Really helpful company. Phoned up a couple of times with questions, and was answered promply by a very knowledgeable lady.

I now have a very comfortable matress which exactly fits my odd sized bed.

Ordered a king size Vegan Luxury Non-Turn mattress which arrived. Some embroidery was missed though, so I emailed them to confirm I had received the right mattress. They replied yes, but they have stopped doing the full embroidery (due to machining difficulty). I wasn't happy with this as the picture on their website clearly showed the full embroidery. They offered a pittance of a partial refund which I begrudgingly accepted. Still haven't received the refund over a week later and my reply email was ignored. The bed is of decent quality, but cutting corners and telling customers after the fact is poor, ignoring them and their refunds is even worse.

Excellent communication. There was a problem with the delivery, the courier turned up without the item. My query was dealt with in a timely manner.

Great customer service. Communicated throughout from purchase all the way up to delivery. Company offered to delay delivery until closer to my due date.
I highly recommend this company.

Good quality mattress protector, very smooth feel and premium cotton looks. My daughter was very happy to have it on her mattress.

Great advice given at the showroom with no pressure. The mattress is very comfortable and the order was completed within the timeframe. The couriers used were very pleasant and got the mattress upstairs despite our restricted access in our old house.

We purchased a children’s mattress. Very pleased with it. After researching we wanted a non toxic product for our young daughter. As a nutritional therapist and having studied environmental toxins this was important to us. The customer service we received was also above and beyond. We shall gradually replace all our mattresses with cottonsafe when finances allow.

UPDATE as of May 2024: I contacted the company, and they managed to resolve the issue of colour to my satisfaction. Rebecca, in particular, was very helpful.

Based on this experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend this family-run business. In fact, I am just about to order another mattress from them, but this time I am specifying the colour based on the swatch!

A company that cares so much about its customers and reputation will be successful. I absolutely wish them the best of luck. However, I sincerely hope that they find a new photographer to do the swatches!

I have some mixed feelings about my recent experience with this company. I initially sought a non-toxic mattress, and while I hoped this one would meet that criterion, there have been some challenges.

On the 18th of Feb, I placed an order through their website, opting for a custom size in the darkest brownish-grey (Carrera Pewter).

It was delivered on the 1st of March. Upon unpacking, it became apparent that the color was vastly different from what was displayed on the website, appearing as a light grey instead of the expected dark brownish-grey.

I promptly reached out to customer service, and they were gracious enough to send several buttons in the specified color for comparison.

Surprisingly, the buttons' color matched the advertised shade, but the issue persisted, as there remained a significant disparity between the displayed color on their site and the actual product.

Advice to other buyers - order the swatch before ordering the whole mattress. The swateches they display on their website are completely off!

Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the mattress I purchased. It is described as firm on the website and it simply isn't. I did contact the company in regards to returning the product but the only option was to buy another mattress at a much higher press (and as also described as 'firm' I'm not sure it would have been any better. A real shame as I think the efforts made by the company towards making more environmentally friendly mattresses are commendable.

I can recommend Cottonsafe Natural Mattress. I ordered a futon sofa mattress. They kindly sent a sample of the mattress to check I could tolerate it first (as I have MCS). The mattress was delivered on time. It was well made and very good quality. I got lots of aftercare advice, to keep the mattress at its best. I will order from them again if I need any more mattresses of any kind.

I really like that this company are a UK business and manufacture here in the UK too. That they have good ethics on producing products that have health and the environment in mind.

Amazing medium Appledore mattress, just so so comfortable. We initially ordered a firm, but it was a bit too firm for us and we were able to exchange it for a medium within their 40 day trial period. Really friendly and super organised small company. Delivery company they use was great, lots of communication and delivery and exchange was smooth.

Do it, you won't regret it!
