The crew (Mick, Lee, Mark and others whose names I didn’t get) were amazing. It was one of the hottest days of the year and they didn’t complain, just got on with the job. The quote was very clear, the price was good, the process to book and pay was excellent, and everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly. They dismantled and put back together multiple fiddly things, plus they packed for me and everything arrived intact and was put back together perfectly. I would definitely recommend Chelmsford Removals, but I’m especially thankful for the crew for working so hard in the sweltering heat!

We had two teams of people moving us from two addresses into one.
Both teams arrived & got stuck in straight away. Nothing was an issue for them.
The products they use to make sure your property is protected during transport is faultless.
They were a lovely bunch of happy helpful guys.
Both houses were packed up before midday and they even helped moved the furniture from the garage into one of the properties as it was a rental and the keys were being handed back.

The guys at Chelmsford Removals made our life so easy! We opted for a full pack and the team came round the day prior to moving and packed up all of our stuff and took some away, they then came back early the next day to pack up essentials like utility items, beds and fridges etc. everything was packed with the upmost care and attention ensuring no breakages and then moved in the same fashion. They were polite, friendly and conscientious, treated both properties with respect. I couldn’t recommend the company any higher. We were dreading moving house today but there was no need because Terry, Dave, Vic, Tom and James made it simple. From ensuring everything was exactly where we wanted it to reassuring us they were used to waiting for the completion and calming me down while I was stressing. Went through the Chelmsford depot to help us in our move to Norfolk. The guys that loaded ( Luke, Terry, Dan J, Lee, Vic and Mick ) were so helpful and great. Luke, Dan J and Lee unloaded for us and were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Can’t praise this company enough as really went the extra mile in everything they did. Would recommend to anyone who needs a removal company. 5 stars. If we could put more stars we would.

We had a complicated move (2 houses into a 3rd), We booked through Weston and Edwards the experience from the beginning quote made us feel like there wasn’t a thing that was too much trouble. Dan did a careful survey which proved just right. The lady in the office guided us through booking and payments, I have to say that on the day Michael, Martyn, Dave, Nick, Connor, & Aaron were amazing they worked as a team flawlessly and nothing was too much trouble which helped calm the chaos we were in and bring it all together. These guys had a very long day but, in high temperature their mood reassurance and efficiency did not falter. Altogether the very best money spent out of all the expenses involved in moving house. Recommended

We cannot rate this company highly enough. A brilliant service from our house move to storage and then storage to our new house. Everyone we dealt along the process was very friendly and professional.

We paid for a full service, including full packing and removal. This wasn’t cheap. Alas we didn’t get it.
The company estimator underestimated the size of the job, so the removal crew was under strength. This meant things took longer than planned and delayed our exit from our old house, putting pressure on us when we’d completed on our sale and the buyers were waiting to get in.
It made them rush when packing. Boxes were wrongly labelled (including using pre-used boxes which had already been labelled) and our items have unfortunately been mixed up. We’ve spent a week trying to sort this out, and have wasted so much time looking through boxes to discover what’s in them.
Can’t blame individual crew members, as they’re worked very hard. But we paid for a full service, costing a few £000, and we didn’t get it. It made an already stressful time more stressful and is delaying us getting straight in our new home.
Very disappointing!!

Punctual, polite, professional and efficient.

I’m so pleased that I chose my removal company so well. From start to finish I was pleased with the whole service.
Ricky who came and did the survey prior to the quote - so knowledgeable and gave great advice on every aspect of the move. The boxes were delivered the next day so I could start preparing.
Tiffany and the other office staff are delightful, always friendly and supportive even when things continually changed with my moving date.
On the day of the move the team worked tirelessly on the hottest day of the year. James, James, Jake and Ben went above and beyond what I expected. It was a really hard day but they just got on with it, no moaning, all really good natured and a great team spirit.
I didn’t get the keys until very late in the day so we had to wait for hours in the blazing sun and there was no extra charge. This was one of the things I was relieved about, as another company had quoted me but there was a charge per hour / per staff member which would have added to my stress and cost me hundreds of pounds.
For once I chose well and have no hesitation in recommending Chelmsford Removals.

This was the second time we have used Chelmsford Removals and as per previous, they were professional, efficient and very friendly.

I dealt with Lucy in the office who was so accommodating as our move previously had meant we'd had to go into storage for a few months. Nothing was too much hassle for her to deal with, she was very patient and understanding with us.

Terry and Michael on the day were excellent. My mum was very impressed they even put her clothes away in the cupboard!

Would recommend to anyone looking for a professional moving company who get the job done quickly and without any problems.

I had booked the packing up service and as soon as Nick arrived i knew i was in a safe pair of hands-he and Vick worked like trojans and all i did was run round cleaning after them.It was amazing and they were a delight to have around which was an added bonus.
Also the quote was the cheapest of the 3 firms that estimated.Wouldn't use anyone else!
