Dr Meriem Martin at Harley street London, cosmetic clinic is very experienced and knowledgeable in her field of aesthetic surgical procedures, I have been her patient for many years and throughout and always have a very impressive and positive result in my appearance which is helping me regain my lost confidence.
My skin condition and loss of elasticity has improved dramatically reverting back to my good skin appearance of previous years
Dr Meriem for each treatment and during each consultation, has clearly explained each step of the proposed procedures which she has tailored to suit my skin and appearance, including Botox. threading and recently Derma- fillers to improve the elasticity in my stressed out skin from past years.
The results have been very impressive for me and I am very pleased because I wasn’t expecting such good results in a short space of time from each treatment.
I have regained my confidence and am very happy with the great improvement in my skin condition and it’s elasticity, which is much firmer and more youthful,

I almost don’t want to write this review because clinics like this are rare, and once word gets out, they’ll be fully booked.
Rachael is the real deal. Not the polished, sales-driven version you often get in aesthetics, but someone with genuine integrity. I asked about a couple of additional treatments and fully expected the usual upsell. Instead, she calmly explained why I didn’t need them. No fluff, no pressure, no agenda. Just honesty. That alone sets her apart.
And here’s the thing: she looks incredible. Not overdone, not artificial, just naturally, effortlessly good. You can see the standard of her work before she even touches you, which immediately builds trust.
Skill-wise, she’s precise, confident, and completely in control of what she’s doing. But what really stayed with me was how she made me feel. Warm, at ease, and actually cared for, not processed. By the end, we hugged, and it didn’t feel awkward or forced, it just felt human. That says a lot.

The reception team (Laura and Madison)deserves proper credit too. Efficient, switched on, and genuinely helpful. I asked a few questions and instead of fobbing me off, they moved, checked, and came back with proper answers. That level of attention is rarer than it should be.
Bottom line: if you want someone who will tell you the truth, not just sell to you, and deliver results with real skill, this is where you go.

I recently saw Tara at the Cosmetic skin clinic as I was feeling like my mid and lower face was showing signs of aging. I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what it was that I didn’t like, just that I felt I looked older. Tara was fantastic and talked me through which areas would benefit from some treatment and I am delighted with the outcome. We’ve made a treatment plan for some future treatments so I can plan for maintaining what I’ve had done. Highly recommend the Tara and her support team.

Had two treatments, on a haggard tired jowly face! Coolsculpting to try to minimise a double chin and dermal fillers to lift and pad in all the right places. Super happy with the results! A great clinic, all the staff are lovely and the two clinicians Magda and Tara are both brilliant at what they do.

I love my experience with the Private Clinic, the staff are always so attentive and caring, the building is always beautiful and clean, Marie who did my treatment is so wonderful, I can contact her with any queries and she responds very quickly, I would highly recommend to anyone.

It was the most terrible experience I had in my life. Bad timing, terrible service, bad smell really unprofessional.

I honestly can’t recommend Anna enough. I was quite nervous about having treatments at first, but she made me feel completely at ease from the very beginning. She’s so caring and really listens to what you want, never making you feel rushed or pressured into anything. She’s incredibly knowledgeable too, not just about injectables, but about health in general, which made me feel even more confident in her hands.

The results are always so natural and friends often say I look well but can’t quite tell what’s changed, which is exactly what I wanted.

I'm thrilled at choosing the Cosmetic skin care clinic and even more thrilled with Rachael, she is truly exceptional. From the very first appointment, she has been incredibly professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. Her expertise in this field is obvious and she takes the time to explain everything clearly while making you feel completely at ease. I wouldn't trust my skin with anyone else; Rachael is beyond brilliant and areal credit to the clinic.

I had Ultherapy with Dr Anju Mehta and its been brilliant. Dr Mehta explained everything really clearly and was great at pinpointing the best treatment for me. The treatment itself was pain free after the numbing cream had been applied and 3mths on the results have been amazing!

My experience with Tara has been fantastic. She’s so knowledgeable, kind and understanding. She has transformed how I feel about myself and boosted my confidence. She never pushes for a procedure if she doesn’t think it will make a genuine difference. I trust her so much and I feel really grateful to have met her. Would absolutely recommend her. She is brilliant.

