Such a quirky and unique place to stay. Loved the cosy moon conker and the peaceful surroundings were just a perfect way to spend the day and stargazing was the perfect way to spend the evening.
Facilities were back to basics in keeping with the ethos of the Chillderness but had everything you’d need for a truly unforgettable break.
Beautiful Llaregubb.
Llaregubb is an idyllic house. Stylish, comfortable, well thought through for every need. Well stocked kitchen, cookery books, games and outstanding views over the beach and harbour of beautiful Saundersfoot. No need to go far sandy beach, clean sea water, great restaurants( lan y mor, the stone crab, beach coffee shops) . Like to keep a secret but Anjana deserves success!

Chalet F'Net is a unique chalet in the forest high above St. Gervais les Bains. Guests are supported in summer by the lovely host Victoria who lives in a smaller chalet next to F'Net. She's on hand to provide help and guidance, and, when available (which was more often than not) willing to come and collect us from the car park when we had returned from a day out.
Whilst I've been to the Chamonix area many times I'd never been to St Gervais before. It's a lovely, small town with a selection of restaurants and shops. From St Gervais access to the mountains can be made via the Mont Blanc Tramway. A beautiful slow ride through the forest leading to the stunning area I was skiing in just 6 months ago. Relaxing beneath Mont Blanc, or walking along the mountain tracks was wonderful!
Chalet F'Net has two bedrooms - ground floor (where we slept) and on the second floor (which is accessed by wooden ladders). The living and kitchen area are on the first floor and offer everything you need for a holiday. There are two baths, one in the bathroom/toilet adjacent to the groundfloor bedroom with a handheld shower attached to it. The other antique-style bath is in the same room as the second floor bedroom. Toilet facilities for those sleeping on the second floor are accessed via the ladders down to the first floor, adjacent to the kitchen (could be a bit tricky, I imagine, if you need to go in the middle of the night!). Both bedrooms are well appointed. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. There are several outdoor options for lounging and eating.
Sitting on the chairs outside the front of the chalet there are views westwards which are absolutely lovely. The temperature was very high whilst we were in St Gervais so the relative coolness of the location of Chalet F'Net in the early evening was most welcome.
To access the parking area in the grounds of Chalet F'Net visitors need a four-wheel drive, or take a 12 minute steep walk up a rough track which starts at a car park where we left our vehicle, and continues high into the forest. Starting the walk felt like a real challenge, especially when we'd spent earlier in the day doing a lovely walk elsewhere in the region. Completing it, well out of breath, was however, satisfying.
I recommend Chalet F'Net. I would imagine it's a great place to stay for a skiing holiday, as well as been a good base to explore the region in the summer. Unless you've got a four-wheel drive it would not be suitable for people with young children, fitness issues or disabilities.

It was a pleasure of staying here in May 2026 to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. What can I say ?? A truly stunning property with the most spectacular views. Amazing decor with lots of interesting features. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again !!!! Thank you ☺️
THE MOST AMAZING PLACE
THE MOST AMAZING PLACE, WITH SOME LOVELY DECOR, VERY CLEVERLY DONE! THE VIEWS, WELL YOU TRY AND FIND BETTER, JUST BEAUTIFUL. ON A RAINY DAY, YOU COULD SPEND HOURS, JUST WATCHING.
THE ONLY ONE THING TO NOTE, IS BEACUSE OF THE UNUSUAL SET UP OF THE HOUSE, MEANS THERE A FEW STAIRS TO NEGOTIATE, BUT ITS A MINOR THING!
WISH WE OULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!
Magical adventure
We stayed in the Dragon's Egg, and it was by far the best place we've ever stayed. The walk down to the Egg isn't far at all, so there's no need to worry if you have to make a few trips, although packing light does make it even easier.
Everything had been thought of. There was plenty of wood provided for the fire, and the outdoor kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. It even had a pizza oven, which was such a great touch. We were also welcomed with delicious treats, along with milk, tea, and coffee, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The place itself was like something out of a magical fairytale. Nestled among the trees, it was incredibly peaceful, with nothing but the sounds of nature all around us. The stream nearby was beautiful, and having hot water was an added bonus that made the stay even more comfortable.
I've never felt so relaxed. I honestly wish we could have stayed for a whole week! It was a truly unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to come back. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful, and magical getaway.
