I would give them zero stars if that could be possible. They did the end of tenancy clean for a house I was leaving, the check out inventory highlighted several issues that I notified to them. I called them to chase and they said they were replying to my email, that never happened. I had to call (and pay) another agency to rectify their defects. NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!

The cleaners never came in and after repeated emails and calls to confirm where they were, the team comes back saying someone fell ill and they had to take the person to the hospital which was definitely a Lie. I asked them to call me up to discuss and sort something out, they never called, when I called didn't pick up my calls or even reply to my emails.

It was my last day of tenancy and I had to extend it for few days to get someone else in to perform the cleaning and pay all that extra monies for urgent cleaning and extension of tenancy.

Worst possible cleaning services around. Totally avoid them, not reliable at all.

We paid £195 for a full end of tenancy clean including carpet cleaning. When a check-out inspection was carried out by the clerk a few days later it was noted that it was cleaned to a domestic standard (not professionally) with several omissions such as greasy residue left on surfaces, cobwebs not removed, curtains and carpets not cleaned professionally along with other issues such as grubby marks remaining on surfaces. Unfortunately I was unable to inspect the clean myself before or after, but my flatmate had said we could have done a better job ourselves.
We then had to fight for our deposit back with the landlord as he wanted it fully cleaned again, but we'd already paid this company for it. Only after did i look them up and saw the bad reviews they have, and I can only add to them.

Please don’t use Citi Clean for an end of tenancy cleaning service- it’s a scam!

My quote stated that a cleaner and a supervisor would attend for 4-5 hrs, but only 1 cleaner came and spent 2.5 hrs “cleaning”. She didn’t follow the checklist they provide- floors weren’t washed, cupboards not cleaned, appliances weren’t done and worktops hadn’t even been wiped clean.

When I pointed this out, the cleaner simply went round with a dirty cloth over the spots I mentioned, making various exclamations and huffing and puffing. Against my better judgment I paid her- she was becoming increasingly agitated and it was a very uncomfortable situation. She called her supervisor, who said she’d come back if there were issues with the inventory.

I emailed Citi Clean with photos of the flat post-“clean”, but they never responded. My boyfriend and I ended up cleaning the flat ourselves, despite having paid £100 for someone else to do it for us. Avoid at all costs- they’ll do a terrible job, take your money, then disappear.

£149 for end of tenancy clean which I thought would be a reasonable amount for a professional clean.
this is not a professional cleaning company and once you have used them they do not respond to any queries that you may have.
They say they will send a certain amount of people to clean the flat however they only sent one which in return is still the amount of time cleaning but with and unsatisfying result.
I was silly enough not to read the reviews so this is why I’m doing one myself and as you can see I’m not the only one.

My landlord did not approve the cleaning and when I called Simply Clean about it they refused to do anything about it. They were very rude and basically told me to "shut up and stop complaining". Do not hire them!

Citi Clean:DO NOT use this company. After leaving stains on the floor, and in the bathroom, and having to shell £99 for an end of tenancy clean, I was greeted with rude customer service. Not even an apology. It does not matter that your policy says customers should notify you within a certain amount of time, have the audacity to provide some form of apology - and do not be rude!

Appalling service and really filthy. You wont get your deposit back if you use them

Simply cleaning did an amazing job. The staff of this company are also very timely, reliable and professional at their work. They did their job at my highest level of satisfaction. Thanks a lot for that service

I have hired clean simply Service for an apartment move-out cleaning.
For starters, when I made the reservation, the lady on the phone was kind enough to squeeze me into a better timeframe that worked for me, even though they had a busy schedule.

When the time came for the scheduled clean, the kind lady who was doing the cleaning was extremely accommodating in regards to some of the stuff we still had left to move out. She cleaned around everything that was too big to move or just lifted things up, cleaned, and put them back down.

Due to it being the holidays, my parents were coming in from out-of-town so I needed my apartment cleaned fast. Clean simple moved heaven and earth and arranged for cleaning service. Not only that, but due to my coming and the 2 little dogs I let run the house, the place was in HORRIBLE shape - much worse than I thought. clean simply sent the best team "team 10" they took on the challenge and worked until the place was SPARKLING!

My cleaner arrived on time and got to work immediately. She was even gracious when I had to step into the bathroom to change the shower head and got my dirty footprints on the floor and tub that she had just finished cleaning. The next day when I came back for my walk-through everything was exceptionally clean, even cleaner than when I first moved in!

Really good experience using this service and would recommend for any students needing an apartment cleaning before move out.

I had Clean Simply/ Citi Clean come to clean my flat. I took the End of Tenancy package.

They arrived 40 minutes late and only gave me 5 minutes notice of their late arrival. They did not clean the floors in the hallway or in the living room and they did not clean inside one of the cupboards. They left a rubbish bag open outside my front door on a balcony. When I arrived at the flat, the rubbish bag had fallen over and all the paper had been blown all over the balcony and street. I contacted the company twice to inform them of my dismay and there has been no reply.

I am overall quite disappointed with the service received.

They are a scam... used their end of tenancy service paid 150£ for a nothing the house is still uncleaned, they did not clean my wooden floor, the mattress and carpet steam cleaning is very bad, speaking with the rep over the phone he just hung off the line they stopped replying on my number and I still have 48h guarantee!!!

We hired them to donour end of tenancy cleaning and the job was done to a really horrible standard. Windows and doors were left uncleaned. Floor wasn't mooped, there was dirt lying all over on the floor. Furniture wasn't wiped cleaned. Inside of the cupboards was left dirty. Limescale wasn't removed in both kitchen and the bathroom. Fridge, oven and the hob were left dirty.

While booking the aetvice they gave us a 48 hour guarantee to redo the service if anybproblems arise. When we asked them to re-do it they completely refused and blamed us. Really bad customer service, the guy on the phone was rude and abusive.

The inventory company asked us to get the cleaning done all over again. We could have done a better job in cleaning the house than their self acclaimed "professional cleaners".

Worst cleaning firm ever to deal with. Left place in a terrible state & only did about 30% of what they promise on their website. On calling them they lied saying they couldn't hoover as there was no electricity yet our decorator who let them in said the electricity was working fine & I have electricity bills to prove it. They then went on to say that the grease not cleaned off & mess left was untrue even though I have photo evidence to prove it. DO NOT EVER USE THIS FORM CITI CLEAN AKA CLEAN SIMPLY

Terrible service. We had them perform a end of tenancy clean and the clean simply wasn't to standard. As such we look to lose part of our deposit.

We have complained about their service and asked them to revisit the flat (which we have 14 days to do). They have ignored all of our emails and our calls. Funnily enough they picked up after my girlfriend called from a withheld number. After over a week, we are still waiting for a response.

Do not use this company!

Aside from the substandard clean, they also locked themselves out of our flat mid clean and I had to courier a spare key over to them whilst at work. They have not been apologetic or looked to resolve the matter at all.

I called the company for an End of Tenancy cleaning 2 days in advance and everything was fine as we arranged a date. Then, as something occurred and I would not be in on that day, I called to change my booking from Tuesday to Thursday. The manager yelled at me on the phone, called me unprofessional and childish because I did not notify him earlier. I kindly explained that something had occurred and it was not my fault, and i apologized. He then continued yelling at me, being rude and calling me different names. He then HUNG UP on me. WORST behaviour ever. I live in London for 5 years now and this is the most rude phone call I had ever had. Shocked. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED. Use any other cleaning company available, but this one.
