We were dreading removal day but James, Luke and Jacob were amazing, from the moment they arrive to fill up the removal lorry until the moment we waved them off at our new home. We could not fault the service or the hard work and politeness of these three guys. Thank you so much. The cost of this service was very good value for money.

Punctual. Friendly, efficient and reliable. The move(s) went well. I have not given it 5 stars because I think the Company could be clearer about its expectations concerning dismantling furniture in advance e.g. beds. There is an option to have furniture dismantled but this is not highlighted when booking.

From the moment I rang the office to make enquiries to when Ricky came to give an estimate, to the day of the move the service was excellent and stress free. Everyone was very professional and when the team arrived on removal day (Nick, James N and Dan J) they were very friendly , helpful and did everything they could to make my move go smoothly. An absolutely amazing experience we had today! The team were Bill, Michael, Richy and Luke and they were incredible! We set some pretty big challenges but nothing was too much trouble. They were prompt, professional, efficient and thoroughly decent guys - you couldn’t ask for more.

What can I say about these guys. Superb admin and superb removal staff. Contacted the office and survey was carried out extremely quickly by Ricky. He came and assessed what i had and what size of removal lorry I needed. The quote came back extremely quickly so super efficient.
The admin staff kept me informed at all times after I had accepted the competitive quote. Boxes were delivered without fuss.
On the day of the move James, Bill and Richy turned up nice and early. Protected the floors and bannisters. Everything was packed up swiftly but carefully. Everything done with a smile on their face and was nice to have people to joke about with. This created a really relaxed atmosphere. For a self confessed stressed out anxiety freak this was extremely reassuring. Within a few hours, and several cups of tea later we were packed up and they were off to my new destination.
I awaited for the call for the keys and a few hours later I joined them at the new property.
Within a few hours my furniture was unloaded. I was consulted with which room everything was to go into. They had no issues when I changed my mind on location being the indecisive person that I am. Washing machines and dishwashers were connected. Was a real pleasure to have these guys on my move. Top top people!
If you want a professionally run company that takes the stress out of moving, at a really good price with cheerful and careful removal staff then this is the company to choose. Yes you could choose a man with a van which is cheaper but I knew all my possessions were protected and run by a company that was regulated and professional.
Should I ever move again these are the people I would choose… without hesitation. Would I recommend them? 100%. And I don’t do that lightly as I have extremely high standards.

Can’t recommend highly enough Chelmsford Removals. They have been extremely helpful all through the difficult process of moving. The team today of Luke, Nick and Bill were utterly brilliant, keeping us informed of everything they were doing. They treated all of our items carefully and with respect but were great fun at the same time. They worked really hard, even in the rain. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again
