I had Synthesia Installation - under tile. From the initial phone call to send a surveyor to discuss the procedure and having the installation - I found that all staff were polite and acted in a professional way.

Excellent service, the guys who do the work were brilliant, didn’t stop from parking the van to leaving, very efficient.

Clear discussions, and installation was rapid, neat, and the installers cleaned up impressively well, including the garden path.

Although team arrived at 11.45 when I was advised to expect them at 09.00, they were polite, explained what they were doing. I was given the opportunity to inspect their work.

The salesman came promptly and fully explained the process. The price quoted seemed reasonable.

The installation team were also on site at the time stated. They were friendly and explained everything that needed to be done.

Everything was done as promised and they cleaned up afterwards.

Update: Having done some additional research (which I wish I had done before I went ahead with the insulation) there are a couple of things that I would like to add to my review.
1. I had decided that I was going to have the insulation done and allowed myself to be convinced by the salesman into having it done quickly because “they had a team in the area that week”. That was untrue as Jacko and Matt travelled over from Nottingham on the day. The fact that I had the installation done within 2 days of the salesman’s visit also meant that I did not have the protection of the 14 days cancellation period. Having said that I was, as I said in my initial review, happy with the installation itself.
2. I posted pictures of the installation on my Facebook account (it looks amazing) and was somewhat unsettled when my handyman asked if I had let my insurance company know that I was having it done. I hadn’t – but now have, and it is not a problem. However, in doing my research, I did come across information that indicated that some lenders are reluctant to give mortgages on properties with spray foam insulation. My home is non-standard construction anyway so hopefully this won’t add an extra layer of difficulty if I decided to sell.
3. Also, I understand, from what I’ve read, that it can cause issues with wooden roofs - mine is a pine wood roof under a cover of slate. I was not advised of this potential issue – which hopefully will not create a problem.
4. I paid £5500 for a 88 square metre area but in my research I discovered this is above the going rate. The Eco experts website - Updated on 26 January 2023 says “Spray foam is usually the most expensive insulation material. On average, spray foam insulation costs between £20–£50 per square metre.” I paid £62.50 per Square metre. Frustrating! This means that I paid at least £1100 more than the top price suggested by Ecoexperts.
5. My advice to anybody thinking of having this done is to do your own research – and don’t accept the first or (as in my case second) quote. It is also worth checking with your local council as to whether you might qualify under the ECO4 scheme. Even if, like me, you don’t qualify they will probably have a list of contractors that they recommend.

I hope this advice will be helpful to others.

The team arrived at the agreed time and set to work immediately. Despite a discrepancy in the scope of work, Jacko reset his equipment to complete the spraying of the gable end. Jack and Matt were both polite and professional throughout the process and left the premises in a clean and tidy state.

Excellent service

Just purchased a solar panel installation from them. Installation on the date agreed, at the price originally agreed and all the technicians who fitted it delivered an excellent service. Even a minor problem that came up during the installation was resolved in no time.

We would definitely recommend them.

We recently purchased a solar panel installation from this firm. It did exactly what they promised, at the price originally agreed and all the technicians who fitted it were excellent. The only downside was that the scaffolders (who were not Cozyhome employees) were over a week late in removing the scaffold. We would definitely recommend them.

Steven and Dean were amazing. Worked so hard. Friendly and helpful. Did an amazing job. Left everything nice and tidy.

I was cold called, which I normally do not respond to, but my house is old and the insulation tired, so I listened. The rep came and inspected my loft free of charge. He explained clearly, simply and precisely where the problem areas were, and why they had occurred. He gave his recommendations as to how they could be fixed, but at no time was I pressured into purchasing anything. When I did agree to new insulation, care was taken to ensure I was comfortable with every step of the process. Installation itself was remarkably quick and fuss free with absolutely no mess left behind. Altogether a very pleasant experience. It is not cheap, but my heating bills should reduce, so it is a good investment.

Friendly and professional team, job finished well. Too soon to tell if it will save me money.
