Car Racks Bewertungen

Great price and brilliant service, fast and efficient and kept up to date with any possible delays.

The tow bar bike rack was a good price, easy to assemble and works well.
However, the bike frame adapter that I ordered at the same time was not included.
I contacted Carracks, they asked for a picture of the shipped box, which I provided, but since then, nothing. No adapter has been sent, no refund offered, no email replied to.
The only communication I have had was an email asking for a review, so here it is. Very poor customer service. I will not buy anything from them again

I bought roof rails for my son’s car. The price was competitive and delivery was quite fast. I would have given 5* but their communication is poor. I had received a notification from Royal Mail saying the parcel was coming from Ireland and because of its value there may be customs charges before it can be delivered. I emailed the company asking them what was going on as I was buying the rails from a London addressed company. I did not get any response. In the end the rails were delivered without any charges being imposed but it would have been reassuring to have had an explanation from car racks uk.

The roof bars were great value and fitted perfectly... only problem was delivery... I've never had great services with parcelforce tbh so carracks not entirely at fault... despite staying at home, delivery did not happen... had the item delivered to the post office... box was damaged with large chunks of cardboard missing... as a consequence, the bars looked like they had been used as there were scuffs at the end, although not damaged... they were steel after all... however, they should have come with x3 keys for the locks and there was only one... perhaps the other 2 fell through the holes in packaging... I did email carracks regarding this to report the damage and ask if I could get the additional keys... they did not respond to me... which was disappointing... 3 stars is a fair rating simply because of the cost of the bars and ease to order... delivery and customer service very poor

Carracks doesn’t supply anything it comes from a company in Ireland so you could end up getting hit with customs charges. Delivery times are painfully slow as is the customer services response time. Avoid at all costs

I placed an order and then read the previous reviews here which started to worry me. I then got an email from Royal Mail telling me my parcel was about to be delivered but I should expect to pay import duties. I went back to the website and saw that it was a .co.uk url, it was in £, there was a UK address listed and nowhere did it say to expect this so I tried to contact them which you can only do through a form on the website. There is no email address or contact number. I got no reply to reassure me.

The parcel arrived and there was no duty to pay which was a relief but it still took time to deal with this.

There was a fault on a part of my roof bars so I had to fill in the contact form again. After a week of no response I chased again, stating that I need a replacement part in a week as I was going on holiday. I finally got a reply and the content was very basic/limited responses that were often difficult to read and some didn't answer the question I'd asked.

I received the replacement part and the roof bars work well, but the customer service is lacking and would definitely stop me from ordering anything again.

Great all round service ,roofbars fit a treat, fantastic value for a pair so well made

Ordered some car racks for the 1st time, unfortunately they were the wrong ones, fault on my half. The returns process was actually really good. Easy returns, although some lack of communication and sceptical about the place of return being in Ireland. When contacted however, the team got back to me really quickly and received a refund in the appropriate time frame. Then re-ordered the correct bars and really can’t complain. Good value and overall good experience with the company.

Product was great and fantastic price. Didn’t realise it was coming from Dublin which ain’t a problem just delivery took a little longer then expected but was no issue with the company they dispatched it the next day was more the delivery company that took so long. But will definitely purchase from them again in the future

Delivery was slightly delayed but I was kept informed by email. Arrived well packaged and as described. Competitively priced. Would definitely recommend

Arrived in good time, good product for Good price. Roof bars for C4 cactus.

Order arrived as advertised. Competively price. Well packaged.

The company kept me informed of any delays and when my purchase was on the way. The roof rack was exactly as described and the instructions were easy enough to follow. All in all a good purchasing experience

Great service and communication. Slight delay but kept informed all the way

These racks are not dispatched from London where the contact company is but from Dublin. This accounts for the delayed delivery notice that I, and other, receive. Further, there is a speartae warning that additional tax might be payable for customs, but in fact the delivery driver did not make any request for this. Ulitmately it arrived in a reasonable time and fitted well with good value. Just a shame the supplier hides behind a London address.

Easy to order did not take long for delivery

More than happy to give five stars. The roof back for my Toyota CH-R was delivered quickly and efficiently and everything is good. The only slight issue that took a bit of messing around is with the instructions which didn’t seem very accurate. At times but trial and error figured it out. A nice tack and when I come to need it should be good.

Great service and good value for money. Roof bars as described and fit perfectly. Prompt delivery. Only issue which probably cost them more was the bars were dispatched from Micks garage which is based in Republic of Ireland (guessing because I live in NI) which went to England before being delivered by Royal Mail.

Strong sturdy racks that look great on the car, unfortunately they’re not level when installed so my roof tent had a slight incline on the back, plus the covers for the edge massively encroach on the bars so I had to adapt my roof tent fixtures to make it fit, also the rubbers on top come out easily and have basically worn away in places after a single use. apart from that a great product

I ordered roof bars, then read the reviews and panicked....BUT, I didn't need to. Bars arrived within 3 working days of ordering. Absolutely perfect for us, great price.
Thank you.
