IF ANY DAMAGE HAPPENED RETURNING THEN I WOULD BE LIABLE. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE AS YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH IT EVEN IF DAMAGED THEIR GET OUT CLAUSE IS "THESE ARE HANDMADE AND THERE WILL BE IMPERFECTIONS". I DO NOT THINK AN ITEM BEING POORLY MADE IS AN IMPERFECTION.

Pale Wash Orb Table Lamp Siena Oatmeal Shade - What an amazing product AND utterly brilliant communication and service from the Cowshed team.
It looks beautiful on my sideboard, great quality and looks really unique because it is hand finished.

Customer service was above and beyond when I accidentally received the wrong lamps. Someone from the team came out and personally delivered the correct lamps within 24hours - and on a Sunday! The lamps are divine, they look so stylish and at such a great price.

Really delighted with my first purchase - a large rustic white vase/pot. It was expertly packed so arrived in perfect condition. Has exceeded expectations!

I'm completely obsessed with Cowshed Interiors now! Just received my first order and the quality of the products is even better than I expected for the price - really impressed. Easy to order through the website, great communication from order through to delivery and packed beautifully (and sustainably - thanks Matthew!). I now have a long and growing wish list so will definitely be buying again from them.

I don't normally leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so this time. Lisa spent considerable time talking me through options for a lampstand and various shades, putting different shades on the stands, emailing me photos of them so I could choose which I preferred and her husband went out of his way to hand deliver the items to me. This company not only sells nice products but provide excellent customer service.We had a minor issue, not of their making, but they went the extra mile to resolve. We really appreciated this high standard of customer care and have no hesitation recommending this company.

I am pleased to write this review as the the lampshades purchased were exactly what I had wanted good quality.although they didn't quite fit the after sales service quickly sent me a conversion kit so now they can fit now two sizes of lampshades a win win.

I bought the Large Ribbed Distressed Table Lamp with White Linen Shade. It arrived promptly and I was utterly delighted with it - apart from the slightly damaged shade. The problem was rectified immediately with the utmost efficiency and attentiveness. The service from start to finish was first class. I definitely recommend Cowshed Interiors and will happily shop there again.

Loved many items viewed on the website. I contacted cowshed and received amazing customer service, all questions answered and extremely helpful comments and suggestions. Such proactive attention is rare these days, and the assistance was faultless. Then when my parcels arrived it was huge excitement to see the contents and I was not disappointed, all packaged so well and concisely that everything (including some very fragile items) arrived in 100% condition. Couldn't be happier with this online buying experience and I shall return to Cowshed again and again when looking for interior items. :)

Purchased a Gustavian Antique White Distressed Stool at a cost of £157.50 which included £12.50 delivery charges.
First impressions were good as the item arrived in a few days by DPD - and initially seemed to have been packed well enough.
On removing the wrapping etc however, we discovered that the one of the arm pieces (the chair required some assembly) was broken, where the glue holding the piece together had obviously failed.
I've previously read the reviews for this company (good and bad) and in particular those which refer to their warehouse manager insisting that customers claim courier insurance for damage goods. I am also not impressed with paying £12.50 to have this broken item delivered and then having to pay further carriage costs to return it for a refund - from which delivery costs would then be deducted! With those kinds of policies, there was not a chance that I was going to stress myself by trying to arrange a return/refund for such a large item.
I have been able to repair the chair to a decent standard myself using wood-glue, clamps and thin nails.
I'm now tentatively expecting to be bombarded with copies of positive reviews by this company in their response - which seems to be their Modus Operandi when anyone submits something negative about them.

Well Cowshed Interiors - this is an unsolicited and unrequested review so take this one on the chin - your quality control & return/refund procedure leave a lot to be desired.
This has not been a pleasant shopping experience and I shall definitely NOT be using Cowshed Interiors again.

I am not about to engage in a tit-for-tat table tennis match regarding this.
To address their points in order:-
They insist in their response that the damage was caused in transit. Where is the proof of that? The item was so well packed on arrival that we must consider that it may have been packed faulty. Hence the original comment about quality control. The packaging contained a card with the order no and "packed by" a named member of staff.
I did not contact them regarding the broken item because - as stated in the original review - I wasn't prepared to go through the stress of repackaging the item, taking it to a Post Office etc then having to wait for replacement - taking into account previous customers bad experiences with the process regarding goods damaged in transit and having to claim the courier etc - and the company response to them. I didn't feel at all confident that the matter would be resolved to my satisfaction and wasn't prepared to sacrifice the time and energy that it would take.
They must understand that a review is a customer's opinion.
Suffice to say - the response and an attempt to block the review has just confirmed that I shall never use this company again.

Firstly, I can not understand the two recent bad reviews. with regards to damaged goods, it is always possible that this was down to the couriers. I have seen how many of them pack their vans!

Our experience has been excellent. We are delighted with the two lamps we ordered. Lisa had gone out of her way to get them to us in a short space of time, despite lockdown.

Lisa herself, couldn’t have been more helpful and was charming. Customer service at its best.

We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I ordered a faux Orchid. When received the box was smashed & the orchid looked like it had been thrown into it without care or any additional wrapping to keep the petals safe etc. At a cost of £79 & £6.95 p&p it wasn't exactly cheap but to make matters worse it was nothing like the photos advertising the product. It was smaller too.
When one of the managers suggested the plant could be adjusted by removing the ties & blamed their suppliers for it being smaller too. I felt rather peturbed & disappointed by such attitude.
I also felt that she resented me complaining & wanted me to disappear & so refunded my money without offering the exact product that she advertises.
I've since found the same product online & cheaper. It's also measures as the dimensions advertised - RESULT but not from Cowshedinteriors!

PS: December 27th 2020 - a response from Cowshedinteriors suggests I should read 'positive' reviews. Allow me to remind you that reviews are there as a tool to use to inform other unsuspecting potential customers! I simply would not wish for others to be as disappointed as I was or indeed ripped off!

Perfect. Item exactly as described and delivered within 48 hours of ordering - wasn’t expecting that! Very, very well packaged and clear instructions about returns. Extremely happy with my purchase and the service received from Cowshed Interiors. Would definitely order from them again.

I purchased two lamps for a friend for her Christmas present and one of them arrived with a damaged lampshade. Lisa at Cowshed could not have been more helpful if she tried. She responded immediately to my call and follow up emails even though we were in the middle of the Christmas break and was onto the suppliers the moment they opened in the New Year.
She had the damaged lampshade collected within a couple of days at our convenience and is finding alternatives to suit as the supplier doesn't provide the shades separately.
Great product, superb customer service, would definitely recommend and use them again.
