Delivery order prioritised over in store customers
Used Lancaster store for over 10 years. Usually great service and staff. Today some staff put completion of delivery order ahead of customers at front of queue between 9-10am. I had waited over 15 minutes was second in queue, asked for my order by female barista then delivery ticket came. She stopped serving, completed that delivery order then came back. Got coffee after 20 minutes. Seems loyalty means nothing as delivery orders prioritised over in store Lancaster customers. If it’s Nero’s company policy to do this - it needs as rethink or Nero’s will lose long term customers to rivals.
Horrible manager
Whilst visiting the Newmarket branch with my family we witnessed the hateful manager berating a young blonde female customer. Hateful hateful man. I would recommend everyone avoid this branch and go to one of the many other coffee shops in town. The poor woman. We hope she's OK and the horrible fat manager gets fired asap
Usually 5 star service at Eastbourne
Usually 5 star service at Eastbourne, Terminus Road. The Regular staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and courteous. However, today there is a new guy who must have been absent for the manners class at cafe school! So rude. Very abrupt. Made me feel I was being awkward just ordering coffees. Not one thank you from him. Hopefully the regular people will be back soon.
Cafe Nero Rickmansworth
Cafe Nero Rickmansworth, floor full of dog hair , rude staff especially the blonde haired woman and tall dark haired male barista , no manners or welcome . Extremely brusque manner from both on many occasions in what is essentially a pleasant coffee shop . Toilets need attention though .

We came here 4 years ago. Place was filthy. No change today. Toilets absolutely unfit for purpose as so filthy just as it was last time cafe Nero obviously dont read or respond to feedback. Will take my custom somwhere cleaner in future .

I ordered large oat milk coffee ,and I significantly thought the weight of my cup was way too light,so I asked the barista to hand me medium like cup ,and when I emptied the whole coffee into that medium size cup,it just fit perfect,so now I am thinking what is the meaning of large if that coffee ca easily fit into medium cup?.I feel that barista scammed me.

Please stop pushing drinking lid on top of sealed lid on the cups which have to be prized apart by customers in offices, which results in coffee flicked all over the place and messy hands. Leave drinking lids separate in bag. Please be mindful of the unnecessary mess that is created for the customer due to this obvious lack of care and oversight from Nero staff.

Filthy store
Went to harborne store today . Had 2 free drinks vouchers. Store was dirty floors . Big hole in ceiling. The drinks given was vile . I asked for no cream . Was given cream on my drink . As they was free did not complain. Could not drink them as was disgusting. Left out drinks and went to Costa instead. Will not return to this branch . Staff just seemed not to care about the drinks was made and diss interested .
Favourite coffee shop
I regularly visit Caffè Nero In Sutton Coldfield and there are usually familiar faces in there. The staff are very hard working, super friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to help with taking trays to tables. This branch has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Overpriced and overrated
Was given a gift card for here with a generous amount so decided to give it a try got a basic cheese and tomato sandwich which they toasted, was £4.95 😳 cheese was too thick and stringy hardly any tomato probably could have bout all the stuff and made it better myself for about £3 will not be going back will give the gift card away

Caffè Nero in Haywards Heath is usually very nice. But today I had the Barista being plain rude towards a customer.
The customer in front of me had asked for something different about his coffee. The Barista rolled her eyes and spoke to the other Barista and started saying why do people have such tastes and it would not make any difference. Whilst the guy was still in front of them he clearly heard them. Just took his coffee and left.
Not serving me
I drove from quite a distance to West Bridgeford get coffee before closing time and arrived at 6:56 PM, just a few minutes before 7:00. Unfortunately, I was told the machine was already being cleaned and I couldn’t be served.
I completely understand that cleaning needs to be done, but since the posted closing time is 7:00 PM, it would be appreciated if service could continue until that time. It was disappointing to make the effort to come on time and still not be able to order.
I hope this can be considered for future customers.
If you’d like, I can also make it slightly shorter or more direct depending on the platform.

Hay i popped into my local Cafe Nero… Junction 27 as always greeted by absolutely amazing staff… i was meet by Charlotte & Sam whom greeted with genuine warm smiles awesome customer service yet again was provided… i cant fault these staff members thank you for making my day a lot better beautiful souls you are😎👍🏻
I visited Caffè Nero in Bath
I visited Caffè Nero in Bath today for a tea and a latte. Unfortunately, the latte arrived almost cold, but the barista was helpful and made a fresh one immediately. However, when the new drink was brought to the table, the barista was holding the cup by the rim (where you drink from) rather than the handle. While the staff were friendly, better training on basic hygiene and hospitality standards is definitely needed.

The staff at Chester eastgate store are all fantastic. Emily, Jess, Mary, Alex, Caitlin the team (sorry to those I can’t remember your names ) are always welcoming friendly, efficient and the coffee is always great. A massive thumbs up
Buying a voucher via the app
Buying a voucher via the app, means a huge battle to get it while they happily and quickly take your money. I usually buy Costa vouchers but for once I made an exception and the emails back and forth for solving the mystery of a £10 voucher is beyond ridiculous! It goes without saying that I will never be buying a voucher or anything from Nero unless I am in the middle on nowhere and Nero is the only option to get a coffee.
Their coffee is good and often staff in cafes are nice but after this experience I’m so put off Nero! A natural talent at losing customers
Brighton cafe shouldn’t be serving food
Visited the one in Brighton and OMG could not believe how bad it was Dirty floors, toilets down 2 flights of stairs filthy also. Staff disinterested and I could be fairly sure it has never been visited by health inspectors.
