Yet another cowardly company!!....rather than face up to the facts and be honest that for whatever reason the business has failed...NO! they would rather pretend everything is fine, keep taking peoples hard earned money for a product they have absolutely no intention of providing......when challenged fob you off with lame excuses and promises of full refunds within 14 days.......Ha! to that.

Bought mattress from them and tried to return in August under 200 night trial, heard nothing from them. Rang them on Monday to be told Brook+Wilde gone into liquidation and that new company Brook+Wilde Sleep has no liability to previous contracts. Disgraceful. Hope they go bust again. Minus 5 stars.

I still haven’t received my mattress I ordered when pregnant. I now have a 5 month old baby… still no mattress.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Like other customers, our mattress collapsed at either side, with a ridge down the middle. We eventually got Jonathan's team to agree to a refund but they folded that Company rather than pay off their debts to unhappy customers. We raised a claim through the Small Claims Court but as the original company has now been folded, our prospects are very slim. Very poor product and Brook and Wilde are a company without any scruples. Don't waste your money.

Horrendous company. Avoid. Their products are awful. My mattress started getting a dent in it after a few months use. It took over 70 emails, a visit from an inspector and almost a year to get them to agree to a replacement and then they went quiet on me and blocked my emails from being received. Found out later the company had gone into liquidation and yet they are still trading under a different name with all same contact details and same CEO called Jonathan Coulson who can be contacted at: jonathan at brookandwilde.com

I never got my exchange or a refund. Absolute crooks. Save yourself a world of pain.

Bought my mattress 2 years ago. It was fine at first but started to sag and dip in the middle. I contacted them in July 2023 and was reassured it would be replaced if I measured the dip, really? I endeavoured to do so, sent photos as requested and was told someone would come and inspect it. I heard nothing else from them so I rang them and was told they had gone into liquidation. I am incandescent with rage. The person who dealt with my complaint must have known the situation but instead she lied and patronized me, having me measure dips and take photos at the same time, no mean feat! Shame on them all for cheating so many people and I truly wish them rotten luck with this new scam!!!!!

Very upset. Two year old Ultima mattress has a hump running down the middle now. Chatted online to find out company went belly up and new owners refuse to stand behind the warranty. Was told to buy a mattress topper! Avoid these mattresses as the quality isn’t worth the higher cost.

I purchased the Lux mattress in May 2021 and for the first 2 year the mattress was comfortable. Now it has two dips where we sleep and a ridge in the centre which my son complains is uncomfortable for him to lie on when he gets in our bed which is so sad. Now the mattress gives me back ache too. It's got so bad it's affecting my nerves, I went to contact Brook and Wilde only to find they're no longer in business. Now the manufacturing company sells them directly. Middle man or not, this mattress hasn't lasted 3 years let alone the 10 years of the warranty which is now completely worthless.
If anyone finds away of getting their money back, please do include this in their review.

kept changing date of delivery asked for money back they said order cancelled and would receive money back in7-14 days that 5 months ago and still not received.
took number off there website a number is back on now but cant get through.

Lovely mattress, came in good time and was very pleased.

Absolute scammers. Went into liquidation and relaunched with same website, same products and same staff. They are basically thieves and being allowed to continue thanks to stupid consumer law. Jonathon Coulson, director, has done similar previously and has other active companies at present. AVOID at all costs.

I bought a Brook and Wilde mattress that was faulty. It was just over the 200 night return policy.
They sent out a guy to assess the mattress and who confirmed it was faulty.
They said they had organised a replacement. It did not arrive. They went into administration and the new company won’t honour the replacement of the faulty goods.
It’s the same staff, branding, beds in this ‘new’ company, with the exception of the executives who took the cash and ran. The new guys taking over are behaving the same in how to run this business.
Avoid avoid avoid.

I ordered a bed a year ago, within 2 months a slat had degraded. I have to prop up the bed settee with a stool. I use the bed settee every weekend. I was told, after many E-mails I could have a new slat. So here I am, nearly 1year later, still waiting. My requests for the slat are just ignored. This is some of the most appalling customer service I have ever had. I am 63, and struggle every weekend to prop the bed up.

How can this be allowed to happen......
I placed an order in June & knew there was a long lead time so did not chase as awaited notice of delivery about now (October), chased today & was told they went into liquidation in August & i cannot get my mattress or my money back, waiting on MBNA to see if they can help. Very disappointed & they are still using the same website & just added sleep under the Brook + Wilde name, extremely disapointed & feel very angry & ripped off when i was happy i was buying from a UK company. Below is the reply from them,
Brook + Wilde Limited went into liquidation on 09.08.2023. This means that the company is no longer able to fulfill its obligations and has ceased trading. This means that whilst we are here, we are a different company from the one that you purchased from.
As a result, any warranties that were issued by Brook + Wilde Limited are now void. This means that you are unable to claim any refunds, repairs, or replacements for any products or services that were purchased from the company.

I had ordered a mattress of custom size and comfort level as firm. But the mattress received was oversized and also we found the firmness less than what was expected. So we ordered a return, and the mattress was returned. That's it, after that we never received our refund and now the company has gone broke. Not sure where to get the refund from.

This company is no longer active. They went into administration and "rebranded" as Brook & Wilde Sleep. Addition of the word sleep. I bought from the original company and tried to claim on the 200 night trial but they stopped communicating and it became apparent they went into administration. They are not honouring refunds from the "old" company. I would avoid this company given what they have already done once.
