People make the differenceWhen I booked the room
When I booked the room, it was hard to tell its size. But the manager, Hannah, was very attentive to our wishes and promptly moved us to a larger room (which, additionally, was on the 2nd floor rather than the 3rd). When she noticed that we had not preordered breakfast the next day, Hannah cooked for us! She is a peach! Such excellent, caring service.
OTOH, the champagne social was skimpy.

Gettysburg Gem
Stayed two nights to tour Gettysburg Battlefield Site. Beautiful historic home! Like stepping back in time. Room was nicely decorated and very clean. Our particular room was facing the street at the front of the house. So, there was a bit of semi-truck traffic noise in the early morning. Would recommend a room toward the rear of the house for light sleepers. Awesome 3-course breakfasts. Friendly welcoming hostess. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to PA. Highly recommended!

Exceptional Service
Another exceptional stay at the Brickhouse Inn. Everything was superb. Melanie and the staff made our stay relaxing and restful. They even kept the Christmas decorations up just for us!

Excellent Stay! Great Location!!
Wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Delaware room and it was very cozy. It is centrally located among the restaurants, town, and all of the historical sites and tours. This is the main reason we stayed here!! We may have also experienced a ghostly encounter in our room!!

Charming inn in the heart of…
Charming inn in the heart of Gettysburg. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the California House which was two floors. The living room on the first floor was ideal for gathering with our extended group. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Lovely old building
Lovely old building. Conveniently located. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The only thing that could be improved is the check in process. A little confusing.

Excellent well-located bed and breakfast
This is an excellent bed and breakfast. Buildings are from 1800’s, one when the battle took place. They are clean and well-kept. All rooms are different. I was traveling solo and stayed in the Virginia room. Pictures of rooms are on website. A stay here adds to the experience of being in Gettysburg and all the history in this place. The location is great. The town and battlefield visitor center are walkable in 25 minutes or less. My schedule did not allow breakfast but I did book a food tour for lunch which was enjoyable. They have several tours that can be booked many of which meet right at the hotel. I would stay again. The only downside is their no refund policy.

We loved the Inn itself
We loved the Inn itself. Many beautiful antiques as the decor. We loved our room we stayed in the Tennessee Room! The continental breakfast was a treat, really great coffee.

Relaxing and Perfect Location
We had the most relaxing time with friendly staff! The location is perfect for walking to so many nearby shops, restaurants, pubs and more! Plus the Brickhouse offers tours for even more convenience. All in all perfect and definitely looking forward to our next stay.

We stayed in the Texas room and it smelled like a musty damp basement. The 36$ for breakfast was a little much for what we got.
