Having reached out to Caledonia Tutors in the summer of 2025 I have nothing but praise for this company.
The communication was fantastic, talking is through the process and taking into account my daughters requirements when selecting a suitable tutor was first class.
Katie, who has since become my daughter’s tutor for Nat5 physics has been such a positive influence. Not only does she have a fantastic manner and way of teaching but she has helped my daughter gain so much confidence ahead of her Nat5 exam and I will be forever grateful.

I booked maths and physics tutoring for my daughter who is in 5th year at high school. Aiden talked with me about our requirements, my daughter's aspirations etc and matched her with two wonderful tutors who he thought would be a good match. Both were high performing students already studying at university in subject areas where my daughter is seeking to apply for.

My daughter's school doesn't have many female teachers in stem subjects and we found that not only did the tutors provide high quality tutoring in a way that my daughter related to compared with the teaching at her school, they also provided some mentorship and advice on preparing for university.

My daughter didn't need too many maths tutoring sessions from Natasha as quickly gained confidence and achieved a good prelim grade, we were really grateful for the support provided.

As my daughter is doing a crash higher in Physics, we kept her tutoring with her Physics tutor Matylda going into her higher exam. My daughter is looking at going into mechanical engineering but had a bit of catching up to do as hadn't done NAT5 physics. She'd struggled a bit at school on this subject she was the only one doing a crash higher in the class and had found the teaching at school quite dry. Matylda did a great job - my daughter really related to her teaching style and was really enthused following each session and worked in between times on the materials Matylda provided. This helped her catch up in class. She also found the study tips and exam advice Matylda provided really useful.

I would highly recommend - extremely cost effective tutoring if you are looking for tailored one to one tutoring. Thank you to both tutors.

We have been using Caledonia tutors for a number of years. We have always found Aidan to be helpful. He is great at matching clients needs with the appropriate tutors. Saved lots of times as broad range of tutors all whom have been approved to tutor.

Great company, quickly arranged smart, reliable, supportive tutor for my son to start immediately. Lessons by Teams arranged at convenient times. Tutor sent reminders and provided extra sessions before exams. Boosted son’s knowledge and confidence in maths.

Anna for Nat 5 physics tuition for my daughter has been really great. Very patient, reliable and good at explaining things. Has given my daughter more confidence going into the exam.

My daughter had 1:1 support and tuition from Ivy for application of maths and from Sarah for English. Both tutors were fantastic . They broke everything down to make it easier for my daughter to understand and really took time to get to know her and understand areas she was struggling with. After a disappointing experience with a study centre, we decided to try Caledonia Tutors to support my son through his Nat 5s after disappointing results on his prelims. We have been so pleased with the positive change in our son since starting with Caledonia Tutors. Rory Duffy has been particularly helpful in building up my son's confidence in physics - so much so, my son has now changed his Highers choice to physics! We've also been pleased with the targeted support he received from Mary for biology and, in recent months, from Karan for maths.

My daughter used Caledonia tutors to help with her higher human biology studies on the run up to her final exams and she found her tutor Millie to be very engaging, friendly and well organised. We found Caledonia tutors to be incredibly helpful and we would recommend them to anyone looking for additional support.

We had Monique for biology & Bob for chemistry.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were both supportive, encouraging & excellent at explaining the elements that my daughter was struggling with.
This did wonders for her confidence & she is fairly certain that she has the grades in her post exam reflections.

Caledonian Tutors is an exceptional experience from start to finish. Prompt and professional replies, suitable questions to clearly understand child's tutoring needs and lines them up with the most suitable tutor.

This year we’ve had Ubaida as a maths tutor for both my daughter at Advanced Higher maths level and my son sitting his Nat 5’s. Ubaida has truly been exceptional for both needs. He’s equally professional and friendly and tracks exactly what each student needs to fully understand and work on. He gives updates and feedback and was always available for communication. His explanations of the work has, according to my kids, been very easy to understand and entirely stress free! Both my kids truly enjoyed their sessions with Ubaida on every level. He’s organised and his lessons well planned and coordinated. He’s a fabulous asset to Caledonian Tutors and you’d be lucky to have your child placed with him!

Grace was an amazing tutor, really supported my daughter to not only increase her Nat 5 Maths grade but develop confidence in the subject. She was so relaxed before the exam!Grace was excellent at being flexible on the odd occasion we couldn't make the agreed time.

My daughter got biology tutoring from Ananya. The whole process was effortless and efficient. Ananya was a fantastic tutor and my daughter certainly benefited hugely from her support. My son has been receiving support from Ubaida for around a year now. He moved schools with very little interest in Maths, Physics, or studying in general. Caledonian Tuition helped a lot with his motivation and confidence.