Wow… what can I say
Wow… what can I say! I booked the Earth Conker as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and I couldn’t think of a more relaxing, beautiful place to celebrate.
The Conker is in such a gorgeous location with THE MOST INCREDIBLE views. Even though the estate has other accommodation dotted around, everything is so spaced out so you feel like you are the only people for miles (which was perfect for our reactive dogs).
The Conker has everything you need for a break and they’ve thought of everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. You even get your own flour and yeast to have a go at making your own pizza bases, and some marshmallows to toast on the fire in the evening.
The Conker is so comfy, and so relaxing! I usually struggle to sleep but the bed was so comfortable and it was so cosy and warm inside. The ceiling windows are great for a bit of star gazing too.
There are some gorgeous walks around - definitely explore the Cambrian mountains as the views are incredible and we didn’t see a single soul the whole time we were walking.
We did get to see a lot of wildlife though, and went to feed the pigs in Hogwarts. We even saw some baby birds hatching in their nest in the shower shed.
Everything was so simple - the directions, the check-in, the communication. I honestly can’t think of one complaint - it was perfection.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay - we really hope we can come back and stay with you again ❤️
We absolutely loved our stay at Llareggub
We absolutely loved our stay at Llareggub. The location is great with easy access to the coastal path, restaurants and a short walk to the beach. And very easy to get to Tenby and other great places.
The view from the lounge is spectacular and we really enjoyed sitting there in the evenings before we went out.
Would highly recommend the Stone Crab, possible to book if you get in early! Rhosyn in Penally is a lovely restaurant.
One of the best walks we did was around Angle with a stop at the newly refurbed Old Point House.
Moon Conker
This was my third time staying at Chillderness, and it just keeps getting better. After previously staying in both of the incredible tree tents, I decided to try the Moon Conker this time, and it did not disappoint!
As always, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect escape. The host was amazing once again—so welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for our stay.
If you are thinking about booking, do it! I highly recommend Chillderness and we will definitely be back for a fourth visit.
🐷 Top tip: Don't forget to visit the pigs at Hogwarts during your stay
Tha accommodation is outstanding!
Tha accommodation is outstanding!! It's spacious, quirky, immaculately clean and had everything we needed and more. In fact I think it says it all when everyone believes they had the best room in the house 😁 We were a party of 6 including a teenager who loved the games room and a pensioner with limited mobility who was able to access all areas of the home as it is all on one level. We also had 3 dogs with us who we were able to leave to explore the vast enclosed outside area. Although the weather was hit and miss during our stay, we did manage to spend some time enjoying the spectacular view from the elevated lookout and also enjoyed a bbq cooked on the firepit. We look forward eagerly to returning in the future.
Had a lovely time at Mor and More
Had a lovely time at Mor and More. The place was beautiful and in a lovely secluded location. Marros sand was a 15 minute walk and Pendine was only 10 mins away in the car. All round a great holiday and the hosts were super helpful.
Lovely relaxing place
Lovely relaxing place, enough space to accommodate a large family. And the dogs loved it. Would absolutely go again.
Beautiful stay with everything we needed
We had a brilliant long weekend at Mor and More. The house came with everything we needed and the hosts were super helpful when answering any questions. The beach was only a 15 minute walk away which was great. Pendine was also only a 10 minute drive away for a more easily accessible beach too. We’d definitely come back!

Had a wonderful weekend with 3…
Had a wonderful weekend with 3 generations of family. Ben, our son, had booked it for all of our Christmas presents. Beautiful place and location, spacious rooms and quirky decor. Met friendly neighbours and enjoyed peaceful surroundings.
Total peace and relaxation.
We recently spent a few days at Red Kite Barn, what a wonderful place.
It’s probably the first break we’ve had that was a true ‘break’
A break from having to do anything, if you don’t want to, no shops, no people, no cars, no phone signal (you can use their Starlink internet if you just can’t handle it) and no stress.
If you really want to relax, get up when you want, eat when you want or pretty much just do nothing, this is the place.
We were lucky to have some beautiful weather and made use of the relaxing hot tub, with a beer or two of course. We enjoyed some walking and looking at the other accommodation available, which looked more rustic but great fun if you like to have a more ‘camping’ kind of feel.
All I would say is that the decking area could do with a little attention, which I have fed back and am assured it is being looked at.
