The ladies of Catherine’s of Partick are amazing.i was only in the UK for a set period of time and we worked together to arrange a suitable date for my appointment . And I’m so grateful!
They are so welcoming and put you at ease from the moment you stepped inside- in I arrived early on the 5th September 2015 and they let me in!
Roma was an absolute gem, she listened to everything I said and observed my reactions when trying on the most wonderful array of Gowns.
I eventually chose the most gorgeous gown which then became my hand luggage all the way back to Australia and which I wore to my Wedding in March 2026.
Highly recommend going here to choose a gorgeous gown for your own wedding (if on the side of the age of wisdom-like me), or for an equally gorgeous mother of the bride/groom gown.

We were served by Katie and she was so kind and welcoming, and the highlight of our experience. She put lot of effort and attention to detail into finding the right dress to meet my tastes. I was also able to get the dress at a good price because of her. She's clearly a very hardworking, patient and charming person. I was very satisfied with the outfit I left with.

A lovely experience from start to finish. I’m mother of the bride and visited the shop with my daughter to look for my wedding outfit. We were looked after by the lovely Roma - what an asset to the business, she made the whole experience so relaxed and fun, really put a nervous mother of the bride at ease. Great knowledge of the stock in store and a great eye for what would suit me. Really happy with my purchase, 10/10 for Roma x

Lisa was amazing with my mum and helped her find the perfect dress for my brothers wedding! She made my mum feel so comfortable and found her the matching shoes with her dress. We were in and out 35 minutes and she gave her plenty of options to try. All the women in the shop were so welcoming and lovely and telling my mum how great she looked in the dress. Would highly recommend.

Catherine’s of Partick were brilliant helping me choose a mother of the bride outfit. Staff were helpful and kind and very patient. I loved my dress.

The staff were very helpful , showing me lots of dresses in the requested colour , giving me advice and telling me what looked good and perhaps needed changing . Felt very at ease . Very friendly and happy staff . Nothing was too much trouble for them .

Choosing a Mother of the Bride outfit for my daughter’s wedding was such an important moment, and Shaleen’s patience, honesty, kindness and expert advice made it an enjoyable and memorable experience. She listened to what I wanted, never made me feel rushed or pressured, and helped me find the perfect outfit.

Cerys, was very good. We were late to our appointment due to traffic, but she calmed us down immediately.
She showed us the dresses in my size, i tried on a whole range of styles, nothing was a hassle, she was patient & no hard sell.
We picked the perfect dress & hat, for my daughter’s wedding. The wedding was on the 17/07/26, I felt like a million dollars.

Lisa made for a lovely experience shopping for my MOB dress. I emailed ahead with my colour palate and size which made for a quick first change in to a dress. After trying on various dresses it was narrowed down to 2. This is when Lisa elevated the dresses by adding on the accessories. I walked out of the shops with dress and hat box all sorted for my daughter’s wedding. Excellent service, choice of dresses and accessories.

Shaleen made our visit a really lovely experience. She was very helpful, friendly, patient and gave great advice. There was absolutely no pressure. Will definitely recommend the shop, Shaleen and staff to my friends and family.

Having spent weeks searching for an outfit for my daughter’s wedding, I was advised by friends to make an appointment with Catherine’s of Partick. Despite the 3 hour drive, I could not have chosen a better place to find a dress. I didn’t want traditional “mother of the bride”, however was quite overwhelmed by the beautiful outfits available. The stock in the store was absolutely vast. Shaleen, who met me on arrival, spent so much time with me advising me and choosing styles for me which I preferred. From not being able to find a thing for the wedding, my problem was I was then spoiled for choice! I cannot recommend Catherine’s enough. Not only did I find my dress, I also found a hat which matched perfectly. This place deserves its excellent reputation. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful and Shaleen was amazing.

Shaleen was very professional, listened carefully to which style of dress I would feel comfortable trying on. Along with her gentle advice I found this a positive experience.

The atmosphere is lovely and from the start Shareen made us feel very welcome and she was so helpful and understood our needs. What a lovely personality and we shall recommend this first class service.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my mother of the groom outfit. The assistant was incredibly knowledgeable about the available stock and took time to understand what would suit both the occasion and my style. She was attentive, patient, and offered excellent advice without making me feel rushed. Her expertise and friendly approach made choosing the perfect dress so much easier. I would highly recommend this store for anyone looking for outstanding customer service and expert styling advice.

Amazing experiance from start to finish. Lisa looked after me and was lovely and patient with me because i was so unsure what style i wanted. There was no pressure to buy anthing but i ended up getting my dream Mother of the bride Dress and Hatinater.
Cant wait to wear them and post some photos.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a huge choice of outfits to choose from for my sons wedding. No pressure to buy and no rush when trying dresses on. Shaleen made the whole experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.
