BUYERS BEWARE!
Charterhouse Mobility were fine until we had a complaint, after which the management were extremely rude and dismissive.
We purchased a bespoke reclining chair. However, my measurements were completely ignored as the foot riser does not extend sufficiently to support my legs and ankles. This further causes the seat to sag resulting in further bodily discomfort. At age 87, suffering from arthritis and in remission from cancer the discomfort is intolerable.
When we complained Charterhouse’s immediate response was ‘if you have a complaint contact the Ombudsman’s’. When we did they lied to the Ombudsman. They told them they had fully inspected the chair when their representative told us he had been given strict instructions to examine ONLY the loose back.
This has not only caused us financial hardship but been emotionally draining.
Today we had the pleasure of meeting Ray at our mothers to have a demonstration of the Charterhouse recliner chair.
Thoroughly impressed with the product. The patience and understanding from Ray led to us purchasing a chair!
Highly Reccommend! Brilliant!

I ordered a bespoke 2 seater recliner/riser sofa.
From the initial survey to today's delivery and installation I have received excellent professional and knowledgeable service. The customer service in the Head Office was first class and such a treat to speak to another person and not a chatbot.
The delivery was quoted as between 4 to 8 weeks and it came in 4 weeks, so very happy..
I am so pleased I have found this company
The sofa is wonderful, very well made and just right for me.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending this company.

The delivery man rang me to ler me know what time they would arrive .Upon arrival the delivery man introduced himself they both removed their shoes my new chair was all assembled within 10 _15 minutes all tested he then got me to sit in the chair explained all the controls & got me to try the chair out from the lady that first came out to ordering the chair was excellent it was also put down as urgent as im due to have a operation in the next two months it was all done & delivered in 6 weeks i cannot fault this company they are all so friendly im so glad i chose Charterhouse Mobility one happy customer 10/10

We bought a second hand scooter from the showroom Fantastic service, i emailed customer service to see if a handbook for the scooter could be sent out, this was posted the very next day. Would highly recommend

Alan from Charterhouse mobility, came and demonstrated an electric adjustable bed with the option of massage function. Me and my husband were very impressed with Alan’s knowledge and understanding, he’d been doing the job for 30 odd years!
Nothing was too much trouble and he was patient, didn’t rush us at all and importantly, he was very sincere and understood my needs perfectly!
He explained thoroughly, how and why the bed would make a huge difference to not only my sleep but my quality of life also. It all made sense! He explained how the body works and what was needed to help my body get into the correct position for maximum benefit and how that, along with the massage function helps blood flow, which in turn helps all the muscles and joints benefit from oxygen intake and lubrication of the joints, which help to reduce pain and swelling, as does being able to elevate the legs. He also demonstrated this to me whilst I was on the adjustable bed by raising the head and foot end of the bed, into the correct position for me and I found my sciatica and joint pain ease immediately, then after a while, he lowered both ends and all my pain returned immediately!!
He then demonstrated the varying massage functions, which were so soothing and relaxing, that I could have gone to sleep there and then!
Alan took his time explaining everything and answering my questions. He showed me their brochure and the huge variety of material and colour options and made absolutely sure that I was happy with the options that I eventually chose.
This company offers a five year warranty and £375 off your purchase, if they take your old bed away.
The beds are made in the UK and the motor for the bed is made in Germany.
I really couldn’t fault anything and I am so happy that I got them in for a demonstration, as I thought the company I tried prior to this was good but Charterhouse really took the biscuit and therefore, I highly recommend them 100 percent!
Right from the initial contact with Thomas on Friday to make the appointment, through to the demonstration from Alan 3 days later on the Monday, every one I had contact with were polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Many thanks to you Alan, when my hubby needs one of these, we’ll be coming back to YOU!🙏💜✨

The demonstrator Aaron was very personable and knowledgeable. He showed great patience with my 95 year old father. The visit of over 2 hours was probably too long for my father’s age and powers of concentration
