Took my van in today for Habitation check, expensive, but reputation says it will be worth it, I have travelled a long way as I know I get good service. Staff very pleasant especially Cloe, thank you, I asked for some unrelated advice which Cloe went out of her way to get. Thanks see you again. I recommend this company.

So we had a few, “teething problems,” with our new van. Big thanks to Chloe, in the service department, for keeping us updated with the progress and for finding our missing door panel. Habitation and damp check all sorted too so ready to enjoy another year of motor homing 👍

I have been using Camper Uk for a few years (Fiat /Burstner agent) for various services and repairs on my Burstner motorhome (2013 year model). In April 2022, I arranged for a major service to be undertaken (approx 16,000 miles on clock), as we were due to do lots of travelling in the coming months, and i wanted piece of mind that everything was in good order. The service was carried out (£449 bill) but when i went to collect my vehicle, the service report included a comments section, and the engineer had reccommended for a cambelt replacement, along with a quotation for over £400 to carry out the works. As I am not local to Lincoln, I decided to go to a local commercial vehicle mechanic for advice and a second quote. The works was booked in, and i dropped off, but later that day, I was informed that the vehicle does not have a timing belt, but a chain instead, and that no further works was required. I contacted Camper UK service department service manager, and he was apologetic, but stating that the mechanic must have made a genuine mistake. I left the matter at that, although it left me thinking how many other customers are being ripped off by works that does not require completing. Two year on, and in April 2024, have had my motorhome serviced by my local commercial vehicle mechanic. When I went to collect my vehicle the following day, i was shown photo images that he has taken on the engine fuel pump. Essentially, the top of the pump has been fixed with a number of plastic cable ties, as the fixing clips had been broken, and on the previous service by Camper UK, the service report / invoice clearly stated that the pump filter had been replaced. I immediately contacted Camper UK service department, and was advised to email all details, including the original invoice and images, etc. This was done, and within my email, I requested a formal response, with reasons why have this would have happened with a main dealership status, and what they will do to complete the repair, with potential compensation for my time having to take the vehicle back to them for a couple of days to fix their shockingly poor workmanship. Five weeks on, and despite calling their service admin twice for a chase response, I have still not received any correspondance back, despite me advising that we have several trips planned, and I'm not very confident driving a vehicle that has a dodgy fuel pump cable tied up together. I will be taking this matter further with Camper UK, but wanted to advise anyone of my extremely poor experience, before they take their beloved campervan / motorhome for any works with this company.

This was my first experience of Camper UK for a service on my campervan.
When I arrived at reception I was promptly collected by Chloe who went through the paperwork and took my keys.
True to her word 4 hours later the van was ready for collection and she explained what had been done and took payment.
When I got into the van the plastic seat covers and paper floor mats were still in place and no grubby finger marks of dirty boot marks to be seen.
All I can say is it was a excellent experience and I will be using them again.

I sought advice on how to resolve a problem with my Burstener elevating bed, I am not a customer of Camper UK but would have been if parts were required! I got fantastic assistance from Jeremy in Service who was able to resolve the issue, no parts required. What fantastic customer service!

Having taken my motorhome to another garage after five months of it not being repaired I took it to Camper UK in Lincoln. They identified the part required but there was a 12 week wait for the part to be delivered from Germany! They decided to get me back on the road quicker by taking the part off a new van they had in stock. I don’t believe any other garage would have done that. Within 10 days I was back on the road with a new MOT and my motorhome gleaming after a clean. It’s thanks to James and others at Camper UK that this matter got resolved so quickly and efficiently. I have now become a regular Camper UK customer.

Correctly identified the right parts and even though quite expensive ( as coming from eu ) parts arrived much faster than the forecast time. Will use again.

We brought our used dethletts motorhome July 2023 from camper uk with a year warranty. We had a few issues with some minor defects. The after care we received in sorting out our issues was amazing credit to all the staff working at Camper Uk. Amazing People so devoted to their jobs.

Must say phoned camper uk up twice this week about the oil light and today phoned up as it came on again, spoken to dean and was very helpful, he couldn’t get any one to answer my question so he phone back with answer how many litres it need , what brilliant service you get from camper uk , they seem to have all the answers
