post sales customer support has been outstanding as well. All in all an excellent experience from start to finish !!

From the initial survey till completion of the installation I have been most impressed. There was no hard sell, everything was explained clearly. Once I had accepted the lead date was just a matter of weeks. The actual installation was completed very efficiently. The backup support is second to none. l can't recommend Frank, Melissa and the team more highly for the whole experience.

CRG really couldn't have done anything better! We switched to them after we had been disillusioned by the Hampshire Solar initiative and the difference was a revelation. From the start we were impressed by the way in which CRG responded almost instantly to questions and took time to draw attention to aspects of solar electricity/storage/tariffs that we could easily have overlooked.

We were equally impressed by the CRG team when they arrived for scaffolding and installation. The whole team were friendly, careful and respectful. We really appreciated the fact that they were willing to listen to any concerns that we raised and adapt their approach to overcome them.

The installation was fully completed in one day and without any inconvenience. The quality of the work was superb with the Inverter and Battery neatly installed in our garage with all cable runs from the roof neatly located out of sight. By 17:00 we were collecting solar electricity and the following day, thanks to the winter sunshine, our electricity consumption dropped by over 25% compared to previous similar days.

It has been a pleasure throughout dealing with CRG Direct and we don't hesitate to highly recommend them.

From start to finish the team were excellent. They visited our property to make sure they understood what was needed. The details were fully explained and they responded to our questions very quickly and provided high quality answers. A plan was agreed and delivered to time with everything being excellently co-ordinated. The install went smoothly and quickly and everything was up and running on the day. From an aftersales perspective they were great too...once again being responsive and very helpful. Highly recommended

Frank came out to measure and quote for solar panels. He was professionally and quick with his quote. We did not feel rushed or pressured into purchasing at all.
Timescales were accurate and their communication was speedy and sincere.
Installation was brilliant. You could tell the installers knew exactly what they were doing.
Warning- The app to see your solar usage and generation is addictive!

Great service from start to finish.

It took a long time to sift though the cowboys that have entered this field now, and I knew from my first conversation with Frank that he was the man to deal with.

The install team were brilliant, a good bunch of lads who were more than happy to help accommodate my OCD needs for the roof layout to be symmetrical.

Both Frank and Melissa were extremally helpful, and guided my wife and I through the minefield which is Solar.

I will always try and support local smaller firms over big flashy national names, and once again this has proven to be 100% correct.

I can’t recommend them enough.
