You know when you're in a tight spot? And you need help, this App sure saves the day. I'm moving to Oz and in dire need of a phone number to contact the people there using a local number. Thankfully Cooee helps by providing a solution that allows this to happen. The app is intuitive, very nice and friendly UI. Overall satisfied with the experience. Not to mention the support was fast, empathetic and world class!

Being an Aussie expat, my Oz number is kept on a second phone, seldom turned on until I need it to take calls or read SMS. This works, but relatively inconvenient .. until COOEE!
Cooee provides me with the convenience of calls and SMSs without the cost, or two phones, especially whilst I'm overseas.
Some, albeit very few vendors do not accept Cooee numbers when registering an Oz mobile, and the Cooee app display font size may be a touch too small to see, I still love the convenience the service provides me. Did I say it's truly reliable? Well, absolutely!

I signed up for Cooee this morning. I uploaded a photo of my passport and a selfie of myself with my passport for identity verification. They said it might take up to 24 hours for the account to be verified and active, but they approved me in a few hours.

I'm currently in the US but got a friend in Australia to send a test SMS message to my Cooee local number from his Australian local number. Came through just fine. I then asked him to phone me, and that also came through just fine. Voice quality was great.

So many Australian businesses seem to only know how to dial numbers within Australia. This has made it difficult to provide contact details to people for notifications when I'm traveling in Australia with my US mobile number. Cooee provides a much needed solution to address this problem.

I was going to carry a second phone and buy a Telstra SIM card to give me a local Australian number. Cooee makes that unnecessary. It also means my Australian number is going to keep on working when I come back to the US, which wouldn't have happened with the Telstra SIM card approach. I also get a year of service from Cooee for what Telstra would have charged me for a month.

I was having an issue with trying to dial into my Australian Cooee number from the US. I contacted Cooee's customer service and they are getting their engineers to look into it. It's not a big deal from my part, I just wanted to know if it should be possible. For international access I'll use my US SIM card. For calls in Australia, Cooee will serve just fine.

Have had many issues with calls not getting through and being notified via email. When calls do get through the quality of the call is bad and service drops out repeatedly. Also noticed call logs do not update, so does not display missed calls or recent calls. Have tried to remedy by logging support tickets but no response or improvement in service

I must say this service is a great substitute for a SIM card for receiving and sending SMS messages using an Australian mobile number, even while residing in the UK and Hong Kong. I am thoroughly impressed!
