Prompt delivery of organic wool mattress - the wool smell I liked tbh and it’s not overwhelming and settled down - just pull back the covers for a few days. I love the fact that I know there’s no chemicals, and want to replace all the families mattresses asp!

Prompt delivery,well packaged. Good natural firm mattress. Grandaughter sleeps well on it.

The third vegan mattress we have bought from this company. Most mattresses contain wool, and many mattresses today are made of memory foam, which we have tried, but don't like. We were initially very pleased to discover this company several years ago, as they supply conventional pocket-sprung mattresses that are vegan, and were very happy with the mattress we purchased. We have subsequently bought two further mattresses. This review relates to our third purchase.

This is the 3rd Cottonsafe mattress we bought. This one was for our adult grandson and he says it's the best night's sleep he's had in ages.

Actually, everyoe who sleeps on these mattresses say how ery comfortable they are.

Very happy with our mattress, really comfortable and love that it is made of all natural materials with no toxins. Customer service also great, honest family run business.

Really pleased to not be sleeping on chemicals. Was in need of a new mattress this was worth the extra money to not feel like im breathing in chemicals every night. Does take a long time to arrive but to be expected with a handmade mattress. It's a comfortable mattress and I really enjoy the wool smell. Smells like pure gold to me.

It was a good experience from ordering it, getting it delivered and now from having used it for some time.
It is the best mattress ive owned, I suffer from chronic illnesses and the difference from my old mattress to this one is a big difference in pain management for me.
Its firm but so huggable in the best way.
I will be eventually getting more for the other beds in the house.
I love the ethics and wanted something more safer.

We bought a small double mattress for our daughter. The company replied my emails well on time and was very helpful. We were well informed about delivery time and that was arranged easy with no issues. Mattress is very high quality and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic, super comfortable futon. The smell disappeared within 5 days and I am super sensitive to smells. I now started enjoying sleeping on the floor again next to my son's bed :)

Amazing products, helpful team. We bought a double sized mattress for our toddler to put in his new floor bed. It arrived super quickly. Feels nice and soft (but not too soft). Also, it's great knowing that it is chemical free and made from only natural materials. Will be looking to get a mattress for the adults next.

Comfortable and long wearing, this is the third mattress we’ve purchased as we are slowly switching all of our beds to flame retardant free mattresses. Looking forward to trying a non-turn version.

My son treated me to a new mattress last year. We are a vegan family and I was looking for a chemical-free option so chose the 'vegan choice'. One year of fantastic nights sleep later and I still take a moment to appreciate the comfort each time I lie down! Highly recommend!

This review is after I decided to change the first mattress I bought with the same company. The first mattress, a non organic wool Widecombe mattress, had way too much odour for us that wouldn't dissipate. My daughter's room, her pyjamas and her hair would smell of sheep. The odour didn't really diminish after 1 month and I asked several people to confirm that it wasn't just me feeling the sheep scent and they all did. I decided to exchange the mattress for another one because that was my only option since I opened the mattress and my daughter had used it (I only started using it because in the documents I got from the company it said that the smell would dissipate and I trusted them). The only smell free option was the synthetic ('vegan') option which it was too far from what I originally wanted to buy, so I decided to go for an Appledore with an upgrade to organic wool (a bit less smelly). I paid for the delivery and the upgrade to organic wool (extra ~£200). I think the Appledore is a bit better. It still smells but not as bad as the Widecombe. Overall I wouldn't buy from this company again. I understand that you want the wool not to be heavily treated but I think there is a big difference between getting the wool directly from the sheep (with sweat, bacteria and dirt) and having it bleached. I received another wool sample from another company (wool was also not bleached) and the smell was not there. Unfortunately I couldn't go for them because I could only exchange the mattress and not get a refund. I thought it should have been clearer that the smell would not dissipate with time. If I had known this I wouldn't have used the mattress and I would have got a refund.

SIMPLY THE BEST. Made in UK with materials from UK. No fire retardant chemicals or any other chemicals added. Peace of mind and above all excellent sleeping comfort. I now have 4 mattresses and mattress protectors. Recommending to others. Oh and it is a pleasure to talk to the dedicated staff on the phone.