So, would I go back? Absolutely, in fact I didn’t want to leave. Three days was enough to make me realise how amazing it is to get away from the noise of life. Even our 7 year old wasn’t bored, she played outside, named all the sheep and enjoyed feeding the pigs.
If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, in a barn that has all you need, then I would highly recommend looking at Red Kite Barn. We will definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at Mor and More. It was the perfect setting for a family golden wedding celebration and we felt really lucky to be able to make memories in such a beautiful environment. David and Anjana were happy to answer any questions. We also enjoyed an amazing meal at the Links in Tenby. Thanks for a great stay!
Very Disappointing
My wife and I had a very disappointing long weekend at Mor and More 15 – 18 Feb 2025. Whilst I appreciate it was damp and gloomy when we arrived, the house looked unappealing, unlike the highly professional pictures on the website.
As an owner of two dogs, we immediately noticed that the garden was not secure, contrary to what is described. There is a large gap in the fence on the northern side of the property adjoining the farm.
The key safe was open with no key in it and the front door was locked. An email had been sent a couple of hours earlier advising us that the key would be hidden under a flowerpot outside the front door. However, we were already on route at the time so did not find the email until after our arrival. We eventually found the big sliding doors at the rear of the house unlocked and let ourselves in.
Two things quickly became apparent. Firstly, the house was very cold. The underfloor heating controller in the hall indicated 11.5C. The online manual detailed how we could change the central heating mode but not the temperature. We eventually worked out that the small/unlabelled cordless box on the kitchen windowsill was the thermostat. The underfloor heating was more of a challenge. The online manual described the location of the control panels but provided no detailed instructions. They are not intuitive. Thankfully I am quite technically minded and eventually worked out how to increase the temperature. We didn’t manage to get the house really warmed up until the following day. Secondly, there was a strong and very unpleasant smell of drains. We quickly identified the cause of the smell as the wetroom in the shared bathroom. The smell was sufficiently strong that we did not use this part of the house.
The Wi-Fi ID is not as detailed in the online manual and, contrary to the advice, does need a password. We eventually found a scrappy piece of paper on a windowsill with the correct details. Whilst the Childerness website describes the internet as ”only average”, the online manual says “We've recently upgraded our WiFi at Mor & More - you should be able to get a great experience throughout the home”. The former description is more accurate. Connectivity dropped out quite frequently and at times it was impossible to use Netflix.
Throughout or stay we were treading on small shards of broken glass on the kitchen floor which we struggled to hoover up as the vacuum cleaner does not work properly – there is a piece missing on the bottom of the head and the brush does not rotate as it should. There was a dirty broken cafetière on the kitchen windowsill complete with used coffee grounds.
The kitchen is not well equipped if the house is full. Whilst there are plenty of plates and glasses, mugs and cutlery are in short supply. We eventually found instructions for some of the appliances (most holiday properties have them all together in a folder) but sadly not for the range cooker. This is unfortunate as most of the markings on the cooker dials are worn off. A melted oven knob, and melted worktop edge to the right of the cooker, are concerning.
Clearly a lot of effort has gone into the “look” of the house but sadly, in some areas, it is a case of style over substance. The “games room” is unheated, draughty and shabby – and the outside of the house in particular looks very tired. The summerhouse is full of junk and semi derelict, there was outdoor furniture literally scattered around behind the house and the area next to the garage looks a bit like a builder’s yard. The lookout tower has some rotting stair treads and no handrail on one side.
We emailed David and Anjana with our concerns soon after arriving and they phoned us back very shortly thereafter. They were very polite and seemed surprised at our feedback. David suggested running some water down the smelly drain. It will take more than that to clear the smell! Our subsequent discovery of several poor reviews on Trustpilot suggests we weren’t telling them anything they did not already know. Thus, their response is disingenuous. They offered us a free additional night which were not inclined to take up, even if work commitments had allowed us to.
Update 28/2
The internet may be delivered by Starlink but accessing it requires WiFi. The 3 WiFi networks, all require password access, none is named MorMoreGuests. The TP Link WiFI was the only one of the three for which we could find a password.
Summerhouse or shed, it is ramshackle, full of junk and an eyesore. It may not be “for customer use” but with the door open, it is a dangerous magnet for curious children.
Sawdays website refers to a "games room”.
The front door frame is not secured to the lintel leaving a draughty gap.
I stand by my review. Mor and More looks unloved and tired. It is not good value for money even at the winter rates.
