It would have been helpful to have a list of whom to tip and how much before we arrived, having enough cash and the right denominations was an ongoing issue for us. Pretty much everything else was wonderful. Sometimes there was no allotment of time for lunch and we got pretty hungry. The train from Agra to Ranthambore was terrible, but probably not much could be done about that. We thought the guides were great, especially Gupta in Agra and Deepak in Udaipur and Raj in Delhi. One of the Cox and Kings agents in Ranthambore dropped the ball and did not get us and our traveling friends (Dan and Gloria Woods/Goodale) in the same jeep with us and, wouldn't you know, we were the ones who saw the tiger and they did not and they had a terrible guide. There was room in our jeep the night before but the agent did not follow through on our request. All of us were very upset about that. But all in all a fabulous trip and we were very well taken care of!!

This was an amazing trip! Having our own car and driver was a wonderful way to experience India. Sunny was an excellent driver and such a nice guy. The local guides were excellent. We especially enjoyed having a female guide in Agra. As two women traveling together, it was interesting to get a woman’s point of view. We also appreciated the help that Seema gave us before the trip. All in all, this was such an adventure and we both want to go back to see more of India.

I am extremely pleased with the itinerary the Cox & Kings representative, Ms. Seema Prakash, arranged for me. She considered that I am over 65, was traveling alone after a two week cruise in the Indian Ocean, and had less than one week to experience Jaipur and Agra. Not only did Ms. Prakash stay in contact with me, but also her associate in India, Ms. Soma Paul. The quality of my personal guides, my driver, Pradeep, and their care for me allowed me to confidently tour, knowing my security was paramount. Thank you for a trip I will never forget!

Our guide in Shanghai was fantastic. The Harbin guide was O K , not very personable.when We were at the airport and the flight was delayed, We had no Nobody, I mean nobody spoke English. The guide had already left We were really scared. If that flight was canceled, we would have been in trouble. I suggest that the guide stay at the airport until the flight takes off. Our stay at Beijing was uneventful.

We had a wonderful trip to Iceland! I give it 5 stars because of the guide. We were able to see parts of the landscape rarely seen by visitors, because of the his personal knowledge and the super jeep required to get there. The hotels were very nice as well, but the personalization of the tour and the quality of the guides are outstanding!

My wife and I had an amazing trip to Africa. We could not expect anything better. Will book again through Cox & Kings

I worked with the Los Angeles office to arrange a trip to northern India.

If I could rate Cox & Kings India, I would give them 5 stars. All the drivers and guides were excellent.

Unfortunately, the agent in Los Angeles didn't rate more than 3. We got incorrect information. Specifically, we asked about seeing a dance performances and were told there were none during the dates of our visit. Not so. There was a dance festival in one of our destination cities and with slight date juggling we could have been there. I felt that my questions were a nuisance. I never felt like a valued customer.

Very well organized a “seamless” experience. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and very supportive of our requests.
We are pleased with all facets of the trip.

Wonderful trip to Portugal!! Recommendations on hotels and itinerary were accurate. Guides and drivers were very professional and friendly.

We had a problem with our itinerary due to a flight delay, and Cox & Kings went out of their way to make up for the lost time. All of their guides and drivers were outstanding, and we plan on using them for all future overseas trips.

We visited many places in India for the first time with Cox & Kings. Absoutely loved the services they provided, from the hotels, to transportation, to air ticketing, to tour guides, to restaurants, to places of interest, to visas, and food... all of it. We were blown away every step of the way. Cox & Kings is definitely our first choice for any vacation travels from here on out. Highly recommend to any one who can afford.

The itinerary was excellent, the drivers and guides were also excellent. There were way too many miscellaneous handlers in between. Someone to help us check in to the hotel, someone to get us to the airport in addition to the driver. It would have been okay if they helped us with luggage even, but they relied on people at the airport and hotel to do that. And of course everyone in India expects a tip. I can see someone meeting us at the first airport and introducing us to the driver, after that, I know how to find the driver. The driver can connect us with the guide as well. It was very irritating to me as a seasoned traveler, but perhaps an older person or nervous traveler might appreciate it.

Cox and Kings' attention to detail and thoroughness really made the difference for us. We had a medical issue en route to Cape Town and they did a great job of coordinating with our local guide. We also had a flight delay on our way to Victoria Falls and they were great in making alternate arrangements so that we did not miss anything. Every part of our itinerary was absolutely first-class and we were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. We are experienced international travelers and really felt that they provided an experience that was superior in every way.
