Amazing community
It’s a great online and in person community. Very welcoming group, we also do extra side events outside of the monthly meet-ups. Lots of online meet-ups too! Get great recommendations and have met many amazing people through chapter 25

This will be my fourth book club…
This will be my fourth book club meeting and for the fourth time, I am giving a 5 star to the book. I am not an easily 5 star giver so not sure how it happens and how you found books exactly in my taste. Four 5 stars in a row. So thank you for the perfect choices and giving me five star reads. So glad I joined Chapter25. I am in online group and our host is absolute delight and she is perfect as well. I am also enjoying bonus chapters and great selection of books there again- especially thriller and dystopian ones.

Really glad I joined!
I joined the book club at the beginning of the year to meet other book lovers and encourage me to read out of my usual genre. It’s become something I genuinely look forward to every month! Everyone has been so welcoming, the meetings are relaxed and often include a mixer or activity, and we’ve covered some great books (also not so great but they’re often the best discussions!) I joined alone and was a bit anxious initially about stepping into an existing group but I’m so glad I’ve become part of the community.

Best thing I did!
Joining Chapter 25 was the best decision I made. I hoped to find some people with similar interests, read more and do something for me. Our venue is beautiful and the host is so welcoming. I have read so many different books since joining and opened my eyes to new genres. I would highly recommend Chapter 25 to others.

I love Chapter 25 Book Club! It's helped me become more sociable, introduced me to some genuinely lovely people, and, of course, given me plenty of brilliant books to read.

Beware.
Beware. This company will keep taking payments from you even if you cancel. I've had to raise a dispute with my bank 3 times, 2 of which were approved before they took the 3rd payment. I blocked the company through my bank and yet they still charge me. I've repeatedly asked the company to cancel. I've never used the website or attended a meeting.

We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve been unhappy with your experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
We’ve looked into this and just wanted to clarify that our memberships have a three-month minimum commitment, which is outlined on our sign-up page and within our Terms & Conditions. When you contacted us to request cancellation, we explained that the membership could be cancelled once the third payment had been taken, in line with these terms. As soon as the third payment was made, we cancelled the membership.
We’re also unable to refund membership payments based on non-attendance. The membership fee isn’t solely for the monthly meet-up itself - it also provides access to our wider Chapter 25 community, 25+ bonus chapter events monthly, and contributes towards the hosts and staff who make the clubs and events possible.
We’re sorry if this wasn’t clear at the time, and we understand that this may have been frustrating. We always aim to be as transparent as possible about our membership terms and cancellation process.

Chapter 25 is more than just a book club
Chapter 25 is so much more than a book club – it’s a welcoming community of people who share a love of reading. I genuinely look forward to our monthly meetings.
Our host, Alice, is fantastic. She makes everyone feel welcome and takes the time to chat with everyone over the course of the evening. Each meeting is thoughtfully organised, with engaging discussion questions and fun activities that really bring the book to life.
One of the things I’ve enjoyed most is being encouraged to read books from genres I would never have considered before. It’s broadened my reading horizons and introduced me to some wonderful books.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend joining your local Chapter 25. It’s a brilliant way to discover great books, meet lovely people, and enjoy meaningful conversations.

The Chapter25 event with Lucy was so…
The Chapter25 event with Lucy was so well done and prepared! Everything was so carefully thought out and the event staff were always checking in on us and making sure everyone was having a good time. They also made sure everyone got to have their time with Lucy and books signed which is something I’ve never experienced before in other book events! Honestly I’m excited for my next event with Chapter25 as everyone was made to feel welcomed

Chapter 25 is my first ever book club I…
Chapter 25 is my first ever book club I have joined, I joined when they first opened in Livingston and its the best night of my month. Meeting new people who also love books. I have added so many books to my TBR and I also have read books I would never of looked at twice.

Best experience and the best community
I joined an online club in 2024, and it was the best decision I ever made! I never used to have anyone to talk to about books with, but since joining I have a community of people who want to not only talk about books, but have become my closest friends. It's so difficult to make friends as an adult, but since the first meeting I felt like I finally found somewhere that I belonged. I can't thank the Chapter 25 Community enough, they have helped me in so many ways, and I would urge anyone who is nervous about joining to just sign up! You won't regret it x
