Logistics and communication were excellent! Guides terrific. Accommodations great. Food outstanding. People fascinating. Local drivers crazy!

We had an amazing trip with outstanding accommodations, great experiences and wonderful people who guided us along the way. Extremely organized, which meant we didn't have to really think about anything, just enjoy!

We had the most amazing guide, Charlene, in Cape Town. She stayed with us for three days and is a wealth of knowledge and experience. Our visit would never have been the same with her, and we cannot say enough good things about her. All other transfers went as planned.

This was our first time using Cox & Kings, but it won't be our last. The trip was to Egypt for our 40th wedding anniversary and we had a fabulous time. We were so very pleased with everything about the trip. They left nothing to chance; everything was perfectly planned and everyone showed up as planned! We do travel abroad quite a bit and know what all can happen due to poor planning and/or communication or uncontrollable circumstances.
They even notified the hotels, cruise ship (Zahara) and the tour guides that we were there celebrating our anniversary. This was totally unexpected, but greatly appreciated. Everyone wished us a happy anniversary and the hotels and cruise ship surprised us with decorations on our bed and sweet treats and/or wine upon arrival or during our stay.
They definately went the extra mile to make this a very memorable trip!

This was the best trip we have ever taken. Every detail was taken care of to make our trip special. Hotels, guides, drivers, and food were all wonderful.

Our entire trip to Ireland was a pleasure. In particular, the driver/guide John Daily was out standing, as was the lady who took us on the walking tour though Dublin - forgot her name. The only recommendation we can make is to upgrade the friendliness of the person who picked us up at the airport - too stiff, no smile and not very welcoming.

Tour was well organized. Beginning our days at 10 and ending our touring by 5 was perfect!
The tour advertised that we would be making our own glass blowing creation in Murano. That didn't happen as we visited a factory and observed them making their own pieces. We enjoyed watching them work yet tour should not have advertised that we were going to do a hands on project of our own.
Hands on Cooking Class in Florence was fantastic!
My hotel rooms in Florence and Rome were not 4 star rooms even though the hotel was a 4 star hotel. A big thank you to Valeria, our in region contact for upgrading our rooms our last night in Rome. Favorite Hotel was the Parco dei Principi, the Alalfi Coast.
Loved our tour guides. They were informative and flexible.
Thank you to Michelle at Cox and Kings, CA office for being so patient during our booking process. She answered all our questions in a timely manner. I would recommend Michelle and this company to other people.

The hotels and places we visited were wonderful but China Eastern was late and we missed our connection make our trip home much harder than it should of been. You need to work with a different airline. We did see Tigers and they wher amazing, but the boat ride and drive to it where much to long and very unsafe.

The trip was great. Bawamni, our guide, was extremely effective. I recommend him highly. The Pretrip information was sketchy and the airport layovers were way too long.

I loved my trip to India our guide was wonderful. The itinerary was perfectly paced and so interesting. The hotels we're all great and the country was fascinating Also it was a very good value for all that we did. I would definitely travel with them again.

We are well seasoned travelers and this trip with Cox and Kings is by far the best experience we have ever had . Our guide Yogi was the best ! He is very knowledgeable and guided us all the way . He even checked in with us when we went on our own to Armistar. He was Amazing ! If you get a chance to have him as your guide you are very lucky . The hotels and all the Cox and Kings staff went above and beyond our expectations and gave us excellent service making our vacation to India magical . Thank You Vox and Kings we cant wait to travel with you again !

The following is a list of reasons I will never again use or recommend Cox & Kings:
-The scheduled pick-up at the airport was not scheduled. It took 12 phone calls (see reason for the numerous phone calls below) to get a ride from the airport to the hotel.
-The "local" emergency contact given in the paperwork was not local and was unable to help in any capacity. I called every single number in all the paperwork trying to find someone who could assist me. Cox & Kings is in a different time zone and was not available, nor do they have an emergency number available on their message. Mind you, I am paying international fees for every single phone call.
-In two cities when I attempted to check into the hotel I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled by my "agent". Again with the phone calls and international charges and hours of waiting and frustration on my holiday.
-The pick-up again was not scheduled in another city to take us from the train station to the hotel. We walked with our luggage.
-The pick-up on our final day to take us to the airport was again not scheduled and we paid for a taxi.
-The "four star" hotels were were more appropriately two or three stars.
-One of the hotels that was booked was a 50 min walk from the city center, a 15 min walk to the closes bus station or a $13USD taxi ride.

The repeated failure of Cox & Kings to fulfill the services they were paid for and absolute lack of support on the ground in a foreign country is ridiculous and simply unacceptable. This company made a holiday that I saved years for completely frustrating and disappointing at every turn.

Great trip and they were extremely responsive and helpful when we had a hotel mixup. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time on our trip and really enjoyed it. Great accommodations and excellent guides both in Moscow (Tatyana) and St. Petersburg (Vera).

The suggestion we have is for the company to get better arrangements upon arrival at St. Petersburg train station from Moscow - we had to walk with suitcases a long distance through a very hectic station and then through one of the busiest streets to get to our coach. In my opinion a porter could've been organized to load all the luggage and take it directly to the bus. We had a very busy morning in Moscow that day (excursions) and then a 4hr train ride - last thing one wants to do is mess with luggage upon arrival.

cox and kings prepared and executed an amazing itinerary to southeast asia for my son and i! everything went flawlessly from being met at every gate to hotels to guides... top notch!
they defiantly chose activities and accommodations that reflected the unique culture of the locations we travelled to. i would recommend them without reservation!

Cox & Kings were great arranging several tours. Our local driver and guide in Rio was awesome. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Our cooking class and tour guides in Cusco went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable.

The boutique hotel in Lima was absolutely lovely with 7 rooms and very comfy. They even had driver available there to drive us within a certain radius. They also went the extra mile to give us a hot spot when were away.

The only issue I had a problem was with our tour guide our last day in Lima. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable all day and we enjoyed our time. However, when it was time for her pick us up in the evening for the airport, she showed up over 1/2 hr early and sat in the entry of the boutique hotel within 8 ft of where my husband and I were trying to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and some appetizers. She obviously wanted us to leave early so she could get home. And we already were leaving over an hour earlier than the hotel recommended. She purposefully made it uncomfortable for us, knowing we’d just go. So I guzzled my wine and we left early. If she was not trying to intimidate us, she would have politely waited in the car with her driver. I really would have preferred to sit comfortably at the boutique hotel longer rather than at the airport 4 hours early. She was pushing us.

If this wouldn’t have happened, we would have given Cox & Kings a 5 star.

Great experience. Guides were very helpful and polite and always punctual.