I did a consultation with Dr Garett in June 2025. After the consultation the doctor recommended the treatment plan. I opted for polynucleotides. After the injection I started having migraines. The doctor said that they are unrelated. I went to another clinic and they confirmed that's a possible reaction due to the poor technique.

I would say you’re a miracle worker Tara. But in reality you just really know what you’re doing. I’m very glad I found you. I’ve got the confidence now, that I’ve never had before. Thank you

I’ve been a loyal patient of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic for a long time and have referred many friends. My recent experience, however, has completely destroyed my trust in this practice — not only in the front office, but also in the senior doctors.

After a service issue, I was offered a complimentary treatment as a goodwill gesture. Dr. Christou told me directly that there was no required timeframe to redeem it (despite the front office staff initially saying there was) and that I should only do the treatment when it was clinically appropriate. I relied on that guidance.

When I later tried to book it, the clinic refused to honour the offer. What followed were weeks of back-and-forth emails with Jo and the front office team. The communication was repeatedly dismissive, avoided addressing the actual issue, and relied on shifting administrative explanations rather than taking responsibility for the contradictory guidance I had been given.

Most disappointingly, neither Dr. Christou nor Dr. Matthew stepped in to correct the situation or to acknowledge the role that clinical advice played in this. Their lack of accountability reflects poorly on the clinic’s leadership.

For a place that markets itself as trustworthy and patient-focused, this experience showed the opposite. I can no longer recommend them. And I'm sharing this to hopefully help others avoid a similar experience.

I had a Coolsculpting procedure done and it was a great experience. I had previously had Micro Lipo and wanted a less invasive procedure with little or no downtime. From the moment I met Ria Murch who was doing the procedure she completely put me at ease with her very warm and friendly manner. She explained everything in detail and was happy to answer any questions I had. On the day of my procedure Ria was amazing talking me through everything that was happening and making sure I was comfortable during everything. After the procedure ended Ria explained any aftercare I needed to do and arranged follow up appointments to see my progress. I'm happy to say the procedure was a success and I would not hesitate to have another procedure at the Clinic who offer first class treatments with exceptional and professional staff. Thanks Ria.

I’ve been doing my monthly hydrafacial and lasering sessions with Rumyana Atanasova. She is professional, caring, friendly, and explains each step clearly throughout the process. Rumyana is able to identify problem areas for my skin and provide solutions. Thanks to the treatment and her guidance my skin has been looking more hydrated, clearer and has fewer blemishes. I look forward to each session and hope to continue in the future.

I recently had full face rejuvenation with dermal fillers by Tara Jackson RN and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Her years of experience and incredible skill truly show—my face looks naturally refreshed and balanced, without looking overdone. She knew exactly what was needed to achieve the best outcome, and the whole process was seamless. I couldn’t recommend her more highly !

I’ve been a client of The Cosmetic Skin Clinic for ten years. When my regular practitioner was on maternity leave, I was treated by another doctor in July 2025. Unfortunately, something went wrong, and my appearance has been negatively affected since. The clinic has not put this right, has refused a refund, and has now withdrawn their previous offer of free corrective treatment.

My formal complaint has been escalated to ISCAS (Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service) for independent review. When these issues are resolved, I will update my review accordingly.

Update 05/03/2026 The adjudication process took many months and concluded with a recommendation from ISCAS that the clinic make a goodwill payment of £250 after finding that aspects of the complaint handling did not meet the required standards. Neither corrective treatment or a refund were provided. Patients should be aware that the scope of the ISCAS process is limited. It focuses on complaint handling rather than the clinical outcome of treatment, and it cannot require clinics to provide corrective treatment or refunds.

Update March 2026:
Following escalation to the CEO of The Private Clinic Group, the £250 goodwill payment recommended by ISCAS has now been provided and I have been offered a further appointment with Dr Christou free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.

I appreciate this response after escalation to senior management. However, neither corrective treatment nor a refund had previously been provided during the complaints process itself, and the outcome only progressed after independent adjudication and escalation.

Dr Anju Mehta is amazing. I have been suffering with lines around my mouth for a long time. Having tried many different treatments Dr Anju took time to assess me and offered a unique treatment. We carried it out last Friday and although its only 4 days since the procedure I can already see a big difference. The lines are softer and as the next few weeks go by the result will only get better. I highly recommend Dr Anju Mehta and I will be having more treatments with her in the future.
