Please avoid the business

Please avoid the business. Bad customer service and very dishonest. I sent in a pair of shoes for mould cleaning. Few hours before sending the shoes, I sent in the photos of the shoes with visible mould in the exterior and insoles of the shoes.

I received a quotation of £235 for deep mould cleaning two days later. I decided not to proceed and my shoes were sent back two days later. The shoes appeared to be polished with ripped insoles that were not ripped when I sent them in.

I approached them about the ripped insoles because I assumed during inspection they ripped the insole to examine the extent of the mould damage. They claimed they didn’t rip the sole and the shoes arrived with no visible mould on it.

I didn’t clean the shoes, why would I clean shoes I want professionally cleaned. I asked if it is possible someone else cleaned the shoes in the workshop. I packaged the shoes in a sealed envelope. The shoes were clearly mouldy and I have photos to prove it.

They suggested the insoles were damaged from Chanel professional cleaning. These shoes have never sent to Chanel or any other shoe professional for cleaning.
They charged £235 for mould cleaning and restoration but they claimed there was no visible mould on the shoes and did not carry any inspections on the insoles.
Upon asking all the necessary questions, I was threatened with legal actions for false allegations.
Stay away from this business, really bad customer service and very dishonest.
I sent my shoes in a well sealed envelope but when I decided not to proceed, they sent it back in a torn plastic bag. That says a lot about how they operate.

Would Never Use This Service Again

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.

I paid over £380 for cleaning and repair services, trusting this business with multiple valuable items, and received back damaged shoes, an altered handbag, and unnecessary stress throughout the entire process. One pair of shoes was even missing during delivery and only reappeared after repeated chasing and arguments.

The shoes were returned with damage that was not present before, and my metallic silver handbag was repainted in a completely different finish despite assurances given beforehand.

What made the experience worse was the complete lack of accountability — questioning whether the shoes were even mine, shifting blame onto the material, and refusing to take responsibility despite clear before and after evidence.

I genuinely regret using this service and would never recommend it to anyone.

My review reflects my genuine experience and the condition in which my items were returned.

The issue with the handbag was not “fingerprints” — it was that the finish and overall appearance had visibly changed from the original condition despite prior assurances that the metallic finish would remain. The before and after images clearly show this.

With regard to the shoes, I provided photographs showing the condition before and after your service. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, I was asked whether they were even the same shoes, despite there already having been an issue with a missing pair during delivery which only reappeared after repeated chasing.

At no stage was any meaningful accountability, compensation, or resolution offered despite over 380 being paid for the services provided.

Customers are entitled to leave honest reviews based on their experience, and unfortunately mine was extremely disappointing.

My final response-

My review remains an honest reflection of my experience and the condition in which my items were returned to me.
Regardless of the explanations now being provided publicly, I paid over £380 for services and remain extremely dissatisfied with both the outcome and the way the situation was handled afterwards.
I also do not believe the tone and repeated public responses reflect professionalism towards a dissatisfied customer.
I have nothing further to add on the matter, although I appreciate that readers can form their own conclusions from the continued responses provided.

We do not believe this review presents a full or balanced reflection of the overall client relationship or the documented facts surrounding this matter.

This client had previously used our services on multiple occasions without issue, however none of the successfully completed orders or prior positive interactions have been acknowledged within the review. Instead, the review focuses solely on disputed claims while omitting relevant context and documentation.

In relation to the handbag, at no stage was a factory-original finish promised. The agreed outcome was a reflective metallic/chrome-style restoration, which is how the bag was returned. We hold before-and-after photographs confirming this, including images shared with the client before payment was made. The concerns later raised related primarily to fingerprints and general appearance rather than any confirmed technical fault or evidence that the colour itself had materially changed.

With regards to the shoes, the photographs later presented showed staining and damage that could already be seen within the client’s own before photographs. Additionally, damage later referenced was not present on the pair documented upon receipt by our team. When these discrepancies were raised and clarification requested, they were not acknowledged or constructively addressed during the investigation process.

We also wish to clarify that the temporary delivery issue referenced was the result of a driver error during a diverted route. Once identified, the pair was located and re-delivered within approximately 30 minutes of communication. At the time, our ownership and handling of the issue was acknowledged positively.

During this process, we were also asked to reprimand our driver despite the fact he is a valued and honest member of our team who acted quickly to rectify a genuine human error. As a business, we do not believe in persecuting staff members for isolated mistakes when the matter was resolved promptly and professionally.

It is also worth noting that the shoes involved in the temporary delivery issue have not actually been criticised in relation to the service or workmanship itself within these continued updates. The complaint surrounding that specific pair related to the delivery situation rather than the quality of the completed service provided on the shoes themselves.

Despite repeated public edits to the review, there has been very limited willingness to engage cooperatively towards an amicable resolution or fairly address the documented inconsistencies raised throughout the investigation. The final message sent to us also stated there was “nothing further to discuss on the matter”, despite us continuing to attempt to clarify the concerns raised professionally.

The suggestion that our responses are “unprofessional” simply because we have chosen to publicly defend ourselves is unfair. As a business, we fully accept every customer’s right to leave feedback. However, we also have every right to respond where we believe misleading, unfair, discriminatory, or unjust claims are being made against our company and staff.

We have proudly served our community for over 6 years and have worked extremely hard to build our reputation through honest work, professionalism, and care for our clients’ items. We will always respond professionally to criticism, but we will not quietly accept accusations that we believe are inaccurate or damaging without providing our side of the situation.

Gave my Loro Piana for cleaning

Gave my Loro Piana for cleaning. They came to pick it up and dropped it off within a week. Shoes came back really nicely cleaned and it was super affordable compared to the competitors price as well. Would give my other shoes for cleaning next time as well.

Re-dye - Hermes espadrilles…

Re-dyed a pair of Hermes espadrilles for me. The attention to detail and finish were both excellent. For a reasonable price this has given these shoes a totally new lease of life and years more use ahead - a worthwhile cost investment to prolong the life of expensive pieces. The communication and service the company delivered was also very good indeed. Would definitely use again.
