Boxelder Consulting, what can I tell you? I have been using their services for a few years now and continue to go back to them year after year. They are straight forward and honest. They helped me straighten out my State and Federal Taxes (5 years’ worth) that I needed help with. I found they are very honest, and I trust them with all of my taxes now. They will work with you all the way through to the end and have very reasonable pricing. They also have a well-balanced staffing of lawyers and accountants to help take the mental pressure off of you. I give them 5 stars because of this and highly recommend their services.

If you're looking to simply be a number. If you're inspired by condescending conversations. If you welcome repeated micro managing the accuracy of documents... Like...what state your filing in...If you can't the basics right, what else are you doing incorrect -ly?? Well now, you've just irritated them, and you better sign off on those corrections IMMEDIATELY, or you're chastised like a petulant child. If you have time and energy to review ad nauseam what you know to be the previously discussed issues and timeline, without ANY progress, and endless zoom meetings to "reset". If you are willing to accept YOU are to blame for any and all delays. If you appreciate being told that accountant leadership is "Very busy" during tax season, and unless you have"signed" there may be delays"-Despite paying $500 fee to begin process- BTW, no delay accepting the fee! If your employer allows you you unlimited flexibility to leave work for said Zoom meetings, where key players are MIA...Incidentally I'm a frontline healthcare worker, who like so many, have become punch drunk over the accumulated stress in the past 2+ years. Lastly, if you desire to have your " file closed", without warning, or any updates as to the status of your case processes... Then this is the PERFECT agency for YOU!! The only consolation is that, I've since learned this is a resounding theme, for others who have shared the same experience. Sigh..So, I guess I shouldn't take this personally? Don't worry, if you have second thoughts, the dismissive/ patronizing termination letter, invites you to reach out with any questions or needs! Next stop BBB ( Be advised client reviews are not included in overall rating) Word of mouth is EVERYTHING.

Tom Conradt was extremely unprofessional AND used profanities on two separate calls! Called to clarify cost of their services since he rushed me off the phone the first time stating he had an "important" call to take both times. The second call he DID NOT want to clarify anything before I paid $250 for previous year tax review. stating "You need to make payment". Why do I need to make a payment before finding out cost of filing the return, what services are available, etc. Seems his focus was only to rushing me into dropping money before making sure the customer was informed enough to make a decision. Definitely do not want to work with this firm after this experience with him!
