What a lovely welcome as we entered the store! My assistant was called Cerys, who was so so lovely! She met my every need and made me feel so special, as i was shopping for my sons wedding.I only tried on the one dress and instantly fell in love with it, although Cerys had picked out s few others for me to try. I left the shop a very happy customer and cannot wait until November to actually wear my dress! Thankyou Cerys for a lovely shopping experience! X

I had run out of ideas for getting a couple of very fancy frocks for event nights aboard a couple of cruises. Every other shop in glasgow seemed to be more focussed on either bridesmaids/weddings or prom nights. I couldn't find anything suitable. So glad I found Catherine's! The experience was so much fun. I tried on loads and got the perfect dresses, both at very reasonable prices. They needed to be taken up but that wasn't expensive and they bent over backwards to get them done in time for going away which I'm very thankful for! Thank you Cerys for persevering with me and making the whole experience fun! Such a lovely girl. I will definitely pop back in for the next occasion.

We were treated with the upmost respect, patience and professionalism by Cerys. She made me as MOTB feel so listened to. The outfit I actually loved wasn’t one I chose but she did, which demonstrated to me the depth of her knowledge and skill for her job.

We visited recently to get our mum’s mother or the bride outfit. Our mum had been reluctant at first as she had not been impressed on a previous visit 15 years ago. However this visit was very different. We were helped by a lovely assistant, Katie. She listened to what mum wanted and chose some lovely dresses. She was happy for my sister and I to pull other dresses and she encouraged mum to try and lots of shapes and styles. There was no pushy sales pitch. The whole store had a lovely relaxed atmosphere with other customers supporting each other to help make their choices. All in all it was a pleasurable appointment and Katie was an absolute “angel”. We can’t thank Katie enough for a lovely morning.

We went to shop for a prom dress for my daughter & for the styles/colours etc my daughter was looking for, the shop had the biggest selection for her to try on.

Whilst at her initial appointment the assistant dress took the time & listened to what my daughter was looking for & brought out 6/8 dresses to match this brief.

The dress we eventually decided on she had also liked in another major prom retailer & there was also a big difference in price of the two, so we opted to purchase the dress from Catherine’s of Partick.

When we bought the dress in October 2025 we were advised we could have alterations in house however when we collected the dress in January 2026 we were advised they had no availability for alterations but recommended Tailor- made which was just few yards along & we could not fault them.

The staff, especially Shaleen, were incredibly patient, understanding, and helpful throughout mums dress shopping experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and she encouraged her to try on different styles and colours that she wouldn’t have normally considered. Her friendly and supportive approach made mum feel comfortable and confident, and she reassured her not to be afraid or shy about trying something new. Excellent customer service that made the whole experience enjoyable.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel like the only people in the shop. Our sales assistant Shaleey was amazing.

I had a wonderful experience picking my M of G outfit. I was served by Cerys who I found to be very friendly and welcoming and who put me at ease quickly. There was no pressure to buy. Highly recommend a visit.

What can I say about the staff here that will do them any justice. Every one from making the appointment to the care and time spent supporting me choose my MOG dress was simply fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. They are all so knowledgeable and understanding of personal body hang ups and I was made to feel absolutely beautiful. My son is getting married in September and I can’t wait to wear my gorgeous outfit. Thanks to each and every one of the staff ❤️

From the moment we stepped into the shop we were greeted with a smile. Then I was introduced to Shaleen who helped pick out my outfit for my daughter’s wedding in September. Nothing was a bother she was so patient and understanding to what I had in mind what I was looking for. Delighted with my purchase and can’t wait to show it off at the wedding.

I had my appointment and was seen to straight away. The amount of stock is amazing.
I had travelled over from Dublin. I got everything I need for my daughter's wedding.
Dress,hat, bag and shoes.
Everything was then delivered to me on my return home within days.
Such a wonderful experience from start to finish and I couldn't have been happier with my entire outfit on the day.

My daughter and I had a lovely experience when we visited to look for my Mother of the Bride outfit. From the first welcome into the store until leaving with a beautiful outfit, the service was excellent. We were assisted by Shaleen, who was so helpful and knowledgeable, and because she listened and understood my needs, my preferences, and my style, she was able to find me an assortment of dresses to try on. I never felt rushed, I was encouraged to take my time and try on as many times as I needed to make sure I found the right dress for me. Shaleen was happy to run back & forth finding the right accessories & colours to complement the dresses I was trying on. There’s a lovely friendly atmosphere in the store, and it was nice to have some input from other assistants on my choices. I am very happy with my purchases, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Catherine’s of Partick to anyone looking for that special outfit.

Shopping for such a special occasion can be daunting, but Catherine’s of Partick made it a delight. Shaleen provided a relaxed, pressure-free environment and offered invaluable guidance. Her ability to select stunning dresses tailored to my needs was impressive. I highly recommend their professional and friendly service and I'm pleased I said "yes to the dress"! 😀

I was attended by an assistant called Shaleen who was attentive from the moment we entered the store She listened to what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable and was honest about what dresses suited me and what didn't I would be happy to shop or recommend Catherine's of Partick to friends and family.

Was visiting with my mum for a dress for my brothers wedding. She was helped by Kerri who was lovely and friendly. My mum was not ready to buy a dress (which she has every right to do so). Someone overheard my mum telling Kerri that she was going to show my dad and brother (which again SHE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DO) This other woman then came over to my mum and was so rude. She basically made it out that my would never find an outfit as she had the wrong attitude to trying dresses on. My mum was so affronted, it was all she spoke about for hours.

I could have let this go as I myself work in retail and know how hard it can be but this woman with balding dark hair then spoke to Kerri so awfully. I heard her say thay she didnt do this and she didnt do that.

She did nothing wrong, again she was so kind and friendly towards us. The other woman was the problem.

This other woman then walked up another woman who then looked over in my direction and rolled her eyes. This is disgraceful. We were given a note from Kerri who seemed flustered by this point and we left.

We bought the same dress elsewhere. We will never be back! Ever.
